The amount of differing replies here is why I felt this question was so interesting. All throughout the comments there are people who absolutely think it's a demon but just as many who think it's definitely an insane. Really interesting question imo :) Hope you guys enjoyed and I'll see you all on the 11th ;)
I really feel like Electrodynamix is a sort of introduction into demon levels. It feels like it's supposed to be a trial to see if you can handle a demon level. It would also make sense considering the placement of the level.
The problem with electrodynamic being “demon” is how easy the level gets between the first ufo and the 3x ship. If it was consistently the difficulty of the 3x part then it would definitely be demon
Always remember that levels SHOULD be rated based on their hardest sections. Like you could have an easy level, throw in an extreme demon section, and that level should be rated insane or easy demon.
I think the fact that electrodynamix is rated insane as opposed to demon motivates people to beat the level , something about that factor triggers a pshycological desire to beat the level
Yes this is true, when I was a kid I beat xstep and clutterfunk so naturally I thought I was capable of beating another insane electrodynamix. Electrodynamics being rated as it is definitely made me better tho cause once I played clubstep it was much easier than before
When I first bought the game many years ago Electrodynamix was the hardest level I've beaten. I gave Clubstep a couple of tries but there was so much hype around beating a demon and it seemed so much more difficult than the rest of the levels that I eventually gave up on it. Once I got a bit older I revisited the game, beat all of the demons and collected all of the coins. Now I think the demons weren't as hard as I initially perceived them to be so the rating definitely influenced how I viewed them when I was younger.
I feel like Electrodynamix (in my humble opinion) is in a weird sorta limbo area between Insane and Easy Demon. On one hand, it's difficulty is unparalleled to other insane levels such as Clutterfunk and Electroman Adventures, with no doubt in my mind it being the hardest of all the Insane levels. But, on the other hand. I feel it's difficulty doesn't quite match up to that of the demon levels we have currently. Of course, the similarities are there, but at the end of the day, I think we can agree that the gameplay in Electrodynamix is much easier and more forgiving than that of the demons. I'd say to solve this problem I think RobTop should add a difficulty in-between Insane and Easy Demon, the new name of this difficulty should be "Extreme". Not only is it fitting, being more, well, extreme than insane, if we rename "Medium Demon" to "Normal Demon" it would match up almost (since there's no "Harder Demon") 1:1 with the Demon Ratings. I think RobTop with this could also add a "Harder Demon" difficulty in-between Hard and Insane Demon, as over the past years with things like growing skill gaps and other catalysts like the Demon List, the skill gap between Hard Demons and Insane Demons is getting pretty big. All of this would make sense too, seeing as we can give "Extreme" a rating of 10*, then from there as the demons increase in difficulty, so do the star values increase by a factor of 1*; higher difficulty, higher reward. With the demons giving a star value above 10*, it gives them more power and feeling, more drive to complete them. Easy Demon = 11*, Medium/Normal Demon =12*, Hard Demon = 13*, etc.
Electrodynamix is kind of like one of those “Ten levels of difficulty” levels on steroids, the second half is usually a lot harder and the first part isn’t too hard, so it couldn’t be a demon
the 60% and 71% ships could probably be a medium demon imo, the 32% ufo is very hard to memorise, and the final ship is kinda painful, and you are right, the difficulty spikes way too much in the second half
from personal experience, most of clubstep isn't too bad with some practice and the vast majority of my deaths are past 66%. I feel a parallel between that and electrodynamix getting even harder past the 3x speed portal
for YEARS as a kid the only robtop levels i hadn’t beaten were the demons, and electrodynamix. i only beat it recently as an adult after 2.2’s release, it was easily on the level of a demon for me and i’ve always listed it alongside them as one of the hardest robtop levels
I also struggled with it but after more practice, it seems like easier now but I can say it's harder than the nightmare which is an easy demon, so I agree that it can be easy demon won't get past it
This level was the very first level I was introduced to Geometry Dash as a whole back then in 2016, and I LOVED IT, it got me hooked to the game. The amount of satisfaction beating Electrodynamix with the 3 coins was something I'll never experience it again, truly amazing. And I occasionally come back to it because I love the theme, the song and the difficulty, the level itself is like cheering for you to beat it. I know some people may hate it, but for me, it's one of my favourite levels in the entire game and holds a special place in my heart.
