I've watched your Twilight reviews multiple times and i really like it , it's so funny, you should definitely review the last book so we can all he angry together. Thanks for your iconic review :)
It seems we have a completely different taste in games (which isn’t a bad thing, of course). Granted, I only play, like, two franchises regularly - Pokémon and Darksiders, which are drastically different. I rather games that I can sit back and relax playing, like Pokemon and similar games, but when I want to murder stuff, I go to Darksiders (which also has a great story and art style IMO). But you seem more driven to hardcore gameplay which is cool. I guess I’m just a naturally jumpy person, so playing games where fighting enemies that get right on top of you isn’t my cup of tea all the time, which is also why I can’t play first-person games, I find them disorienting. Anywho, I think it’s really cool that you like to share your love of videogames, as well as books, ‘cause you don’t really see a lot of booktubers who talk about their other passions, so it’s refreshing, in a way.
I love Pokémon too!! What is your favorite generation? And I'm jumpy too, so it takes me a lot longer to finish games like The Forest than others. I'm a scaredy cat most of the time 😂 and thank you! I wish more people talked about their interests other than books, I like to see what other things people get up to in their free time.
BookishCheryl The “what’s your favourite generation” question is always kinda tricky for me, ‘cause I like most of the generations for different reasons. The most rounded would be Gen V, with great music, characters, story, and a Pokémon roster that I genuinely love. I really like a lot of Hoenn Pokémon, Team Magma/Aqua and most of Gen III’s music. While I don’t like X and Y’s story or characters all that much, I think they are some of the better looking and sounding games. Sun and Moon was kinda mind blowing, since there was a near-zero number of Pokémon I disliked; the region was fun and unique, the characters and story were amazing (nearly cried at the end, even), and I really enjoyed a lot of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon’s post-game content, even if the main story didn’t hold up to Sun and Moon. Of course, I have a soft spot for Gen IV, since Pearl was my first Pokémon game, but I am willing to admit that it wasn’t the best Gen, even though Platinum was awesome - and, I suppose my favourite Pokémon, Darkrai, is from Gen IV. I’ve also been playing Let’s Go Eevee, which, like the rest of Gen VII is stunning to look at, and fun to play, although, I’m not a huge fan of the overly orchestrated music. However, it is the first time I’ve actually had fun playing through a Kanto-centric game (which is its own novel-length comment :P). So, really, I like all of them, but if you put a gun to my head and told me to pick, I suppose V. Since I didn’t know you liked Pokémon, I’m really keen to ask: what’s your favourite Gen? Favourite Pokemon? Favourite anything, really. :P
I am partial to Ruby. I played the heck out of it as a kid, and when omega ruby was announced I couldn't contain my excitement. It has some of my favorite Pokémon overall as well. Pearl/diamond were fun, but didn't grip me nearly as much. I played a lot of X and really enjoyed how they fluidly integrated the previous generations Pokémon. I played moon, and while I enjoyed it for its unique spin, it didn't really hold up the other games for me. I didn't play ultra moon because my husband got it and said it was incredibly tedious. I'm playing Let's go Eevee and am enjoying it, although it doesn't really feel like a Pokémon game to me? I don't know, I like it, but I don't feel the incentive to battle and have a strong team with it.
BookishCheryl BookishCheryl Yeah, Ultra is skippable; they’re pretty grind-y, and while I’m not opposed to having to grind, it’s also one of the main reasons I don’t like the older games. And I get the Let’s Go thing, I personally like a lot of the changes, it makes the game more chill, less time consuming, and it really isn’t that hard to have an over leveled team (nearly at level fifty before the fifth gym), so there really isn’t anything to worry about, you can just kinda play it, and I understand why that may not be super appealing to some. Ruby was actually the second Pokémon game I played - got it as a hand-me-down - however, I would say I prefer the remakes, just ‘cause they play a lot better, the music is more appealing to my ears, etc. And, I suppose I like Sun and Moon so much because I have a lot of interest in Hawai’i, and the story also hit me personally, which I guess is the best part about videogames: they can mean something different to everyone who experiences them (like all forms of media, I suppose).

I wish I knew more about video games! it's something that really fascinates me, but I'm so ignorant 😅 great video ^^
I'm still learning a lot about them too, especially earlier ones. It can definitely be intimidating. But thank you!
Great video enjoyed New Vegas too. Haven’t played the Witcher series but I love Skyrim
Skyrim is a favorite of mine too!
