Good day to you Cyndi. I've been following you for a while. You have given some wonderful words of advice. I have been an Independent Contractor for over two years out of Minnesota. I do work under a host agency and absolutely love it. They have over 70 years of experence in travel and that comes in handy. To be able to pick their brain--so to speak. Luckily this host agency has team up with another company that has opened the door for more opportunities. As for our commission stucture, I am paid 80% of what the vendors pay (which is anywhere from 16% to 25%). Now I understand that having a host agency isn't for everyone, and that's fine. What got me to join is that history/knowledge that my host has. So thank you again for your material. God bless you.

Thank you for your detailed video on hosts!! Does an agent need a host to do a simple round trip ticket service for individuals? If yes, why while there are hundreds of them online like expedia, CheapOair etc? Many thanks for your help!!

I can't believe there are host agencies out there that will do what you said about training. That's where I am so grateful for mine. My host agency is 100% opposite than that. I consider myself lucky to have found them.
Thats wonderful to hear! Yeah, unfortunately, they are not required to offer trainings but it sounds like you found yourself a good one!

Hello Kerry, we do support agents in the UK as long as you’re already an established TA. The only program that’s not available is the newbie track, because the set up process is different in the UK. However so long as you’re established we can gladly accommodate you.