Honestly I’d like to see a video talking about all of the main level difficulty’s. Also the insane rating is so weird because everyone just wants anything remotely hard to be a demon. No one goes and says, “I’m gonna make an insane rated level today.” People need to remember the name of the difficulty, “insane.”
This. One of the issues with this community, remember when piss easy online levels would get 5 stars??? Like what the hell?? I'd call this issue "rating inflation"
The only concerns people have is if Electrodynamix should be Insane or Demon And also if Deadlocked should be Easy or Medium Demon. Past that, discussions for other levels isnt that much talked about.
An insane rated custom level in my opinion is just a failed demon. And no one wants to beat an insane level because they don't add up to your demon count. They are quite hard but aren't really worth it because there are Easy Demons, which reward more stars and demon count and aren't really much harder.
The hardest part of Electrodynamix for me, who was there when it first came out, was dealing with new speeds that we had all never dealt with in-game before up to that point. The 3x speed ship looked absolutely cracked until I had had time with the update. Nowadays it's really no issue. But it's phenomenal for preparing for what's to come in user levels
The thing about electrodynamix is that it’s super skill based, so now that I almost have an extreme done it seems like a very easy level compared to the demons, but I remember back when I sucked, being able to beat toe2 but not electro so I think its relative difficulty just depends on how good at the game you are if that makes any sense
Yes , I also notice that when I try to play easy demons and insane levels created by the community , some easy demons take me 20 attempts while some insane levels take me 50
The reason why I do believe electrodynamix should be a demon, is because RobTop insanes are usually learny, but easy once you understand the gameplay, RobTop demons have much more pure difficulty, like Electrodynamix. Some cube parts in Electrodynamix are literally harder difficulty, while the 3x ship parts belong in a hard easy demon, so I think, that Electrodynamix deserves a demon rating.
Same as a person who completed an insane demon, electrodynamix is super easy. Even so, Difficulty wise its much more comparable to clubstep than hexagon force, and clubstep is more comparable to electrodynamix than deadlocked. Pre clubstep, electrodynamix was very hard and i couldnt do it but after clubstep it didnt feel that hard
@@darkie1240 ngl i completed electrodynamix the day after i completed hexagon force, and i would've done it on the same day if i wasn't playing at midnight
I think if it ever gets an easy demon rating, then a few buffs to the easier sections would help solidify that rating. If not, than maybe lowering the rating of the easier insane rated levels would make sense
As a new player, I just beat Electrodynamix for the first time last week, and oh man, the other levels were nothing compared to its difficulty. Now it's time to practice for the first demons
mini analysis: i think the only reason people think electrodynamix should be a demon is because of the 3x speed, and the tight ship sections because the only other level that has 3x speed is Deadlocked, which similarly has tight wave sections
My theory: Robtop originally wanted Electrodynamix to be a demon, but he looked back, throught that 2 demons back to back would be a weird thing in general, and started buildnig much easier parts, than before. The reason why I think this, or something similar is true is because the ship sections, the UFO and the first cube in electrodynamix all belong in an easy demon, but the cube parts and the ball parts in the second half are much easier and belong in an insane.
@@filewr8515 nah the ufo parts are super easy, everything besides the ships are extremely easy, the ufo is just easy either memory or sight reading, either way it's easy
the "deceiving" stuff doesn't matter, you notice it in a few tries and then you can get over it. the "invisible" spikes and platforms are quite visible if you look ahead (which you should do if you want to react fast enough to what a difficult level throws at you). but the timing in Clubstep is much tighter than anything in electrodynamix.
Kind of shocked you didn’t mention the ship sections in clubstep with the gravity portals. In my opinion they are the hardest part of the level, especially for new players where the only experience with such gameplay is in cycles.
