Would just like to apologise for the audio peaking at times, some wally decided to reset the audio levels by mistake the day before and then forget to re-input them. 😞 But hopefully the video gives you a good idea what the Royal International Air Tattoo is all about and if it is for you. I will be 100% going for 2 days next year!
The only advantage it had was it wasnt so busy. But everything u can see and do in the viewing garden can be done in the normal zones. I wouldnt myself pay again to go into it.
@@kakteenkanalname They were busy and crowded, but you could move around in them. I thought the viewing garden would have provided more, maybe a better angle of the jets, maybe it would have provided the best position to view the jets, maybe better opportunities to capture photos, but this wasn't the case. The only thing that the viewing garden gave you over the other areas was more space to move around. It had no viewing benefit over the standard viewing areas. I remember thinking to myself when I arrived in the viewing garden this was a bit of a rip off. The most annoying thing about it also was it is located towards one end of the run way, so in fact you miss lots of the action, you cant see the planes coming into land and the displays are all to the right.
no way my group i was with when i did the week long air cadets camp there, we were manning the entrance to the viewing garden that day! hope you enjoyed it :)
@@TheCameraManReviews wish i could but as air cadets we’re not allowed to do that kinda stuff, supposedly we’re not even allowed to take pictures with the public there’s all sorts of stupid media rules n stuff, sorry mate!
Yeah photos will be no problem, I was worried when I went that i would get a good spot, but the planes are like 45 degrees upwards, so wherever you are in the airfield you have a great view!

Don't even need to watch this just go. It's amazing
BRILLIANT!
Great video😄 I’m going to RIAT 2024 on Saturday. What time would you recommend for walking through the stores so I don’t miss the action?
I found it was very tricky, even if you get there early, the show last pretty much all day. With it being an airfield it is massive.
You generally find that around lunch you'll have slight less exciting acts on
I’m going RIAT 2024 on Friday and taking my canon 250d and sigma 150-600mm lens, I’m so excited
Don't go Friday !!! Many jet not flying this day !
@@Heiseneit can’t do any other day rip, going to London for a party so I would’ve done Saturday and we only want to be there for a few hours anyway
Yeah friday wont have things like the RAF F35 flying
Nice video!
Would you generally recommend the viewing garden? Did it offer any advantages?

@@TheCameraManReviews How packed where the other crowdlines? I've never been to a RIAT so i'm wondering whats best
