As an Asian living in Asia, I do notice that baldness is not as prominent here compared to our Western counterparts. You get a lot of Western male celebrities who are bald, but you rarely find any celebrities here in Asia who are, especially East Asians. Having hair is very much a thing here.
But is that because Asian's are less predisposed to balding? Or is it that many of them care so much more, that more Asians go out of their way to fix or mask it?
Agreed but I want to specify that my family is from southeast asia and most of us have thick hair. Most of my (asian ofc) male relatives have their hair until they're in their late 60s-70s.
@@TheSixthSLoT East Asians *are* less genetically prone to balding than many other races; at least, they start balding later than their Caucasian peers. it would be extremely difficult to persuade a surgeon to put you on immunosuppressants for life for cosmetic reasons. so, no. in addition to this, hair follicles have a limited lifespan outside the body, and the longer they remain outside, the lower the chances of their successful transplantation. the viability of hair follicles diminishes rapidly after death, making it less likely for them to survive and grow after transplantation. so unless youre planning on murdering someone freshly before your transplant, its another no. youd also probably have to murder a close family member because transplanting hair from a deceased person would require finding a donor with a similar hair type, color, and texture as the recipient. these factors significantly impact the overall appearance and success of the transplant. matching these characteristics can be challenging, as they are influenced by genetic and individual factors. but lets say youre not a serial killer and manage to simply find a dead person with luscious locks.. well, be careful whatever they died of wont be transmitted to you during the hair transplant ! there really is a potential risk of disease transmission when using tissues or organs from deceased individuals. this risk is typically minimized through rigorous screening and testing processes for organ transplantation, however the same level of screening and testing may not be feasible for hair transplantation. plus, do you really have time for all that vetting when every second that passes is reducing the quality of the hair follicle ? good luck on your morbid mission

Can a person have a transplant from a deceased person ???
No lmao. It must be your OWN donor hair, otherwise the body will reject the new hair and fall out.
it would be extremely difficult to persuade a surgeon to put you on immunosuppressants for life for cosmetic reasons. so, no. in addition to this, hair follicles have a limited lifespan outside the body, and the longer they remain outside, the lower the chances of their successful transplantation. the viability of hair follicles diminishes rapidly after death, making it less likely for them to survive and grow after transplantation. so unless youre planning on murdering someone freshly before your transplant, its another no. youd also probably have to murder a close family member because transplanting hair from a deceased person would require finding a donor with a similar hair type, color, and texture as the recipient. these factors significantly impact the overall appearance and success of the transplant. matching these characteristics can be challenging, as they are influenced by genetic and individual factors. but lets say youre not a serial killer and manage to simply find a dead person with luscious locks.. well, be careful whatever they died of wont be transmitted to you during the hair transplant ! there really is a potential risk of disease transmission when using tissues or organs from deceased individuals. this risk is typically minimized through rigorous screening and testing processes for organ transplantation, however the same level of screening and testing may not be feasible for hair transplantation. plus, do you really have time for all that vetting when every second that passes is reducing the quality of the hair follicle ? good luck on your morbid mission
Nope, if you could get someone else’s hair then completely bald men that would already be too late, would be getting full hair transplant already
