That is the perfect best blend of both old and new tech and the styling is absolutely on point! If you're not going stock this is the way to do it. Bravo sir!
@@mayhemmike1789 Kawasaki made a 6 cylinder water cooled I think 1300cc bike to complete with the cbx. But they sold even less. I have read a article a few years back about some dozen cbx still in the crate been found and were getting auctioned off for like $50+ grand each
@been m8 would have to have a custom set made, dont think youd find a set to fit around that mahoosive engine. Being air cooled wouldnt help the cause either, would need lots of airflow. But, imho that engine is a masterpiece that was made to show off!!
Beautiful masterpiece! A true fan of the original bike spared no expense perfecting the weaknesses of the chassis/forks and thoroughly modernizing them. Brakes too. Stunning. That's a bike you never....ever...sell. Build a casket 4 feet wide 7 feet long and 6 feet high. Then be buried sitting on it!
I wish I had this bike. The pipes totally suit this bike's aesthetic orientation. That brutally handsome six cylinder testament to gearhead excess encourages the viewer to consider it as the most interesting sculptural part of the bike The more modernistic updates flow with its profiles to achieve an integrated whole.Using duals rather than 6 into 1 provides a symmetry that further melds the parts into a unified synthesis. Very nice. I would like to hear it thru the gears w/o that baffle!
Good looking machine. attention to detail and that chrome cover....only thing, I just think the "modern" head lamp looks a bit out of place on a cbx 1000, to me they look crap on most bikes. I guess it"s all about personal taste.
All Hondafans will take a Deep bow to Yours !!! Great Machine and perfectly Job !!! God bless ya All and stay healthy for ever of Yours !!! A big Hondafan from Straubing !!!!
OHHH that beautiful bike! My congratulations because it is a beautiful job done in it. A sound to go crazy with those 6 cylinders. Congratulations. I loved.
Jeetje, dit is werkelijk een fantastische Machine!! Super uiterlijk en wat loopt tie mooi rond met een mega-geluid!! Heel veel succes en veilige kilometers toegewenst ,groet Paulus uit Zwijndrecht.
This is the sexiest bike i have ever seen. Even my dream bike doesnt look as good as this beauty does. Thanks for sharing this great video of that awesome bike.
I have always been in love with the CBX, those bikes to me sort of set them selves apart when they first came out . Hiperthetically lets say you were to sell it what would you be asking ?
Smooth bike. Two wide at the head. The center cylinders suffered from heat related issues. My best friend/riding buddy for almost 50 years had three of these CBX. He had a 79,An. 80, and an 82. I put maybe 200 miles on the different machine says we would switch off on riding days. The first impression I had of the 82 CBX was this. It felt like I was sitting up on top of something rather than in it. I did not feel as though I was a part of the machine. I like the big tack and speedometer with the red glowing numbers.I don’t know if the pro link or whatever link rear suspension it had was better than the dual shock set up, but I never really pushed the machine. I had just retired from 8 years of road racing RDs, TZ‘s, and I never really raced The big machines. Although I did do a 24 Hour Rd. race that for riders shared a CB 750 single camp machine in the mid70s. During my years at the Road race tracks in the Northeast, I only saw one CBX. If you like high revving noise, that machine was a symphony. It won the race it was entered in at Nelson ledges, then we never heard from him again.. I remember the CBX is being pretty smooth, I also have the magazine from cycle with the red CBX on the cover. But within a month, it was no longer king of the hill. That distinction went to the Suzuki GS 1000 Chain Drtive And D throned as CBX after a single month as being the fastest superbike of those days.
I like that a lot a lot I was wondering about what it took to up grade to the modern style. I like what was done with the engine in the frame .Excellent work . Is it for Sale lol .
Why do people turn down the high idle instantly when starting a cold engine??? The purpose is to keep oil pressure up. You have a dyno chart on this engine?
It’s a thing of beauty. But if it were mine, id have a fairing on it - Rothmans Honda or Bol D’or HRC colours, perhaps. What’s the handling like with that lump sitting across the frame?
I am seriously considering doin this build my god I love this...now is the frame CBX or did you use the 1000rr frame somhow? And if its cbx frame how hard was it to fab up the swing arm and front end to that frame..I am dying to know some details after seeing your vid ive been lookin for a salvage 1000rr and a cbx is not easy to come by clean but it can be found...
Thanks for the information,I was wondering about what kind of set up that was but did not scroll down to see if anyone had posted a answer to that . Thank you kindly .
Good morning, could you tell me what you used swingarm on your CBX 1000, it was very pretty by the way, I enjoyed the work, very very beautiful machine..
Yes of course! The bike is beautiful. I just wanted to know which bikes that donated. Headlights is Kawasaki z750/z1000, that was the only thing i recognized. Nice build.

