I have both aavas, home first past few months also BOB, tvs motor, itc and Olectra green average is more than 100% gains but i only invested 10k in each share
I’m holding Aavas, but I got aware of it only because of you, I was also planning to buy aptus, but it suddenly shed 9% in one day last week, but it’s recovering now. I feel Aptus profits margins are very much higher than all among other companies. I’m am planning to buy aptus too
Have invested in Aavas about a year back at 1950 levels and further added at 1360 levels . Hope to see it move above 2000 levels in the next 9-12 months considering the hsg finance market growth against falling interest rates from q2-q3. Only need to know more about what kind of technology employed by different companies in terms of faster turnaround and how they evaluate their clients for loan sanctioning
During credit boom all the home finance companies are talked about... During the last cycle it was DHFL that was the favourite of all.. Which went bust.. The history repeats itself.. Will wait and watch how many of these companies survive.
My preferred pick is APTUS as I am watching their business style closely...they are more conservative like Mufugappa group...doing due diligence before giving loans to small businesses...Now they are expanding to Telangana and Karnataka...they are slow but steady
I'm surprised that preference was Homefirst more than Aptus. Aptus has a much higher spread, lower NPA and very concentrated customer base. Collections is efficient when you are concentrated. Homefirst is wide spread and has the lowest branches count, which is also resulting in thier NPAs. From Pricing as well, Homefirst is close to all time high, while Aptus is available at a discount from all time high. Although Aptus has a Small business loan side, i think they have proven themselves to be more efficient.
Aptus is only in south india. Its not easy for a south indian co to expand in north. Also, it has higher cost of borrowing and higher exposure to microfinance sector that has higher risk of default.
My preferred pic is Aptus then Home first. Aptus can generate huge wealth if it's leverage is around 3-4. Aptus can grow for a decade without raising any capital.
I am holding GIC Housing Finance, currently available at Rs. 180 with an EPS of Rs. 40 in 2023. It is highly undervalued in comparison with above 3 shares. Please do your own research before investing your hard earned money.
Sahil, great analysis. Holding home first and Aawas. Analysis of Asian Paint, Berger Paints with two small & mid cap Sirca Paint and Indigo Paint is my request
Hi sir, big fan of your comparison analysis. Pls analyse sectors Like Defense, Power , Textile, NBFC, Dairy, Auto ancillary, speciality chemicals, Fertilizers, small cap IT sector, Telecommunication, QSR, Banking ,PSU ,fmcg, capital goods ,travel and tourism, logistics etc
WHY THAT HAWA FINANCE NOT PERFORMING ? WHERE IS THE PROFITS IN THE SCREENER ? GOING . STOCK PRICE FOLLOWS THE PROFIT BUT HERE IT IS REVERSE . I EXITED DUE TO FRUSTRATION CAPITAL BLOCKED HERE .
Nice comparison I would request you to please have a comparison between Gujarat Flourochemical and SRF as both are working on much important chemical that is Flourochemical
Surprise video release, thanks for sharing your thoughts, I’m a investor in these three companies after done my analysis, my order of choice is 1.Aavas, 2.Aptus, 3.Homefirst.
Dear Sahil, Can you please research Focus Lighting and Fixtures and create an analysis video for us. It seems to have immense potential. It will be great to have your views
Dear Sahil Homefirst saw huge selling in Sept22 by FIIs and mass buying by retail investors. Although now it is decreasing slowly but could you please comment on the reason for this steep selling by foreign investors in this stock during last year.
yes brother i have bought AaVas and i have not sold it till now..... because of your view...😢i missed newgen .... i didn't want to miss Aavas 😊😊😊. so holding
Fantastic as always, I had invested in Aavas Financiers after considering inputs in your recent video and happy to see it performing well in a matter of 3 weeks. The slides, sector background, comparative analysis and the art of reading through the numbers are the very best.👏I have a question on Aptus, would it's valuations shrink once we have the upcoming supply of IPOs of Small & Micro finance banks like Utkarsh Small Finance Bank, ESAF etc..what would happen if they in future start operating in Affordable housing? Will the present growth rates on ROE, ROA, CAGR continue?
Great video. My investments are in Aavas in HOMEFIRST. I am looking to increase positions on both, although I think in the short term Aavas is going to give better returns. But my long term bet is on Homefirst- smaller market size and higher growth rate. NPA will be further reduced in due course.
I am not agree with your argument that large bank interested only for loan of big ticket size. In my knowledge there are people who taken home loan starting from 10 lakhs from HDFC and ICICI Bank.
Hi sahil, I have taken entry in aavas this April. As you said choosing one among three good companies with similar future potential is a tricky choice.your analysis is excellent.

they have 1 branch in Orissa also
Also would like to add that for Aptus there is a succession planning risk.

LIC housing finance is trading at very cheap valuation. But growth in last 5 year is low. What is your opinion on that considering good management
Wonderful analysis Sahil
Keep making such comparative videos across sectors
👍👍👏👏👏👏
I am not agree with your argument that large bank interested only for loan of big ticket size. In my knowledge there are people who taken home loan starting from 10 lakhs from HDFC and ICICI Bank.
Also at low interest rate of 8-10% or at PSU banks.
Please make a similar video on NBFCs like Bajaj finance, Chola mandalam, Sundaram finance etc
Don't agree with recommendations. Aptus is way more stronger bet than other two considering their focus and mix, it's severely undervalued as well
Hi sahil, I have taken entry in aavas this April. As you said choosing one among three good companies with similar future potential is a tricky choice.your analysis is excellent.
Awesome, crisp, effective and quality information
