Adding to the "how much DPI is correct discussion":
There is no such thing as too high sens. U play whatever lets make u the shots while not cramping up in ur hand. I also hate playing 800/2 - turning becomes a pain in close combat. Personally i play 1000 dpi / 2. U play 2000/1.05 which is basically the same effective DPI.
Just started playing MnK play at 800dpi and 1.6 sense and 1 ads feels most comfortable, attempting to catch up with my good mnk teammates lmao
District you can bind every heal type to a diff key, suggest doing it it makes healing way easier. And if you have an issue bc if small hands, play with your board canted, makes reaching keys much easier

@@TheRealDistrict i have smaller hands as well so i have to cant my shit LOL but mine are set weird F is cells G bats, H is syringes J meddies. But ive heard a lot of people setting big heals to mouse buttons and small heals to some close keys that arent used.
One buddy uses his side mouse buttons and mmb for all his big heals

@@TheRealDistrict Dude I have just switched to kb and m too and bro on high fps and high refresh rates, movement feels like I am wearing anti gravity boots. Like when I am strafing in the air it is so much more noticeable than when I was on console
Gonna finish watching this after work but for sensitivity, playing around with the decimals is a game changer. I don’t find that the game rounds up or down so you can fine tune to yourself. For example my mouse is set at 1600 dpi and in game settings currently are 0.79 and 1.07 for ads.
As for the hands issue, shifting your hand over so having esdf or rsdg as movement inputs will create more keys to plays with.

You usually play 1.0 ADS multiplier to make it consistent. And sensitivity should be somewhere between 800 and 1600 eDPI (ingame sensitivity * dpi). I play 1200 edpi

Nice, tryin the MnK. Personally, using low sens that your comfortable looking around with/tracking up close is important, then manipulating ADS values by small increments for iron,2x,3x to what is comfortable was the best. Your 1x value looks too high because you overshoot the target and say your using 1.0, change the value to 0.9 and test it. GL

Id say mnk is easier at ranges, harder up close with micro. But its not a huge ceiling difference in aim, just harder to be consistent. Could be wrong though, thats just my impressions of it.
You're alright on mnk practice more, use like 800 dpi | 1.3 - 1.5 in game sense, i think those are great for starters.
The low sense will force u to utilise arm aim soo you will have less wrist strain and less shaky aim.

I been coaching PC for about 3 years, but now I play mnk
everyone seems to play such low sense on mnk i play 2500x 2000y dpi with a 2.0 sense but with like a .5-ish ads
800dpi 1.5-2.5 sense is the most common sense for a mouse player on apex

mnk is wayyyy more fun, but roller is just so much more comfortable to play, not stretching my hands all over my keyboard
As a hybrid controller is more fun in the sense that i can just rock back and play, when i play MnK i have to stay to close up at all times and i just want to relax a bit sometimes rather than sticking so close up to the screen in serious mode at all times
After seeing this I’m convinced mnk players complain about controller because majority of them aren’t good mechanically you barely have that much time in mnk and your frying.

Controller movement was "sOoO mUcHh fUn" because it was automated & easy as fuck, you had to do nothing but hold a button and move the left stick to lurch, with AA always active. Welcome to the real world lurching + aiming if at all you master it. All the best.
Also your sens is insanely high, for 1600dpi try 0.6-1 ingame sens range with 1ads.
I actually find controller tapstrafe harder then MnK so idk man... MnK movement is smoother, easier to control and overall way better... its just "hard" because I'm not used to moving on a keyboard
@@TheRealDistrict in that case I'd love to see you do pito strafing, figure 8 strafing & consistent directional lurches in a fight on mnk once you get used to mnk movement. Because it's easier than controller with holding a key, surely.

First day on M&K, so u have gone from using CGH hacks on Steam to using no recoil hacks and no doubt dialled aimbot. Your already moving better than most players who have played for years on day 1.