@@LPB19019 The portals in jumper are not placed in such a way that you have to change your height right after entering them, that's what I was referring to in cycles and clubstep
Electrodynamix never felt like a demon to me. I remember beating it when I was 9 before school, a time when I wasn't allowed on my phone, fluking the last ship. Clubstep and the other demons took a session to warm up and progress along with 3× attempts
I'm 12 and I only beat 11 of Robtops levels :( Edit:I BEAT PLATINUM ADVENTURE Edit 2:I beat the lightning road, demon mixed, the nightmare,Shiver,Demon step and What is it!!!! Are there any demons easier then what is it and shiver? I heard of Is by grenate but I suck at spider ._. I also beat 17 of the robtop levels
I believe that electrodynamix is not hard enough to be considered a demon. For me, the difficulty gap between it and Clubstep or ToE2 is quite significant, and those two levels are low to mid easy demons. Rating Electrodynamix as a demon would be like nerfing the very concept of a demon level. The thing here is that many of the insane official levels should be actually harders, with the exceptions of Electrodynamix, Hexagon Force, Clutterfunk, and maybe ToE (mainly because of the coins). In the other hand, Xstep, Electroman Adventures, Dash, and Fingerdash are not much harder than Cycles, which is a proper harder level. In conclusion, Electrodynamix is well rated as an insane level, being clearly the hardest of this difficulty among the official levels. It would be an epic insane, but not enough to be a demon.
i think instead of “insanier” it should be “extreme” because then people would think its weird. but if that difficulty ever comes thats what electrodynamix fits
I feel like it just depends on what people are good at, I personally do not think it is a demon, I easily completed Electrodynamix in one long session but Clubstep took me way longer to complete
As someone who enjoys the speed changes in GD I never tought Electrodynamix should be a Demon. It's just not hard enough. I suspect for most people, especially new players, what makes this level so difficult is the speed changes themselves. Before this point they did not exist, everything was normal speed and suddenly you are going twice or in some parts three times the normal speed. This can be very overwhelming at first but once you get used to it it's not that difficult. Should stay Insane it's not hard enough.
When I started beating all the RobTop levels in 1-2 att it just became harder for me to compare. If someone asked me which was harder I would probably say, "Their both easy, what's the difference?" And yet I still can't even beat a mere medium demon... I blame 10 fps
its kinda hard, but i think its not that crazy. the ship part is annoying but with practice its really not too terrible. i think insane is fair, and its actually a really fun level once you get used to it. xstep definitely isnt insane though lmao
I wouldn’t say it’s a demon level. While it has similarities it also is much easier to learn than the demons, and the difficulty doesn’t remain at a high level constantly like in the demons. It acts more of a bridge between insane and demon, giving players a taste of what a demon is like without being one.
My opinion: Electrodynamix should be a demon But then demons would need 5, 6 or 7 types, because that would make Electrodynamix an easy demon with like deadlocked being medium demon, The hardest part of Electrodynamix is 100% the 3x speed ship, if the whole level would be like that it would be a hard demon. But Electrodynamix isn't like Nine circles difficulty. Also Electrodynamix is nothing like levels like: Fingerdash, Clutterfunk, xStep, Hexagon Force and dash, also the reason I didn't include electroman adventures in the insane levels list because it should be a harder 7*, Electrodynamix demon rating if it turns into a demon, definitely is not insane/extreme demon. Hard demon doesn't make sense as well and medium demon doesn't make sense like like cant let go being Hard, so easy demon should be the difficulty of Electrodynamix, and speed changes if it had 4x speed it would be hard demon.
