Well, those therapists don't lie. They just skip over the other two reasons for hurtful behaviour, which is following an example (when your authority figures do stuff, you're likely to repeat after them and inherit the logic of their behaviour as a part of your worldview, especially when it is encouraged), and having your boundaries not set properly (meaning the boundaries of the world around you that you're supposed to respect. Children often do stuff out of a subconscious urge to know if they can or what will happen, which is actually normal, but if their hurtful behaviour goes unaddressed, they'll learn it as something they have the right to do).
So... yeah. One doesn't have to be hurt to hurt others-being failed is quite enough 🤪
Thats an odd quote. Teenage girls can be hurt people too, unless denying that wasn't the point and I don't understand the quote.

Idk why but it feels so Jawbreaker-coded to me, like they took the characters of Courtney and Fern from Jawbreaker and centred a movie about them, just updated the costumes but took a lot of the same inspiration
yes! this movie reminded me so much of Fern's gradual transformation from muted to more pink and then almost garish as she became power hungry

Ya but when I can’t recognize her face in different movies, I can still recognize based on her posture and mannerisms. It’s good to have a thing to stand out in your field. But I’m definitely not looking at the clothes when she’s standing like that.
