Hey! I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I'm just now getting into DQX and was wondering, are your other party members people or NPCs?

2 of them are support members(they are other player characters controled by AI, like pawn system from Dragons dogma) the uppermost one is a monster he captured, you can use 1 monster as party member.
