I came here SPECIFICALLY to see if Jackson Rathbone would be on this. That episode messed me up when I first saw it. His eyes give that character EVERYTHING.

Top 20 criminal minds unsubs with the most tragic backstories or with justifiable motivation
I was recently rewatching the Star Trek reboot films and was reminded again about the loss of Anton Yelchin. In everything he's done, he was wonderful. When you watch him do a role like he did here in CM, it makes you wonder what else he might have accomplished had he lived. I always really liked him as an actor and I particularly appreciated his CM episode - he was such a tragic figure.
You skipped the double hit of horror icons Tobin Bell and Adrienne Barbaeu in sthe same episode of as elders of two rival families ala the Hatfield & McCoys .
They weren't just enemies they were brother and sister who had a son together

29:33 Anton Yelchin's character truly was one of the saddest and then his real life passing so young & tragically makes rewatching the episode more difficult.

Ed Asner was also incredible in an episode of CSI: NY. I completely recommend watching that episode as its so emotional and has a twist concerning Ed's character you didnt expect. Its CSI: NY Season 5, Episode 22 "Yahrzeit"
Anton Yelchin would have been great for Evolutions, his passing still breaks my heart

Frankie Muniz played an extremely interesting character on Criminal Minds…and he did a wonderful job of it!

It should be noted that Wittrock actually started working with Murphy in a minor yet memorable role on his HBO film adaptation of Larry Kramer's play "The Normal Heart" before he started appearing on "AHS".
That was such a beautiful film, too, as well as being full of names (Albert, Wittrock's character, still breaks my heart, as does Ben's reaction to meeting Felix)
I only forgot a few of these, maybe less than 10. Most of these characters were memorable to forget

I been a criminal minds super fan for a long time now I’m a shame that I forgot those actors were in the show like wil Wheaton and Matthew lillard, dean norris, and Aaron Paul. I’ll be rewatching the franchise as my punishment
DJ Qualls, who I mostly know as Rat from The Core, was in the pilot episode of Criminal Minds.
Ok I’ll rewatch criminal minds again..
#21 has to be my most favorite one. So much in that episode.
Also in Heathridge Manor (the episode with Englund and Gallner), Juliet Landau plays the UnSub's mother, an actress with schizophrenia who's pretty sure she can see the future, which is pretty appropriate for the Mad Seer herself
The UnSub (well, one half of the team, anyhow) in Evan Peters' episode is Bud Cort, known for Harold and Maud, who was a minor character in The Life Aquatic, the Wes Anderson film that was Matthew Gray Gubler's first role (probably because Matt directed that episode)
Also a decent proportion of the cast of Supernatural, from Unsubs like Richard Slessman (DJ Qualls, Garth) and Philip Dowd (Tim Omundson, Cain, as well as Psych's Lassie, among other things), to victims like Helen Douglas aka Jezebel (Samantha Smith, Mary Winchester) and Lynn Robillard (Sierra McCormick, Lilith's child Vessel, as well as Olive from ANT Farm and Creepy Connie from Jessie), to other randoms like Captain Wright (Steven Williams, Rufus, as well as The X Files' Mr X) and Jack Vaughan (Frederic Lehne, Azazel) (and that is a selection that I can remember from a much longer list)
Generally, if a show has enough episodes, it's going to have a _massive_ overlap with other shows, especially if they also have loads of episodes, some of which make you go 'they managed to get _them_?' (Mark Hamill, Amber Heard, Jack Coleman, as well as several others that have already been mentioned) (though to be fair Heard is in series one, and Hamill took the part because his daughter is a massive fan of the show, as well as it being an interesting part)
The couple in Wil Wheaton’s episode are also relatives of Hollywood megastars. William Mapother is Tom Cruise’s cousin and, obviously, Robyn is Blake Lively’s half sister. Just a little fun fact.
I know all of these. Plus I recognize extras from singular episodes. I have watched this show maybe only twice all the way through. I don’t know why it all sticks with me.
