It hurts to see these old homes and tress go that are historic to just to build a freaking highway!!!! Such a shame the government cares more about money in their pockets than preserving the history for future generations.

Hi Paul, thank you again for taking the time to document these beautiful old buildings; what you are doing is so important to be able to keep a record of the gorgeous old buildings we once had. Before long all our cities will be filled with horrendous modern things made from MDF and concrete blocks, they will never be documented because they won't stand long enough to be worthy of it. Here in Tassie we have slowly stared to realise the worth of our heritage. I live in a 63sq 1897 Victorian 2 storey house and most of my friends can't understand why I put so much time and money into the upkeep. I wish there were more people like you and me about. Cheers mate 👍👍

I really love the old bluestone homes. This one, though renovated over the years retained enough of the original build to let me imagine it's original condition. What a stunner it must have been. The garden with those big old trees is spectacular. I can imagine sitting out there with a glass of lemonade and enjoying the birds and other wildlife on the property. I'm glad to know that a lot of this home will be salvaged. I could see where the floorboards were being pulled up to save. Thank you so much for showing this one before it is torn down.

What a beautiful home and property...those floors are pristine, and although there have been several modifications, it still holds its charm. The loss of the property and its flora is beyond criminal if they take down a gum tree of that age. It saddens me when wildlife habitat is destroyed just to make more roads...there simply has to be a better way. Nice job in documenting a historical building before she is gone. Thank you once again.🖤🇨🇦

And I sure hope that they do save the trees they are awfully beautiful and very old and we need trees,,we need all the trees we can have to help the atmosphere, the critters and whatever else might be living in them... I hope they salvage everything they can and at this home and I saw the most beautiful door handle it had flowers on it that was absolutely gorgeous I have never seen one like that one original or not.. and as far as the outhouse when I was young we had a out house so I know how it is you use one of them old things but it was better than nothing.. I noticed how sad your voice was when you talked about the trees. My husband and I feel that way lately. The hospital we were born at and our son's too was demolished. And now our high school is too. Now there is just two empty huge lots. I feel old.

I 've watched at least 3 of these vids now...what beautiful wood on the floors in all! The real estate pics were wonderful. What a dreamy place.. They thought of everything ,,including a shower to shower off after swimming. Must have had a huge dog too, by the looks of the doggie door..

It is a shame that the houses cannot be moved somewhere. We are all to blame as we drive so much. If the roads are not improved or redesigned then we gripe about the traffic. So thank you for filming these places so we can always remember our past.
