Chasing CSX 1976 (Conrail Heritage Unit) Around Cleveland at CSX's Family Days! 8/12/2023

On August 12th, 2023, CSX Transportation would host an event in their Collinwood Yard titled “Family Days”.
This event was put on by CSX higher ups, to let employees have a day off to spend with their family and friends. It was essentially like any other fair you would attend, with food, rides, and games. The main feature of this event however, would be the train rides that were offered to attendees. The car they would be riding in on this day would be CSXT 994318.
Pulling the car would be CSX 1976, one of the railroad's newly painted engines, honoring CSX’s predecessor companies. 1976 in particular pays homage to Conrail, which just so happens to be one of the previous owners of the line this train would be traveling on.
Join us, as we chase this train around Cleveland, and up the old Lakefront Line!