Something you missed is that electroman actually used to be harder but got re-rated to insane in 1.9. But i don’t really know if rob will do the same thing to electrodynamix or not
My opinion on what levels should be Sterio madness - Easy Back on track - Easy Polargeist - Normal Dry out - Normal Base after base - Normal Can't let go - Hard Jumper - Normal Time Machine - Harder Cycle - Harder Xstep - Hard Clutterfunk - Insane TOE1 - Harder Electroman Adventure - Harder Blast proccesing - Hard Hexagon Force - Insane Electrodynamix - Insane Fingerdash - Insane TOE2 - Demon Clubstep - Demon Deadlocked - Demon Geometrical Dominator - Harder
I think that electrodynamix is fine, but that certain levels (cough xstep cough TOE cough jumper) should be demoted to give a more accurate impression of how insane difficulty levels actually are Let me be clearer I know jumper isn't insane but I think it should be bumped down to hard instead of harder
I like your analysis-For me what sets the demons apart is all the reversed gravity ship sections and tight waves in Deadlocked. I almost feel like xStep should be Harder and then Fingerdash and Electrodynamix should be at opposite ends of the "Insane" range
I think they should make electrodynamix should be 13 stars, but could remain as insane. Then there would be a clear indicator that it is the hardest insane level.
The sad thing about Electrodynamix is that it is quite literally right in the middle between easy demon and insane. But I think that Electrodynamix is harder than a few easy demons (mainly the nightmare) so I think it should be a easy demon but it’ll definitely be an easy one
@@tastylemoncake It took me 10 attempts. Regular easy demons take me like 300 to beat. It is definately easier than for example clutterfunk, or even cycles
I think the biggest thing keeping it from being a demon is the fact that the expectation for the player at this point would be that invisible spikes etc are no longer as much of a challenge because you should have beaten clubs step by now. Or alternatively if you haven’t, it’s an easier version of clubstep to ease you in. I think it makes sense as an insane but also understand why some feel it should be a demon
The reason why I say electrodynamix is not hard enough to be a demon it because there's more part of the level that's easy for each difficulty and two parts are a demon as well, and there has to be plus the half of the demon part to be a demon. P-S:When I saw your video, back in 2023, while i was watching, I knew it's gonna be the joke that electrodynamix is a demon. So here my thoughts on the difficulty of electrodynamix, Sdslayer.
As someone who’s beaten Electrodynamix, but not one of the demons, it’s way easier than the demons. Insane is a good rank, but I won’t deny your opinion is decent, as it’s easily the hardest insane level
While your point makes sense using your metrics, something crucial about these levels that you missed is the sections that could stop them from being demons. The three demons all have relatively difficult gameplay all the way through (minus their first cubes,) whereas when Electrodynamix's easier sections could be in a 5*. While Electrodynamix would be a demon if the whole level was as difficult as its ship sections, it just isn't.
Also, the other insane levels you compare Electrodynamix to, like Xstep, should be rated 'harder' if Electrodynamix's difficulty is so different. While the Robtop levels' star ratings may not be equivalent to modern levels, their difficulty faces are.
This is actually a rlly good point. Also as for the Xstep thing, Xstep actually would fit pretty well with harder levels. (Especially since it’s noticeably easier than Cycles)
@@GemDuster Xstep is not easier than Cycles, both require different abilities like triple spike jumps or tighter flight. Considering everything about them, they end up as similar, same applies to Time Machine.
@@GDStriker For me ToE 2 was the hardest and Deadlocked was the easiest, but I know it's a skillset thing (I suck at ship and for some reason never got consistent at the 2nd and the last ship in ToE 2. I'm also good with wavespam, and I kinda fluked Deadlocked from 60% after overpractising the dual wave)
imo, clutterfunk is on par with difficulty with electrodynamix also, while elctrodynamix does use the same stuff as the official demon levels, they aren't as hard as the demon ones. Of course while the tight timing gameplay mostly makes up for it, a lot of insane levels made by the community that seem like demons but are not (COUGH COUGH FIRE AURA COUGH COUGH (its harder difficulty, actually, but you get my point)) and clutterfunk has some tight gameplay too, with fakes and whatnot (i dont remember about fake floors though) but yeah, i dont think electrodynamix is worthy of a demon rating. its hard, but not deadlocked, ToE2, clubstep hard.
