G'Day, My Lovely, It really is a very quick design to do. With a renown, double JP folded back technic added into this gorgeous design you are now spoiling us. Love the colour combination that you have chosen, particularly those fabulous super duos. The green is very symbolic of the coming of Spring and with the hint of gold flecking through them ties all the other colours so well. This little component would be great to use for either a bracelet or necklace and even for a ring. It could create a very beautiful set indeed. The combinations of Bead types would give such an interesting design features. It is amazing if we dare to dive deep into the abyss of our Bead containers or boxes and compile designs made up of leftover beads e.t.c from other projects what beautiful and interesting designs that we could achieve. This Sunday night video series is not only great but is coming in very useful for keeping our Bead boxes a little bit tidier. Sometimes we have made a design using some of our favourite Beads and have some that are left over and therefore not enough to make something else or that are no longer obtainable to buy so this little segment is just perfect for designing left over Beads and creating some fabulous designs. Have you thought about a design using those "silky" Beads (I think that's what you call them, sorry the little grey cells are running on low charge at the moment) they are the square ones that have the two holes but run through the top of two of the corners and when you use them in a design they look like diamonds shapes. Sorry to add to your long list of things to do but I just thought that I would ask. Not sure that I liked those new Minos Beads that you used in your last bracelet. I have seen them used before and (to me) they just don't want to lay flat..... they seem to have a mind of their own as some lay or turn in different positions within the design.......just my thought on those Beads. I am really looking forward to seeing what you have in stall for us for this coming Wednesday and what new Beads you are going to be using. As usual, your design is out of this world fantastic and thanks so much for doing this video. So my little ST Louis Sunshine take care and happy Beading. Chat soon.......Blessings XXXXXXXXXOOOOOOOOOOOO
Hi Chris, Thank you so much. I can't design anything with a fold back or a fold front. My muse is stuck on that one technique. So far I still manage to create something different every time. I would love to create a necklace with this design but I didn't have enough superduos for that. The bead stash sunday series is very popular with the subscribers, more so than the Wild wed tutorials. But i understand that not every one has access to the beads that I'm using on Wed versus the Sunday beads are more common and I try to design so that other bead types can be substituted if the viewer doesn't have rondelles. The silky's are on my list of wild beads. The design requires superduos and I don't have the color that works with the silky color. I'm searching for just the right color. my local bead store doesn't have it. I may just have to order online which can be hit or miss sometimes with the color. That's okay if the color doesn't work, the super duos will just get used for bead stash sunday! You are right about the minos beads, they have a mind of their own. They spin around in the design and are a challenge to work with because of the spinning. I had fun creating the bracelet and the pendant. I would like to create a design with the minos and the arcos beads. I've seen lots of designs with the two combined together. I am glad you like my design and I will chat with you on the next one. blessings to you and yours. JP
So pretty. I love your tutorials & the Sunday Stash videos are terrific. I love being able to use beads that are "leftovers" from other projects. Thank you for sharing.
so pretty , camera just doesnt do them justice ... i did up a pair and they are very unique!!! so gorgeous ...ty so much for sharing!!! ur a very talented lady and just love ur tutorials!!!
JP can you let me know the colors you used, the colors I used it looked like crap... Lol... So if you don't mind I would be great. Also the rondelles wouldn't lay flat mine were kind of sticking up outward, awful just awful... Lol... Yours are pretty (sad face)
The superduos are matte apollo turquoise (www.artbeads.com/bp-0229.html), 11/0 seed beads are Toho transparent medium topaz ab (www.fusionbeads.com/Size-11-Transparent-Medium-Topaz-AB-Round-Japanese-Seed-Beads-by-Toho-162B) , rondelles are light topaz and peridot (www.shipwreckbeads.com/catalog/Beads/Chinese-Glass/Chinese-Cut-Crystal/Round-Rondelles/03x04mm/)
I was trying to figure out why the rondelles are sticking up. Is it possible that your tension may be too tight and is causing the rondelles to not sit right. Also I use Toho seed beads and if you are using miyuki than there is a difference in size of the seed beads. Miyuki's tend to be smaller. Feel free to send me pictures at jrpdesignsaf@gmail.com and I can try to help you figure what the problem is.
Very pretty JP! They look like sunflowers! Thank you! 😊
Thanks Karen.

I will try to create ones with big earrings. The ones in this tutorial are pretty big and you can double them up for long dangly earrings.