They have to start selling this bike again
Ya only fuel injected and a 6 speed...
@Nevermind pussy
Nevermind only in America it didn’t sell well because of those reasons. Rest of the world wasn’t afraid.
This time, make it water-cooled so it can reliably make some decent HP

Its nearly impossible to make a CBX sound bad.
This is a great looking exhaust system!
Properly the coolest CBX I've ever seen. Congrats with the great result...
Wow that 1000RR tail looks awesome on the cbx. You need a more aggressive front/headlight
+mrSabic _ both front and rear look great.
The headlight is like a hornet one

@been m8 A radiator?? Its an air cooled engine.
Need a flyby vid. This bike is known for its noise at full chat.

Mechanical horse for the afterlife, that's what archaeologists of the future would say.
Is there a build thread?.
That has to be one of the best looking cbxs I've ever seen
Hello, the truth is spectacular one and if not the best cbx congratulation.. ARGENTINA

This is incredible work indeed! The world is full of amazing talent.
Amazing sound and bike, congratulations. The sound without baffles is top!!
This is the by far the BEST CBX IN THE WOLRD!!!!!
Congrats to you guys building it. WOW
Geluid en styling 🥰🙏 Alles klopt gewoon. Zou deze ooit wel in het echt willen zien/horen
Wish i had a build list for what all this set-up has.
The original frame has been slightly modified where the swingarm with suspension is mounted. This is done by nicobakker framebuilding
Gotta love it. I personally prefer the dual exhaust setup like this one to the single. Nice bike.
Absolutely GORGEOUS CBX. Best I've ever seen. Would love to read about the build, if available, even if written in Nederlands... :)
One of the most unique and interesting motorcycles that I have ever seen. That is of course, after Cbxtacy's V12 CBX. Congratulations.
That thing looks like a monster! Beautiful!

Stacked 3in Leds
Just about to say the same ; personally I think it looks better on this machine than most , but an old school style headlanp would be a good look
That headlight is terrible
Have to agree. Still a beautiful looking CBX but you're right, the headlight is just not quite right.
All Hondafans will take a Deep bow to Yours !!! Great Machine and perfectly Job !!! God bless ya All and stay healthy for ever of Yours !!! A big Hondafan from Straubing !!!!
The cbx is painted now , it's the 2012 fireblade colour and a little HRC idea's.
you find the cbx when you scroll down a bit
That is THE sexiest CBX on the face of the planet. Great work.
Great job on the build! It's beautiful and sounds amazing
OHHH that beautiful bike! My congratulations because it is a beautiful job done in it. A sound to go crazy with those 6 cylinders. Congratulations. I loved.

A mota está linda!! Acho que o som com os abafadores não demonstra a verdadeira natureza do grande motor que tem.
Continuem com o bom trabalho!!

The front is taken from the gsr 750 suzi I think, right?
Why do people turn down the high idle instantly when starting a cold engine??? The purpose is to keep oil pressure up. You have a dyno chart on this engine?

mattias svensson cbx 1000 ?
That tail and that front hosing for lights are definitely NOT CBX 1000....
mattias svensson I have used parts of a Fireblade / Tuono/Dorseduro/Suzuki/Kawasaki/ Yamaha......
mattias svensson CBR1000RR, perhaps? Whatever he used, it turned out quite nice.
Yes of course! The bike is beautiful. I just wanted to know which bikes that donated. Headlights is Kawasaki z750/z1000, that was the only thing i recognized. Nice build.
Soo, this exhaust does make this lump into a race bike then....?
Dude- Ossum!!!!!!
Do I spot an R1 swingarm in the old Honda??
So wait is that a old cbx1000 in a new frame?