Honestly electrodynamix gameplay is really fun, especially when you get the flying parts down. Outside of the ship sections the level isn’t that tricky.
In my opinion Electrodynamix is just a 9 star in the rated levels list in 2023, like, you see a lot of insane levels that are as hard as demon, but still rated insane for some reason.
Absolutely I agree with the points you made and enjoy the video but I would still politely disagree and say that while it is close to a demon difficulty (and without a doubt is demon if you compare it to some of the easy demons that are made by the community, but obviously this is just comparing it to the other main levels) I still would say it falls just short.
Electrodynamix is the first GD level where I felt the need to actually *grind* it. Finally completing it after the 4-spike Jumps at the end killed me so many fucking times felt so freaking good.
I didn’t know that Electrodynamix was that close to demons. I think the traits that the demons have is a lot more subtle in Electrodynamix. Also the difficulty itself doesn’t hold up to what people consider as demons. I’m also really consistent with it, which I haven’t gotten to yet for demons.
I think electrodynamix is more like an unbalanced 9 star since there are a lot of easy parts and is also too hard for an average easy demon. even though the last 3 ship parts are pretty hard for insane difficulty, if the whole level was like that difficulty, then it would be a demon. Edit: 40 likes lol
the 60%, 71% and end ship i think could all classify as hard as a medium demon, but i’ve never beat anything harder than the lightning road so i’m probably wrong
@@GDMacHInE compared to what players make today for an easy demon, i'd go as far as to say this is insane, because honestly, like 80% easy demons out there have tighter flying sections than this
I'm definitely biased because ship is my best gamemode by far, but the ufo section is the hardest part of the level for me (or maybe the quad spikes at the end).
For all my teen years I played all the levels without using the practice tool and I could never beat Electrodynamix (or any other demon obs) but electro is the one that I was always closer to complete
Electrodynamix's difficulty just comes from the speed of the ship, an element of the game that people have trouble mastering at the beginning. Once you do & you play on higher refresh rate, Electrodynamix is just a simple insane.
@@eitherFiberoOrFiberoEven in easier levels, 240 or 360 fps makes ship and wave parts trivially easy compared to 60 fps because everything’s so responsive. Timings also become easy. On harder levels like insane or extreme demons, higher fps just makes a significant difference that you can’t properly understand if you don’t use the fps bypass and/or have an input (mouse, keyboard, sayodevice, etc.) with low input delay. Hope this helps!
@@eitherFiberoOrFibero Now in 2.2 the physics are 240 fps for everyone, even though of course you can't see the 240fps in a 60hz screen, but it definitely makes things way more responsive compared to if the physics where 60fps even if you can't see them.
I remember the first time i beat electrodynamix, and it was initially very hard for me. But after almost two years or so, I didn't find the gameplay of electrodynamix hard anymore, probably because I have completed over 160 demons, including Electrodynamix v2 by Neptune. I don't think Electrodynamix will change to a demon anytime soon, because when new players start to get better at the game, they would start thinking that Electrodynamix won't be that hard for them anymore. Of course this is just my opinion
Maybe Im pretty Late but, My Last Completion Robtop levels is actually Electrodynamix because Its very Hard than Robtop Demons. Maybe Electrodynamix has a pulsing BG and too much Pulse with Player Color that make me very hard to see the Gameplay and of course the Speed make the level Hard too because you need to see what's will come in front of you and you must remember the way of the level. And the last one is probably ship maybe? Because I play on mobile 60hz before so yeah... In my opinion this level is way harder than ToE 2, if ToE 2 Doesn't have Ship at 79% (Sorry bad English... Im Indonesian :V)
While I do think Electrodynamix should get a rerate to Demon, I don't think it will given how RobTop Demons are handled in-game. There's the secret coin requirement, which could just be 15, fitting perfectly between Clubstep and TOE2's coin requirements, but the actual issue is that Electrodynamix immediately comes after Clubstep in the level order, and it seems that Rob likes to have at least 1 or 2 levels inbetween each new Demon. Now Rob could just throw these issues in the trash and make Electrodynamix a free access Easy Demon, but that'd be really weird and I don't see it happening.
