I like to PvP, and PvE on ARK Ascended. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, sometimes for 100 days. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it switch, xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, steam, epic, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, usually covering all maps from Island to Fjordur. And one day. ARK 2!

So the Phoenix, a creature known for revival not only can't revive itself...but can't even come back through the Oasisaur. All because Wildcard couldn't be bothered to let them breed. What a joke
I mean I think it technically does revive itself whenever there is a heat wave. Also the thing is essentially an easter egg creature like the unicorn so I feel like you really shouldn't be able to easily obtain more of it if you lose it you lose it no getting it back any way except taming another.
@@xeno6422 Then why are Unicorns breedable? Plus I don't want the Phoenix as a glorified trophy, I want to be able to turn them into adventuring/battle companions. I can't do that if I can't improve stats in anyway. They ain't built like Rhynios, no excuse

It litterally says "most unbelievably, the wellspring of an oasisoar can reincarnate your lost animal friends, weither it be by magic or the well spring on its back" in the domesticated section
And in the top it says "have to defend from other suitors"

@Firefly_6_9_ idk man, cannons on carts for raiding is pretty OP, that's how Xavii easily cleared a pack cave offline🤣 take out the gen with cannons and it's free af.

This seems more for the casual players who get attached to their dinos, which I'm all for, not everything is made with pvp in mind.

It’s not pay to win but generally representative of lame. The base game is looking to be pretty lame/pointless and essentially a strong-arm sell, especially in hindsight.

I reluctantly bought it, mainly for the later content, for SE meh..I landed on the Oasisour to tame it and was like SMH...my main basic base build will barely fit on this, so opted for a land base for now, may tame it later for S&G's, but over all , I've spent $30 on several purchases in my life that delivered less results than this pay to play content, so yeah, for me , not a negative investment. Love the game been playing for years and to see Wild Card do what they intended to do with ASE by introducing ASA, makes me very proud of the teams accomplishments and the beautiful entertainment they have provided me with. So despite Snail's hinderance and delays, they still made there dream come true. Thank you Dev Team, I don't mind the micro transactions, just be Loyal to all of Us as we have been to You. We all appreciate your hard work and dedication. To all the Modders, gamers, content creators, Dev Team and loyal customers a Thank You and a salute .....To ARK !!!
I think this would still have a use in pvp or challenge runs for resurrecting breeders if they get killed somehow, I thin it's more for pve if you lose a beloved tame or one with unique colours. It seems like basically a flying gacha/raft hybrid for the most part which is fun.
It gets ALOT of health per level it seems, might do as a decent soaker, despite no saddle, probably not. Its also really good for the heal buff, you can stack it with like a daedon to heal stuff insanely fast, plus the speed boost could be good if it applies to fliers (and depending on how much of a boost it is)
Wait until some guy kites a wild wyvern to ur oasisaur. PVE is far brutal than pvp lemme tell u that
@@lyfreixyeah, everyone forgets that PVE is the stealth assassin's version of the game.
I'm almost more interested in the unrelated frontier stuff than the oasisaur, digging up plants and potting them to put in your base is so cool.
Also it's so funny to me that everybody was freaking out about how OP the oasisaur was and how the oasisaur is pay to win, but the moment he sees its abilities in game he's saying the exact same things I've been saying the entire time, to the point where he questions if it's even that useful. I mean non breedable creatures don't even have souls for crying out loud, it's not even on par with a cloning machine. One thing I wish he would have tested was reincarnating a highly leveled creature, because I imagine since it comes out as a baby it's probably a factory reset, but if it comes back with full XP that could actually give it an edge
I imagine this bug will be patched rapidly, but I've found that even if you don't own the adventure pack, the Oasisaur will still spawn on your map. When you get onto its back, it'll come up with a message saying that you can't tame it unless you buy the Bob's Tall Tales Adventure Pack. However! If you just aim at it and use the ol' "forcetame" command, you can still tame the creature like any other and it seems to work exactly the same as a normally tamed Oasisaur. It will stay tamed even after restarting the game, so it seems to just be a normal tame.
god this creature is cool, i love its sound, and im guessing the resources it produces have some to do with the natural resources on its back? like the one you tamed had crystal and obsidian and those where on iits inventory, and since they have different things on their back you would think they could produce different resources right?
That might be my favorite thing about it, the way it actually grows visible resources on its back and puts them in its inventory. I always wished the megachelon could do something like that, but now we have the megachelon on steroids
Yes I do believe that the resources present on its…. Back? Shell? On the flat area of the animal the resource nodes you can see show what the creature produces, and like a gacha each one gives something slightly different. Apparently if you remove the resources from the inventory that’ll destroy the nodes and those will regrow over time, neat little visual effect
@@thomasdevlin5825Megachelons kinda do that. The longer they are left out of cryo the more bushes grow on their back and then they produce rare flowers mushrooms and seeds in the inventory

