Really nice work, Anton. Great to see the training paid off! I'm hoping to climb Mont Blanc myself next summer, so was great to see another do it solo.
Good job man! You really deserve getting to the top after all the work you have been doing to prepare for this trip! Really inspiring! Keep it up and I see you out there in the mountains!👊👊
Great job anton! Mont Blanc is always pure pleasure to climb and very rewarding! Good job on the alpine start from tete rouche, alot of people make the mistake and ascent in the midday which sucks because of rockfall! good job!
Wow. I want to go to the summit of Mont Blanc as well. I’m now training and want to go when I feel ready for it. It would be such an achievement. Your video is amazing!
Sarah Tonin awesome, thanks a lot! If you want more inspiration for climbing, alpinism and running be sure to check out my instagram -> antonlevein . And also, good luck to you!
just got back from Charmonix .... i took the cable car to aiguille du midi .... maybe next year i'll be a bit less lazy ;). great job, loads of respect !!!! Cheers
Epic summit Anton! a friend and i will be attempting this same run tete russe hut stop then summit next morning /afternoon 😅 there is no more spots open on gouter hut for aug. So we will need to strategize the stops. What happens if it gets dark on the way down and you have no reservation (im assuming you keep hiking down with headlamp) I think the way you did it is the exact way we will have to do it (unguided)
Well done on achieving your goal! A pity the views did not greet you, but a nice short video to watch. It does make me sad however, to see 'hotel huts', permanent cables and groups of people on the routes of many of the world's mountains nowadays. Personally it takes away a lot of the thrill and ultimate satisfaction. So I often seek out less known mountains and regions to explore.
Well put together. Good climb 😀 just done a small peak climb in the middle of storm Dennis . Was incredible. Would like to set some goals for Mont Blanc.
Well done man! How difficult is it finding the right track, especially from Refuge de Gôuter to the summit in the early morning, when you're on your own?
inspiring video! Thanks for this. I am planning a solo expedition to Mont Blanc this year or next. I need to gain some more experience, but I'm wondering if a harness is neccesery? did you use this often during climbing Mont Blanc or did you have it just in case?
There is nothing to mark the summit of Mont Blanc? (Certainly not a broken random metal spike with some tape attached to it). And I'm surprised you didn't get a picture of the Vallot Shelter on your way to the summit?
Oh, no - I saw you pass the old Gouter hut (used in winter) and obviously the new Gouter. I must have missed it - can you tell me the time stamp please? :)

Nice video man such a cracking spot beautiful
Grear job dude! Your preparation was key. I'm looking forward to winter this year...gotta prep though.
Nice! Thanks a lot :D
great goals in your life i have this also on my bucket list!
Go do it! 🙌🏻 Be sure to check out my new video of the Royal Traverse route!
This was really good Anton! Great ambitious editing and cool adventure you brought us on. Made me wanna go there too 😅 Thanks for sharing 🙏
The Outbound Swede thanks a lot! Go there! :D

This summer i climbed all Swedens 2000m mountains, didnt see a person for the first 8 days!
@@hikingswede that's great! Did you make a video of the accents?
@@hikingswede just noticed your ice climbing via van-life in Sweden, so will take a look. 🙂🏔️

Great job! This looks so amazing, One of my goals is to solo Mont Blanc during the winter
Bra jobbat!

Absolutely fantastic video, I’m really impressed! Would love to summit Mont Blanc one day :)
Thanks a lot! :D Do it!

Weißes Rauschen i would say very easy.

You need your harness on any glacier for rescue purposes, if you are going alone you don’t need a harnes for somthing else. Hope it helped 😊
@@Danieff1It helped however Swede said he hiked alone and used line as well? How is this possible?😊
@@luizaterelak7963 I brought a rope as it is/was part of the obligatory equipment.
@@hikingswede Hi! nice to get answer from you. Can you tell me if I understand correctly - rope is required same as refuge booking? :)
Hi, well done! How is it to climb solo? Is it a safe thing to do? I hope to start from tete rouse- summit one day. Should be possible i guess
There is no safe solo climbs in glacier terrain, and it’s getting more and more dangerous by the year :(
Hi mate, well done on reaching the summit. Did you spend much time getting use to acclimatising in the area?
About 4 days above 3000m, and then Tete rousse hut.
Didn't you worry about crevasses bc hiking&climbing alone without connected anyone by rope?
Yes, I though long and hard about the risks. Jumped one bridge on the way down as it looked a bit sadder during the afternoon heat.
Grymt jobbat!
Were there some other solo climbers as well when you were there?
Hey, do you have any details on the route you took? Which parts were the biggest challenge due to going solo? tnx
Google "Gouter route mont blanc" and you shall find. You can see the trail on good mountain maps.
No challenges that year in particular, but as climate is getting warmer the glacier is getting more and more dangerous for each year.
There is nothing to mark the summit of Mont Blanc? (Certainly not a broken random metal spike with some tape attached to it). And I'm surprised you didn't get a picture of the Vallot Shelter on your way to the summit?
Ali did you miss the video of me passning vallot? Watch again :)
Oh, no - I saw you pass the old Gouter hut (used in winter) and obviously the new Gouter. I must have missed it - can you tell me the time stamp please? :)
Ali 9:56 :)
Oh yes, my apologies 😊
Did it again this year, but via the Royal Traverse if youre interested! 🙌🏻
What time you leave Tête Rousse? they have some time of alarm?
Ricardo Gonçalves if I remember correctly the breakfast was at 4 o’clock. Left around 4:45 maybe.
What is the brand of the blue hiking boot you are wearing at start of the video?
Are you talking about my 5.10 quantum climbing shoes maybe?
@@hikingswede At 2:06 minute mark, you are climbing ...I noticed your blue shoes.
@@lepxs yeah, those are 5.10 quantum 👍🏻
@@hikingswede Thank you for your confirmation.
how far in advance did you reserve hut space and did you have to reserve space for both huts?
I reserved for both, pretty much on the date they opened up booking. If you miss that date, there is a big risk you won’t get a spot.
Do you think your training paid off or was it overkill?
Ofc it payed of! Especially now, two years later when I run ultras and climb so much better. Mont Blanc was not an end goal 🙌🏻

Hei Anton, which size of backpack did u take to Montblanc?
Schirin Sh 40Liter, but you could probably go with 25. Don’t forget the obligatory equipment though! :)