I played GD as a kid and couldn't clear more than the first three levels and recently, several years later i gave it another try and in no time I had practically finished the free version. I went from stereo madness to electrodynamix in 2 months and while it's clearly harder than other insane levels I completed it fairly rapidly thanks to most of it being easy memory work. On the other hand i still find clubstep to be on a complete other level and didn't even clear a third of it in a run yet. So while I do think it is the hardest insane level, in my opinion it's not as hard as a demon for sure
I feel like since there tends to be a discrepancy with user-created ratings and official level ratings, levels like clutterfunk would realistically be rated as a ~7-8 star while electrodynamix would be a high 9 star. Not quite demon, but certainly a difficult challenge nonetheless.
There's an old online lvl from (I think) 1.9 that's called invisible TOE and well... It's literally an exact copy of TOE but made with "invisible" transparent blocks and it's rated hard 4-5 lmfao
For me, Electrodynamix was pretty hard, but after some practice, you get used to it. Although the mini-ship is hard, it is only two sections at triple speed. In fact, it took less attempts for me to beat this level compared to hexagon force.
Controversial options: Xstep, Fingerdash, Cant Let Go,and Electroman Adventures should be Harder Base after Base should be Normal Jumper should be Hard Geometrical Dominator should be Insane Electrodynamix should be demon
When I first beat electrodynamix back in 2020, it was insanely difficult and I would say it would’ve been a demean back then but now, it kinda just fees like an easy insane or just a hard Harder difficulty
That's just a dumb take, when compared to the rest of the official levels it's the hardest insane level, and objectively much more difficult than any of the harder levels
This is an impossible question. On one hand, it took my 800 attempts (same as Hexagon Force) while Clubstep took me 3000. On the other hand, it took my nephew 3000 attempts (Hexagon Force took him under 1000), and Clubstep took him 4000. Imo, it's an insane, in his opinion, it's a demon.
Would like to point out: I have 57 attempts on Clubstep, 149 attempts on ToE 2, and nearly 300 attempts on Deadlocked. I have 523 attempts on Electrodynamics.
Personally I always found clutterfunk to be harder, it was the last insane I beat as a kid. Maybe thats just because I for some reason perform BETTER at high speeds.
No. Not a demon. Insane fits perfectly because it’s not a level you can always just beat in one go, and it’s not a level you have to spend hours to master after you’ve already beaten it once. This is the meaning of an insane difficulty level. The coins are fairly easy to grab, and it’s mostly about reaction time and not demon-level “hidden objects” and “split routes”. Just my take.
I think that keeping the insane rating for electrodynamix and letting it keep the title for being the hardest official insane level is probably the best. i get that the ufo and ship is definitely a big step up compare to other insane levels, but other parts like the cube and the ball is pretty manageable, plus i think some people in the community will say that electrodynamix being demon is too generous of a rating.
SAME DUDE Just bought the full version of GD and I’m trying to beat all the main levels. Honestly after Electrodynamix I might try my first easy demon-
@@oversizeddoorhandle4214 Clutterfunk is very inconsistent when it comes to difficulty. First cube could be in a harder level, final cube could be in an easy demon
What you need to do now to get even more foundation is to compare Electrodynamix to the Insane levels as well. Looks for similarities and differences that makes Electrodynamix harder (or easier is some sections probably) to the other insane difficulty levels. This is already a solid foundation of how Electrodynamix is very... Demon-like, shall we say. But you can take it into consideration to get an even better idea of what Electrodynamix is like as a level compared to others.
Honestly, step one is just returning Electroman Adventures to a harder. Then the pattern of having a harder before every demon gets to exist. Also, it would eliminate the weird disparity of difficulty in sands have. Electrodynamix feels significantly easier to me than Clubstep, ToE2 and Deadlocked. Putting it on the same level feels wrong.
