Look under 'Ball Link Pliers". These are awesome tools to remove and replace ball links.
Ball link pliers, used for RC helicopters
Go ahead Nate, you flew that RC JET like you were in the cockpit! Great video!
Thanks a lot my friend!! 👍💯😎⚓️
Nate and Abby, I bought this one through your link on 9/16. Thanks for the discount code! love this plane.
Great video, Going to maiden this birk in 1 week
Love this review and all of the variety you do on your channel, top notch!
Nate, sounds like you need a set of Ball Link Pliers.
Amazing flyer, awesome review & great camera work!
Abby and Nate, y'all rock! Love the channel and content. Peace
Really proud of you brother for stepping up your aviation game in the last 6 months.
Greetings. Yes, there is a special tool for the ball links. I bought one years ago for my heli's. They work amazing
Late late squad today and that’s one sweet jet 🛩️ happy flying all 😊😊😊😊😎😎😎😎⚓️⚓️⚓️🎊
That’s a beautiful jet! Another great video guys!
I'm really loving that jet. Just may have to get one & put a Spektrum as3x & safe receiver in it. Excellent review & flight Nate & Abby!! ⚓️ 😊
Nate, it’s Abbys turn!
Let’s see Abby fly something next time please.
I think my ball link.pliers are Dubrovnik or maybe sullivan...I love that you like Tactic radios...I love mine...your videos are informative humorous and just plain great...ignore the naysayers...you can't please everyone no matter what...😊❤❤❤
Excellent flying and very nice plane ✈️!😀
The jet sounds really nice
So awesome!! It sounds and looks great!!
That thing sounds really cool!
Awesome jet nate my buddy uses a prop removal tool for tiny whoops to help pop those ball joints off😁✌🏽
Literally just got home from the maiden on mine lol. Great jet
Whoo😮 cool rolling and flips ❤❤👍
Aweaome review and flight I love fms RC vehicles and looks like they do very well in the planes I bet Nate a 3500 to 3700 would fit perfectly.
And that ball coupler ,I always use needle nose pliers and grab the connectors on the shaft section and twist it to roll off the connector from the ball joint. Saves the fingers 😅😅. Oh yeah I miss Abby my bash Queen ❤
Great channel. You will hit a million subscribers. Love your channel. Kudos
Losi made a fork looking tool that came with their kits from back in the day, one end had the wrench to adjust length and one end had the fork to pop those suckers off.
That looks so cool!!!!!
Sounds vicious when doing a fly by! I definitely wanna buy a couple planes
FMS is cranking out some real nice planes. Not just the foam parts. But, the gear, servos and linkages all hold up well in my experience.
As far as the Reflex V2, I'm not sure I ever would've put my PA18 1.3m in the air without the auto leveling. It's not overly restricting like SAFE can sometimes be. It helps me with confidence while jerking my plane through tight quarter bush flying.
My $0.02 worth, anyway 😊
Great video, Saylors. Thanks for sharing part of your day with us 👍
Nice shots of the plane on the tarmac :-)
A really nice lookung jet. The finish is not perfect but that's a fun project by itself.
Brian’s RC had someone send him a tool for popping of those pushrod ball joints. So I believe there definitely out there.
I just assembled the Eflite 2.1m Cessna 150T. Same deal with adjusting the links. They recommend the ball link pliers from Blade BLH100. I really don't like popping them off either. I'm always afraid I will break them. Keep up the great videos and content!
Took a screenshot of your recommendation, Thank You!! 👍💯😎⚓️
Nice one. I lack a place to fly that one. Ball link pliers is all I found. BVM jets did have clevis pliers but they are not available now. Back when I built my own planes I never used the trims but rather I would correct the plane with weight and engine alignment. What I found was that it would need different amounts of trim at different speeds which was not good. If I could keep all flaps level and get it flying straight then it was a really easy plane to fly. I would pull vertical on a still day to determine if I needed to change the engine angle. I guess that is not possible with ducted fans. The best flying plane I ever had was a stick design. It was fast and aerobatic but landed slower than any trainers at the field. It also glided further than any others if it was out of fuel.
I just started flying the rtf warbird corsair and I'm so glad it's got the beginner mode because I don't think I'd be able to fly with out it😂
As far as ball links, depending upon the size, I use the AE RTR shock tool to pop them off.
If I had better eyesight, I would join the aviation crowd. So I have to keep with the cars
The Viper Aircraft ViperJet is a really interesting jet, in that it is one of the few GA aviation kit jets that are available today. Yes, you can build your own full scale Viper for "only" ~$600,000 USD, with a build time in excess of 3,000 hours. VIper Aircraft have sold 21 kits, with 7 being completed and registered as airworthy. The name is also somewhat confusing, since the latest version of he F-16 Fighting Falcon is also called the "Viper".
This is so cool i mith pick it up😊
Awesome!! 👍😎💯⚓️
NIIIIICE 👌🏻
Hey guys! I know this is a bit off-topic for this video, but if you haven't heard of it before you should check out the HOVERAir X1 drone. :)
My favorite viper so far 👍... Can't afford it at the moment.. how much ya sellin it used 😉 ?
