I guess that our fascination with abandoned, derelict, more often than not cramped spaces does not really comply with Bandrop's goal - to showcase interesting locations around the city. But we cannot resist. When Pavlos Pavlidis suggested a junkyard as the setting for his session we were thrilled with the idea. Our cinematographer started envisioning huge junkyards, like the ones we see in hollywood productions, while our location hunting led us to this amazing sun-drenched, wreck-filled lot, surrounded by green fields, clear skies and the sounds of nature. The rooster heard just a few seconds before the band starts playing not only matches the surrounding but also the song, which is a kind of call to arms, an awakening, a cautionary manifesto for those who eat from trash - literally and metaphorically...
Pavlos Pavlidis has been around for as long as I can remember. Most of us have been huge fans of his music since we were teenagers. This is a new song of his and this is the first video with his current band, the B-Movies, even though they've released four albums already. It's a turning point, one of the few songs to be included in a soon to be released EP, somewhat different to his style and therefore not easy to be integrated with his other songs. (L.C.)

Πριν από κάνα μήνα Θεσσαλονίκη είδα έναν πρεζάκια που περπατούσε ξυπόλυτος.Παραξενεύτηκα και κοίταξα να δω τις αντιδράσεις των άλλων ένας γέλασε ένας κατέβασε το κεφάλι και χαμογέλασα αμήχανα.Μετά πάω σπίτι και παω να βαλω μουσική youtube,, πάω να γράψω που... είναι οι πέννες σας και μου πετάει που... να βρω παπούτσια.Να κλάψω με ήρθε σαν να ήταν απο τον Θεό.

Ουσιαστικά είναι ειρωνικοί. Με έμμεσο τρόπο σχολιάζει την κοινωνία και τα πιστεύω της. Στο πρώτο άκουσμα, νομίζει κάποιος πως αυτά που λέει ο Παύλος τα εννοεί, αλλά αν το σκεφτείς, είναι εντελώς το αντίθετο.
