WAINFLEET nr. Skegness. Part 01. dr12

Drive through WAINFLEET, nr. Skegness, Lincolnshire. From Bateman's Brewery, through Wainfleet, around the clock tower and market square, on to the Skegness Road, reversing back into Wainfleet and finishing at Barkham Street.
Barkham Steet was built, mistakenly by local legend, to plans of contemporarily built London streets around Bethlem Hospital - a London steet in rural Lincolnshire.

My grandfather David Pycock was born in Wainfleet St. Marys and emigrated to Ontario Canada in 1886 when he was three. I have always wanted to see Wainfleet and the church where he was christened (All Saints, I believe).