As someone who beat those 3 demons and electrodynamix, the demons are definitely much more challenging. I feel like the demons require more precision throughout the entire stage, whereas electrodynamix kinda feels like you get some breaks (plus the start is much easier than the start of the 3 demons). And as difficult as the ship part is in electrodynamix, it's just not on the same level as the ship parts in the demons. But for an insane level, it definitely is a reality check compared to the others of its difficulty
Myrrh the demon levels are significantly harder than the electrodynamix. The other insane levels that are kids easy like finger dash should really get bumped down more than anything
@@jhaybee5960 eh it just dosent feel on the same level as clubstep, toe2 and deadlocked its much easier than all of them. I think the problem is we have way too many insane levels and all of them feel very different in difficulty so we just gotta fix that

As much as so many things about it act like an official demon, the difficulty really doesn't. Most of the "insane" official levels are pathetically easy compared to most insane user levels, but the official demons, such as Clubstep, fit right in with the Easy Demon category. I played and beat a level called Thermodynamix by Dambrearon, which is absolutely harder than or as hard as Electrodynamix, and it is rated 9 star, but compared to other 9 stars it is basically free. Electrodynamix is barely an 8 star, let alone a demon. It is, however, a huge step up in difficulty from other Insane official levels.
6:59 There's also a fake platform on the ground similar to the ones in clubstep's ball part. It isn't as convincing as the clubstep ones, but it's still designed to look like a real platform (same decoration, but without the highlighted lines) to trick the player into falling through it and dying.
I personally see parallels but something that isn’t mentioned is that the Demons are difficult through out the entire thing when electrodynamics only starts at the ship.
The amount of differing replies here is why I felt this question was so interesting.

Bro I felt this. This level literally motivated me to get better at ship. Now it is currently my best gamemode and my hardest is nerf this lol
Honestly I’d like to see a video talking about all of the main level difficulty’s. Also the insane rating is so weird because everyone just wants anything remotely hard to be a demon.
Same as a person who completed an insane demon, electrodynamix is super easy. i think the only reason people think electrodynamix should be a demon is because of the 3x speed, and the tight ship sections because the only other level that has 3x speed is Deadlocked, which similarly has tight wave sections
My theory: Robtop originally wanted Electrodynamix to be a demon, but he looked back, throught that 2 demons back to back would be a weird thing in general, and started buildnig much easier parts, than before.

It should add a new difficulty “Insanier” that could fit electrodynamix
Or make it a first easy demon which is probably easier than a demon

As someone who enjoys the speed changes in GD I never tought Electrodynamix should be a Demon. It's just not hard enough.
I suspect for most people, especially new players, what makes this level so difficult is the speed changes themselves. Before this point they did not exist, everything was normal speed and suddenly you are going twice or in some parts three times the normal speed.
This can be very overwhelming at first but once you get used to it it's not that difficult.

If you want to rank it based on the custom level rankings i’d give it a 9 star rating
Electrodynamix was hard but for some reason Hexagon Force has been a major roadblock for me whereas I got electro decently fast.
Something you missed is that electroman actually used to be harder but got re-rated to insane in 1.9. But i don’t really know if rob will do the same thing to electrodynamix or not

I like your analysis-For me what sets the demons apart is all the reversed gravity ship sections and tight waves in Deadlocked. I almost feel like xStep should be Harder and then Fingerdash and Electrodynamix should be at opposite ends of the "Insane" range
fingerdash is arguably easier than cycles if you know how all of its mechanics work

@@eitherFiberoOrFiberoEven in easier levels, 240 or 360 fps makes ship and wave parts trivially easy compared to 60 fps because everything’s so responsive. Timings also become easy.
Now it isnt hard, but the robot part at about 50% in deadlocked feels incredible to play.

*yes*
0:54 Bro turned into Vsauce for a second there
I played GD as a kid and couldn't clear more than the first three levels and recently, several years later i gave it another try and in no time I had practically finished the free version.
