I saw him do this on this tour and walked out with a big question mark hanging over my head. Ritchie had heard that Trevor Rabin solo on Owner of a Lonely Heart (by the band YES) and was very impressed with it. Said it was the greatest solo he had ever heard. So he started playing like this live. In retrospect it was a great experience, the band bloody tight but some of the solos were god damn awful. Cheers 🍺

Fantastisch!
The ultimate Mr. Blackmore video would be Him going to Guitar Center grabbing a white Strat off the wall and playing Smoke on the Water, putting the guitar on the counter and walking out.
2:16 and on sounds very much like zeppelins live jam on dazed and confused around 5 minute mark!
until 2:20 it's a fake not original recording then the real recording starts you can hear' the difference in tone
and also if you watch ritchie's hands for the first minutes, the sound is not what he plays on the fingerboard in my opinion but i might be wrong
Damn straight Ritchie Blackmore's the guitar god! He's written music that will take your soul to a different dimension if you're a guitar enthusiasts and true musician and true lover of the blues hard rock 70s
You have to see the whole show, because it was stunning. Fresh, brutal and also they seemed to have very much fun on stage. Everybody is doing a very good job.
This part is taken out of Space Truckin'. And I think his job on it is better in Knebworth '85. But he is the one and only. And he is allowed to do so. Just watch the show from '72 Kopenhagen, also the Space Truckin' part. He is crazy, but that is good.
ok..........that was mostly atrocious ........and i am , and have always been, a Blackmore fan........i expect more.
Listen Me lo like neither but he is obviously doing stage antics. They suck sometimes but he’s still alright after 8 bottles of armenac and clam broth! So there!
Simplemente un Genio 🎸
Guitar kings👑👑
This was at that very short lived magic era on the MK2 regroup when Blackmore was being a madman again, & everything was firing on all cylinders for a very short time. The PS tour was awesome to see !!
Who was MK2???
@@timothyapwisch7652 MK2 would be the 2nd line-up of DEEP PURPLE (most iconic) of Blackmore, Lord, Paice, Gillan, & Glover, from 69-73, 84-88, & short lived 25 yr reunion from 93-94 when Blackmore left for good. The MK1 lineup was short lived with Evan's & Simper with Hush in 68, MK3 in 74-76 was very successful with Coverdale & Hughes in the band, 1 of my favorite lineups!!
I saw that incredible tour. In 1985, here in Madrid.
I was there...
Always a fan of them, mainly, RB, and all his works.
A genius guitarist and songwriter.
I love Ritchie, but this is just noise…..
The best lead guitarist in the world
He is absolutely the greatest guitarist EVER.Not even Hendrix is so creative and imaginative as he is. There's many of great players, but Ritchie is some other planet, for all of them.
Blackmore / Rory Gallagher
Don't be so ridiculous
Easily
Who is the guy on congas ? Just has made an incredible job !
Happy Birthday #70 Master! One of creators of metal!
The true Mister Riff and The former Deep Purple and Rainbow
The best! 👌
❤Ritchie
I dont know why but i love it
🤢
Meraviglioso chitarrista ..tanto di cappello. .una forza della natura. .Fender Blackmore. .
Great. I like it.
How it stayed in tune and didnt break a string is beyond me. Quite a thick tone for a strat.
Legendary ritchie blackmore your the number one in my favorite guitarist in the world
,...that's for sure ! In eternal remembrance of CHILD IN TIME !!! :-) ALWAYS NO. ONE O:-)
💎💎🎸🎸🎵🎵 Ritchie Blackmore Guitar Hero de mon adolescence 🎵🎵🎸🎸💎💎
Blackmore THE guitarist on this planet.
Yes,Ritchie Blackmore the guitarist of this planet,Jimmy Page THE GUITARIST OF THE UNIVERSE
@@carlosbessone7605.. Jimmy Page could not carry Blackmore's guitar strap to be honest. Even Page has admitted he can't hang with Ritchie.
@كافر Krok O'dil كافر litterally no one
@كافر Krok O'dil كافر no it's actually truw
The man is a beginner. Try with Paco de Lucía.
Cheers 🍺
disjointed random noise is all I can hear
@@inatorquoisemood93 What you hear is a completely different thing. Ritchie is a god, not just because he plays insanely but he also feels what he plays, that solo was an example....
I'm obviously not saying this with any offence It's just some facts.
Have a nice day! :)
Absolutely awesome!!
all hail the creator of shred guitar!🤘🏻
С днём рождения, здоровья и долгих лет жизни, ну и ещё пару гениальных композиций, как вы умеете
Ritchie used to goof off on purpose to mess with people. He kept his own style his whole career
Happy birthday Ritchie 🎆🎸🎆🎸🎆🎸🔊🔊🔊🔊
✌️✌️✌️👍👍👍👏👏👏
Still watching. Ritchie…want to be your guitar ;-)
Best guitar player ever.
I feel like at a museum:
_"I don't quite get it chief"_
Just met this guy today! He was getting eggs and some snacks from the local CVS.. I was so stoked. He even took a picture with me. Was worried I was going to meet the angry old man, but he was quite pleasant. Thanks again for taking that photo with me Mr. Blackmore.
That's funny, because a guy I used to work with won a trip to see Richie in Japan--I think he said Japan--and told me R was the biggest d-head ever. My friend was allowed backstage before the show to talk to him and he said R was rude AF. I get that maybe he was psyching up for the show and doing his meditating and stuff, but don't invite a fan into your place and then treat him like a cockroach.
@@jimnewl I can understand that. There are clips on YT of Ronnie James Dio saying what a real prick he was. Maybe he changed his ways. It was still an honor to meet him and leave with a positive experience. Just the fact that he lives so near to us.. We also have Ralph Macchio, we had Dee Snider, but I think he moved away. Question is, why the hell are you living in Miller Place and Mount Sinai? lol
Long Live Ritchie.......
It’s sounds like his guitar is up so loud that it frets out and the sound goes back in the guitar.
Ya mean feedback?
Like a clipping fuzz box
Thanks for commenting on my video, I’m very grateful and I hope you never stop listening to my music... I would love to honor you by giving you one of my personal information if that’s okay with you because you sound like a good fan of my music 🎵 ❤️🤍🕊
