Exercising Patience when Assessing Crop Emergence

Once seeds are in the soil, growers may be eager to get back in their fields and take stand counts, survey emergence and see how their crop is setting up. Cold and rain can delay emergence, however, and as Pioneer Field Agronomist Eric Rice explains, growers will need to exercise patience.