I beat all robtop levels, but exagon force i cant 🤡🤡
@@byjatpgameri beat clubstep and electrodynamix but not hexagon force😭
I call blasphemy
As a kid, I remember beating club step first before beating electrodynamix
Controversial options: Xstep, Fingerdash, Cant Let Go,and Electroman Adventures should be Harder
Base after Base should be Normal
Jumper should be Hard
Geometrical Dominator should be Insane
Electrodynamix should be demon
When I first beat electrodynamix back in 2020, it was insanely difficult and I would say it would’ve been a demean back then but now, it kinda just fees like an easy insane or just a hard Harder difficulty
That's just a dumb take, when compared to the rest of the official levels it's the hardest insane level, and objectively much more difficult than any of the harder levels
@@brendanmueller1811 well in my opinion it’s just not that hard
This is an impossible question.
On one hand, it took my 800 attempts (same as Hexagon Force) while Clubstep took me 3000.
On the other hand, it took my nephew 3000 attempts (Hexagon Force took him under 1000), and Clubstep took him 4000.
Imo, it's an insane, in his opinion, it's a demon.
yeah the fact that its such a hard thing to definitely answer is why i think its an interesting question
it took me 200 attempts compared to 8000 for clubstep somehow
Love the video concept, but no. Maybe if the second cube section was MUCH harder.
Would like to point out: I have 57 attempts on Clubstep, 149 attempts on ToE 2, and nearly 300 attempts on Deadlocked. I have 523 attempts on Electrodynamics.
I’d say no. I found it easier than both Hexagon Force and Fingerdash.
What
How did you find it easier-
Huuuuuhhhhh
Controversial but very true
Sometimes i cant even get 80% on stereo madness, but right after i beat fingerdash first try. 💀
2:31 also requires you to memorise the click pattern. Without a double click after the first monster the part is impossible.
Plus, changing it to a demon would mess up a lot of things in the game
like what lol@@reinbew794
Hexagon forces harder
@@robbe8625 it’s not ur just bad
@@thecomet653 bro electrodynamix is one of the easier levels and totally not hard at all
Currently trying to beat electrodynamix so this video is perfect
SAME DUDE
Just bought the full version of GD and I’m trying to beat all the main levels. Honestly after Electrodynamix I might try my first easy demon-
@@GemDuster yeah currently sitting at 100 hours after a month and bro Clutterfunk is an easy demon
@@oversizeddoorhandle4214 Clutterfunk is very inconsistent when it comes to difficulty. First cube could be in a harder level, final cube could be in an easy demon
i fluked like most of the last cube but thats just my random luck like how i fluked deadlocked from 75
What you need to do now to get even more foundation is to compare Electrodynamix to the Insane levels as well.
How are the ship parts in electrodynamics hard?
@@robbe8625
Fast, mini, tight, why would they *not* be hard?
Electrodynamix is 100% insane but the problem is theres to many harder difficulty insane levels
Which makes it Demon :)
@@jhaybee5960 eh it just dosent feel on the same level as clubstep, toe2 and deadlocked its much easier than all of them. I think the problem is we have way too many insane levels and all of them feel very different in difficulty so we just gotta fix that
@@Silds. Its much easier than all THEM? U know I beat that 3 official demon level without finishing or beating Electrodynamix because of its difficulty and the gameplay and actually I find Clubstep and ToE2 much easier than Electrodynamix.
@@jhaybee5960 i mean its just my opinion and i think electrodynamix dosent have harder gameplay than the demon its just more annoying i cant really say tho since i beat deadlocked before: clutterfunk, hexagon force, electrodynamix, clubstep and toe2
@@Silds. It does bro it does especially the 3x speed makes it demon and the 7:01 of this video and the last ship part.
The right order (most difficult to least): Deadlocked > Theory of Everything 2 > Clubstep > Electrodynamix (if we rate it as a demon)
I’ve always thought Electrodynamix should have had 13 stars
Lol
Idk what you are saying. I fluked the end😅.
