How does it work with the service dog? I want mine to come but I don’t want to have to exclude myself or one of my party members just because we can’t take her on a ride. The person staying with the dog would have to miss being on the ride with the rest of our party.

I've watched HUNDREDS of Disney related videos.
Tim&Jenn Tracker, Disney Food Blog, WDW Couple, Mr. Cheezypop, Offhand Disney, Defunctland, Justin Scarred, Michael Kay, TPMVids, The Dis, Rob Plays, Fastpass Facts, and MUCH MUCH MORE!
And after a while, you start hearing the same facts, tips, and fun stuff over and over again. It's always entertaining, but it becomes more rare to learn something new.
But THIS is something that I've never heard anyone talk about, and honestly, I selfishly never thought what Disney's approach was.
This is easily one my favourite Disney park video's, and feel so happy to learn more about how the magic is being delivered to everyone!
I REALLY hope this video picks up steam and gains a lot of extra views. This one is very heart warming.

My mom had an accident at work a few years ago and injured her back all while dealing with a congenital heart issue and this past year had heart surgery. We’re planning to go to Disney soon and I’ve been extremely worried on how she’d handle being at Disney.
One problem we had was that she can’t walk or stay standing for extended amounts of time. This led us to want to rent an electric scooter for Disney however they can get really expensive.
This video calmed my worries immensely. I can’t thank you enough for allowing us to see just how those with disabilities are aided throughout Disney.

I have to say, your videos have been popping up on my feed recently and I finally started watching! I skipped this video a few times because I personally don’t know anyone with a disability that I’ve attended the parks with. However, after now watching this, it is SO eye opening. I’ve never once considered how much Disney goes above and beyond to make sure EVERY guest gets the same experience. I will definitely remember to practice patience and kindness in the parks now to everyone and learn to slow down :) thank you so much! There are so many Disney UA-camrs now but you stand above the pack

As a disabled dude whose hemophilia would prevent me from staying all day and enjoying lots of rides, I greatly appreciate the DAS pass. It makes Disneyland one of the few places in the world where I can enjoy a day as if I weren't a hemophiliac. It isn't perfect - I often have to argue to validate my condition to cast members who consider the DAS an "autism only" pass - but when it works, it really is magical. I probably wouldn't visit the park at all without one because my body just can't handle it, but thanks to the DAS, I can visit the park, enjoy attractions (except Matterhorn, which is a back breaker) and have a full and wonderful day at Disneyland. That means more to me than I could ever explain.

My son was born with physical and mental disabilities, suffering a stroke at birth. I was hit and ran over by a truck in 2011 leaving me with nerve damage. We are not as fast getting on and off rides. When we go to Disneyland, everyone treats us with kindness waiting patiently. They helped my mum and I get in and out of rides making it hassle free and easy which truly made our trip so much more enjoyable and memorable. I'm use to having to miss out on things because of my disability and at Disney I was able to ride the rides and just enjoy myself. I highly recommend going disability or not you will have a truly magical experience.

Last December we took our grandtwins for their ninth birthday. Our grandboy is autistic; his sister is not. We did not know about the DAS until our second of three days. The first day was SO HARD. He also has developmental dypraxia and was sitting down in lines when he got tired, causing people to give us dirty looks and us to be stressed out. So the next day, we rented a wheelchair for him, and the cast member told us about the DAS. It was a life changer! We were so grateful for return times and to be able to take the wheelchair into the queues! We will be taking them again in the spring. After that first day, I'm not sure we could have done two more days if that cast member had not been so helpful. THANK YOU for sharing this information. (And I totally cried.)

I remember getting stuck on almost every single ride. One time I Got stuck on the matterhorn, and a cast member helped walk with me from the tracks to the elevator. they can not help a disabled person because if something happened they could get in trouble but the cast member she didn't care she helped me which was really nice of her.

The one sad thing about having to use exits is you don’t get to experience the theming they create in the lines. The visual theming is actually just as important to me as the ride itself. It’s all part of the experience. This will be the first time visiting Disneyland with a mobility scooter. I have avoided Disneyland for 8 plus years due to a progressive genetic condition. I used to take each of my nieces when they turned 8. I have been terrified to go to Disneyland using a mobility scooter because of the horror stories I hear from other people with my disease. It’s an invisible disability so people will be really mean and assume you are fine. Some people even wear signs on thier wheelchair explaining thier disabilty. I suppose I could bring a sign incase I start experiencing mistreatment. I am going with a friend this time. I’m too worried to take a niece because I feel I will hold them back. I’m the adult and should be able to have the focus on them. I have always let my nieces choose everything on the trip, let them be in charge, but now I have limitations and I think it would ruin thier experience to be carefree. We would twirl and dance in the street and climb on things. Now we would be limited on what we could do and explore. With my friend I don’t see it being a problem. My nieces say it’s not a problem. Sadly turns out they are getting diagnosed with the same disease, but they are not at my stage yet.

This is such an incredible! Believe it or not, we use this system as well. Our host Jake and other members on the team use DAS and it truly does make a day at Disneyland more magical. It warms our hearts that you made a video on the channel about this system and how to use it. Just goes to show how amazing and inclusive Provost Park Pass is! You'll always be great friends to us! 😃👍

I don't have any physical disabilities in my family but my father shattered his foot just before a trip a few years ago and had to use a wheelchair (crutches would be exhausting and a scooter just wasn't convenient) and they were so sweet and patient with his unfamiliarity with a wheelchair.

I cannot give Provost Park Pass enough props for doing a video like this. Way too awesome to think of others that also would enjoy the Disney magic but might be otherwise discouraged to visit due to a disability. Thank you guys for your sensitivity on this topic. Another interesting topic would be explaining Disney’s procedures for a lost parent (they don’t say lost child).

Outstanding video! It reminded me of when my wife would go with her mother, who had ALS, and the CMs would let them in through the exits of the rides back in the mid 90's. It was hard back then so it's nice to see the park has made many great updates since.

Standing ovation in my opinion. I love watching your videos but this is beyond what words can describe and very helpful to know that Disneyland provides the best they can and for anyone and everyone that visits the park. Just goes to show it is the best place on earth. 🤟🏽

Thank you so much for making this video. I love all your videos and learn so much from them. So much interesting information. I love going to Disneyland and just recently I have been diagnosed with a condition that will not allow me to walk for a long time very easily. I was so scared I would t be able to enjoy my favorite park. Thank you! I now feel more confident that I’ll be able to still enjoy Disney!!