It wasn't until this paint scheme that I realized how much it resembles the f20 , which is a great jet!
waooowww.... amaziiiiiing👍
Like the L/G!
I bought one today :)
Awesome! If you happened to buy yours using our link, our family sincerely thanks you! Happy Flying 👍💯🙏😎⚓️
Looks like more of a Wolverine Viper than a Mountaineer Viper to me. But, eye of the beholder and all of that, i suppose 👍
Check out the FiftyTwoEighty Blue Light Simulated Afterburner they are a step above the competition.
Nice clip.
Can you shave off a little styrofoam under the front of the cockpit to get it to fit better with the larger battery?
Again. Nice clip you two 🌻
You can. Someone else got a 5000 in there but you will have to slide it a lot farther back than he had it. In fact every UA-cam video I watched on this plane has the battery farther back in general. My CG has it a couple of inches to the back.
LOVE EDF jets...they sound so cool!! Kinda like everything about it!! Sweet MAIDEN flight Nate, now it's ABBY'S turn!! BTW: Need a tool to remove those thingies... try the little LEGO removal tool, I use one as a multi tool!! Thanks Saylors for sharing your experience and FUN and honest review!! 💟👍😘
You must have the AMA insurance so have you ever used it to pay for your crashes?
Hello. I really enjoy your videos. I clicked on the link in the description for your merchandise and it’s not working. Just wanted to let you know.
Hey fellas had NEWBIE question lol, im looking at getting this jet and I am curious can i just buy a Flysky 6channel transmitter with reciever & plug and play? Thank you so much if you get to this, looking at taking to the skies!!
Yes, any six channel will work fine, gyro optional , doesn’t really need it.
Yes, ball link pliers. Ask any heli guy… he probably has a couple layin around.
actually this is the problem with FMS the install sheet metal type of screws, if you undo them they will not going back correctly because the plastic is coming with the screw, and is not a reliable install, I change mine with 3mm nut and bolt and done. the link pliers from heli may not work that great because our ball links are steel, the fms are plastic.
get some ball link pliers! i fly both fixed wing and helicopters. be screwed without the on my heli
Okay, I definitely need a pair for sure. Going on my Christmas list!! 👍💯😎⚓️
price...?😅
Hi great video! What does 70 milimeters mean You keep saying? Engine diameter size?
Basically the diameter of where the ducted fan is 👍😎⚓️
What only 100 mph? In 1993 I put up a lowly Hobbico 60 trainer and got it to 100 mph, I still have the thing. It looks like a piper, no snazzy jet.
The sailors have jets that fly way faster than 100mph. They also have planes that do as well. A good example is the eflite v1200 plane.
Why do you feel it's necessary to write negative stupidity.
@@crashkorey because he has nothing better to do
👍👍😁😁
Time to start talking about Remote ID
No need to talk about something you should not use.
@@shane011471 I fly powered gliders. This year, I have lost orientation and had two fly away. With Remote ID I would have had a good chance of finding them and retrieving the equipment. IMHO the FAA has no interest in me or where I fly (remote location and not a FRIA). If you are a park flyer, I'm sure the local authorities have better things to do than police you. You only need one RID and you can probably just keep it in your pocket if you want.
@@thomasjohnson6669 You do know that you can also find them just as easy without RID correct?
@@shane011471 I did not know that. Please do tell.
But foam why not fiberglass
foam tends to be more durable and lighter for rc planes
Hey guys , this aircraft looks very twitchy an sensitive to inputs ... definitely for the more experienced flyrer by the looks of it ... could be wrong , but it sure looked like that right from when you left the pavement.... nice video thou , cheers..
I’m $900 In and haven’t gotten a jet in the air without damage yet… that being said I wish I had a controller with safe mode
SAFE really helps a lot! Have you considered something a little more beginner friendly to learn on? ⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors I definitely have. Now that the three models are all dust 😂 I’m looking to get a prop plane next
maverick couldn't have flown any better nice plane
Nice maiden Nate ol boy. Don't know school colors, grey, yellow, black ok-- but I would prefer Brighter 😎😎😁😁. Nate you may be clueless, but that's why you got Married so the Wife can clue you in‼️ that's there job, which I'm sure they enjoy.😂😂😂🥴🥴🥴. V5 I can see, but it has th. So is this the 5th generation ❓️ we're there 4 previous 🤔. Nice flying NOW hand the controller over to Abby. Abby ya gotta fly more‼️‼️‼️‼️. ⚓️⚓️👍🧡💛💚👍😎‼️😁🤔'😂🥴👍⚓️⚓️.
Word of warning to your viewers. Never buy a UDIRC Breaker drift car, and think it might be a good idea to strap a 4s 6000 kv EDF jet with thruster tube, it will not end well.🤣
First
SICK AF👍👍👍
So awesome!! It sounds and looks great!!
