Both myself and a close friend played this game to death [...rommel...] and the spot sound samples were just great [...minefield...] This brings back memories... [...stuka...] [...tiger...] Love it :)
Back then I was very impressed by the speech samples in this game. It also looked good for its time The unofficial successor "Heavy Metal" looked even better while gameplay remeined nearly the same. Not the greatest games on the 64 but quite impressing.
Grandioso gioco di guerra dove la povera macchina del 64 da soddisfazione, la grafica e' importante ma molte volte la modalità e versatilita' salva il gioco redendolo unico.
I was always a bit confused about the strategy in playing this game. I remember you could ask for air support one time to buy time. I see now it was important to capture depots.
Wasnt there a 1999 PC game with this, i dont know what that was called but mail me if you know the game im thinking of it was shithard and you had to defend etc like in this game it was AWESOME and stupid hard.
God i'm old.

Better than BF4, at least it had no bugs...
Damn I remember this. "Ambush!"

My childhood...
This game was the bomb! :D
Many of the same sfx and graphics as Ace of Aces.
Incredible how the brain remembers the sound above the image, tears come to my eyes
Awesome! The radio transmission just popped into my head and I had to hear it again after all these years!
100% me too... so glad to find it
Same here!!
The graphics are simple but very effective - such a nice style.
Stuka! Stuka! Tiger! Minefield! Minefield! Rommel.
This sequence of words has banged around in my head for nearly 40 years

Looks like a Cheater!
I heard about this game in the comic strip "The Computer Warrior". I suppose the Turbo Sherman *did* exist in North Africa.

@Rawsawn It was almost certainly Battlezone 2 you're thinking about.
