- Sarens proudly presents a brand new documentary on how the queen of cranes, the emblematic SGC-120, is assembled. This this the newest documentary of the #Howwedoit series for Sarens.
The production project involved over 10 days of filming with drone cameras and high-end ground cameras supported by four crew members. 30 post-production hours were spent to edit infinite footage, brand, copy-write, and invest with music and voice over this video. Don't miss watching it and remember to share it!

Impresionantes mega estructuras mecánicas .
It borders on surreal seeing something this big.
you should see one of the giant crane ships, they manage to make this look small.
What a beautiful machine! I am in love
Glad you like it!
@@SarensCranes ❤️💪🏾
Thank you for posting. I have always been curious about the man basket work on jobs like these. I always thought by best practices and applicable laws that a single part line was required as to be able to tie in 2 “safety” cables. One for basket redundancy and one for personal tie off. It’s obvious that the crane has the capacity just wandering about the secondary “safety” cables. Anyone have thoughts?
Nice vid!
these crane already shown in RDMP balikpapan project 😎 amazing
All I can say is WOW!
Whats the song playing in the background?
Awesome video btw.
Friend or foe minecraft

Oh..amazing..I'm profesional Rigger..I ever Assembling by Liebherr 1.800t..I want to joint the Sarens.
What do you think of this 500m tower crane designed to lift the prefabricated units into the Parrahub building.
The counterbalance moves maintaining the balance as hook load is gradually increased/decreased.
It can lift 15 or probably more of the biggest U.S locomotives. It’s amazing.
Truly amazing!
where i can see this amazing view of this crane on google street view, plz tell us the location
Hinkley Point C
Who build it?

@Caspian Ryder wow you two are definitely not spam bots
I can’t wait for the 250 to be at the hpc project
Patience for few months, it's being erected at HPC as we speak (I'm there now to do a bit more of commissioning). Backmasts and part of 5400 tons counterweights are already on place.
Solo en este trabajo es donde demostramos que el hombre domina al mundo... podemos dominar monstruos como esos...saludos a todos los que amamos trabajar con las gruas....
Awesome!!!
Neat.
Wow, I would like to join your mission being one of you. please Suggest me how ? Should I learn truck mounted mobile crane or Crawler crane ?
Big crane in the world
Супер круто!
Interesting choice for counterweights. Shipping containers with the tops cut off and filled with sand...why not? 🤷♂️
im thinking the containers are also used for storage and shipping of parts for this crane
Metaballstudios brought you here as well!!!!
need one month to complete this giant crane
Nice
Beautiful
Hi, is this crane still here on site. Many thanks.
Yes, it is!
@@SarensCranes my father in law lives in the north east. Would there be any chance of a site visit.
@@neilspedding5880 no
That crane SGC 120 is the little brother of the sarens 250 that is called big Carl
Is this equipment built by Liebherr in Germany?
Sorry, SGC120 has Volvo Penta diesel-engines, SGC140 and SGC250 have Cat engines.
When you think about it....to built this one, they needed a big crawler crane. To assemble that thing you may also need another crane. Inception xD
i use this same exact crane to get out of bed in the morning
#IN THE EN

It would have been nice to see the result; the crane lifting whatever it was that it was assembled to lift.
Weight???
Difficult to hear due to background music.
The music reminded me of guga foods
I search for instrumen big carl
"One of the worlds most massthifth craneths." Nobody considered I second take? No?
Have fun trying to move it around 😅😅
The cost of that is about 1 millon to hire. X number of days to assemble then X number of days to disassembled.
Yyh

Hate to correct you that’s not the worlds largest crane the largest crane is the sarens SGC 250
The largest crane is the Taisun
@@catzzzz1450 i'am talking PTC 😃
that seems dumb, the lr 13000 can lift about as much and it can move, also much less time consuming to assemble! i dunno man
Not with a 130m boom...
@@lagresomadsl correct, the lr 13000 doesnt have a 130m boom! rather, it has a 144m boom, and a maximum hoist height of 236m. and also a 200m max radius.
still dont understand why ring cranes exist. they're pretty cool, though.
edit: sorry for late response, youtube only just now sent me the notification.
