Corgi renovation MG B GT No. 327. Year of production 1967. Cast model toy.

In 1967, Meetoy produced the MG B GT model. The toy had an opening door and a tailgate. As usual, the toy has gained great popularity among children. You can turn on subtitles in your language with the action commentary in the video. Its headlights were made of crystals and it also had very nice spoked rims. My copy was complete, but I had to spend some time with it. In order for the model to regain its splendor, I made new tires from molding polyurethane, changed the painting to a maroon metallic color, replaced the headlight crystals with new ones and polished the windows. I also made a reproduction of the box so that the model was complete. Thank you for watching the movie, I publish videos with the repair of cars on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

I once owned a real one of these cars (in British Racing Green) and it never looked as shiny as this 😂. My only complaint is that the badge decal is at least 3 or 4 times too large. Otherwise, another perfect job 👍🏻

I can still remember the MGB well.
Like many other Corgi models, it remained a dream for "little Paul" back then.

Hallo, lieber Paul, wieder eine top Restaurierung. Ein kleiner Tipp: Nach dem Verchromen der Speichenräder einmal kurz darüber pusten, dann verklebt die Farbe auch nicht die Speichen (3 oder 4 Speichen im oberen Bereich sind leider zu gemalt). Auch sollte man die Karosserie nach dem Grundieren noch einmal leicht mit 800er Schleifpapier reinigen, dann entstehen auch keine (Staub-) Pickel beim Lackieren. Leider sind sie auf der Motorhaube und dem linken Kotflügel (kurz vor der Tür) zu sehen. Vielleicht sind sie auch durch das Absetzen der Sprühpistole entstanden? Immer komplett in einem Zug lackieren, dann entstehen auch keine (Staub-) Pickel und der Lack glättet sich perfekt. Dies ist keine Meckerei, sondern nur ein Tipp. Viele Grüße und weiter so.

Ich versuche sie umzusetzen, leider gibt es bei dieser Art von Modellen technologische Mängel an Gussteilen, die ich nicht immer vollständig beseitigen und erkennen kann. Die Speichen bläst er nach dem Lackieren. Was Sie im Video sehen, ist leider ein Gussfehler, bei dem die Speichen nicht ganz frei von Restmetall sind. Mit freundlichen Grüßen
