    Hi
    I’m trying to export to my Samsung T7 SSD but I do not have an option to save to files within the "available resource?
    However I can separately access the SSD files within files app
    Any idea why it’s not showing within LumaFusion?

      Did you make editing to SSD available on LumaFusion and then link to the drive and or folders on the SSD?

      @@IAMSTULITTLE ssd editing is enabled, but it still didn't show up as an option. Sometimes when the import require mor space, the software offers the option to export it to the ssd, as a pop up window. But it is still not available as a base setting.

    The Files option seems to be missing on my Lumafusion. It is the latest version.

      Did you edit the list of options either in LF or on the Share panel?

      @@IAMSTULITTLE Nevermind, I just talked to Lumafusion support and they said they renamed the Files option to Linked Folders in their new update.

    nice vids Stu: question for you. is it possible to have LumaFusion save the project to an SSD external drive rather than on the internal iPad storage

    • @IAMSTULITTLE
      @IAMSTULITTLE  2 роки тому +2

      Thank you 🙏 to answer your question yes you can. Make sure your SSD is plugged in and at export choose the linked folder options and link to your SSD drive to export it. 🤙

    Thanks for the tutorial. I’m looking for a faster way to save to a thumb drive. I’m using an M2 iPad Pro & a usb3. By going they the files app, it’s taking forever to save. Is there a better way I could be doing this? Thanks a bunch.

    • @IAMSTULITTLE
      @IAMSTULITTLE  Рік тому +1

      Thanks. Glad you are enjoying the tutorials. As for thumb drives. Unless you have purchased a drive with a really fast read/write speed then they are notoriously slow. My suggestion would be to either buy a Samsung T7 SSD or a Sandisk Extreme SSD. Chose the size you can afford and they both have fast read/write speeds for video editing directly into Lumafusion. They also work with iPhone although you need a dongle that supplies power where’s as they can be powered directly from the iPad without the need for extra power connectors.

    Hi,
    What i dont understand if LumaFusion needs internal storage to edit files?
    When you drop them to LumaFusion are they copied to iPad or they stay on the SSD?
    Basically can i get 128GB iPad pro and 2Tb external SSD to edit LONG 2-4H 4K videos [gameplay]?
    Thanks

    • @IAMSTULITTLE
      @IAMSTULITTLE  Рік тому

      You can go into the preferences and change it so that the files are always on the SSD instead of being copied. 🤙

    Is it possible to send s10 note plus video clips to an external ssd and use it via lumafusion

    • @IAMSTULITTLE
      @IAMSTULITTLE  3 роки тому +1

      Does the S10 Note Plus not have a dual sim slot which allows you to have a Micro SDx Card? I would save the video clips to that and then use a card reader to get them onto an iPad or iPhone. The other options is to use the likes of Dropbox, Google Drive etc, upload them to the cloud then import them to LumaFusion. 🤙 I hope this helps. If you have any other questions then I’m here to help.

      @@IAMSTULITTLE actually I got a broken screen s10 note so I was thinking if lumafusion does support videos from that phone without loosing its video quality that would be a better option than to buy a iPhone
      I would be happy if you suggested me
      I wanna practice edit in lumafusion via iPadmini 5
      Shall I fix the mentioned smartphone or get an iPhone

    • @IAMSTULITTLE
      @IAMSTULITTLE  3 роки тому

      As long as the camera lenses are not scratched or chipped then using a smartphone with a cracked screen is not too big an issue. Although long term I would invest in an iPhone X, 11 Pro or 12 Pro if you have the funds. This is purely because the Apple ecosystem just works seamlessly with all their devices. iPad Mini 5 will be totally fine although it may get a little slow if you are editing a lot of 4K video. What part of the world are you from?

    • @IAMSTULITTLE
      @IAMSTULITTLE  3 роки тому +1

      It seems you can either use MicroSD or you can plug-in a Samsung T5 SSD and record directly to the drive using Filmic Pro. Or if you are using another app then you can just move video from the phone to the SSD video then on to the iPad. Also you will need to format the drive FAT32.