The Oasisaur only eats the foliage from potted plants. Using a shovel and pots in your inventory you can dig bushes into the pots once they are green they can be used as food for the Oasisaur.
God they look so cool. Ive been wanting ark to add a new crab creature and this thing realllly works for that

Is there anyway to prevent the death essence bags from dropping from every baby. Hard to breed for mutations when there’s thousands of bags laying around for hours. Who thought this would be a good idea ?

I hate that I'm glitched and can't tame them despite having the pack, it just says recourses locked over the pool
I honestly love the concept for these guys, its going to be a pvp hell zone because of meshing tho, its just a shame they did not keep going with them to actually enhance the map for example if could dig down leaving the top exposed so you can have your own oasis where ever you want to build as well as body shape and size variants to match what we might want to do. Sadly with that company i dont see it improving at all i can only hope modders can make a improved amazing base love bug.
as a solo player whos tames are like their babies, I love that you can bring creatures back. Is it practical? Not really, you could just go tame another one I guess, but when my Mr. Snuggles the thylo, who's been on so many adventures with me, dies. I wanna bring him back.
Exactly, every Dino i have its special whit a name and personality and everytime i loose one it hurts like hell and its not the same... Now i can res my best buddys and im frikin happy :)

Maybe you can try the plant species X (I know it isn't on Scorched, but you could give it a try and it could be the "turett")

it's definitely a powerful creature, but not quite as powerful as we initially assumed...and ngl I'm happy about that, considering the paywall and all. The space you can build on is a bit limited, the reincarnation timer is quite long AND you have to re-raise the creature, it has no native attack capabilities, feeding it is tedious... On the PvE front (I don't play PvP so I can't speak for that crowd) it seems more fair than I expected! 😃
Plus, there's the fact that you have to get the soul off of your tame's corpse bag. If you happen to lose your tame in a dangerous area and can't get back to the bag for any reason, you won't be reviving them any time soon.
@@AnimatorZeeVIDEO yep, agreed! I also only play singleplayer and when i get to scorched after beating the island, i cant wait to tame one of these and build a masive traintrack afterwards xd and 30 dollars, or rather 10 dollars per map is fine for the bobs tall tales pack...

wait does this mean you can have a second shot at fully imprinting a dino you might not have or if you got a good wild dino you tamed you can imprint on it to make it even better? PS you are probably my favorite ARK tubers

Reapers. Reincarnating reapers is when they will be huge. Can’t be bred, but have a baby form. Also Rhynios. If either of those works, then it’s huge.

Okay that wasn't as overpowered as it seemed. But still, reviving dinos kind of is.
It's cool that they didn't give it any attacks tho.
Maybe you can power level a dino and get it back as a baby to breed the leveled stats
I wonder if a reincarnated tame can be imprinted again… like could I raise a baby with full imprint, kill it, reincarnate, and then raise again and imprint the stats even more?

if you don’t have the dlc you can still see them. i went up to them and got the blue press e to feed icon except it said “you need to purchase bobs tales to use”

You don't understand Raas, making Phoenixes breedable would mean something about a Dinosaur would change in Ascended, and we can't have that

You can in fact see these without the DLC, you can kill them too. You just can't interact with their resources/tame them.

It’s very cool, and the taming method is just insane. I love the fact that it flies and has a massive spot for a base on its back, sorta like a dry megachelon. What makes me very sad however is how it doesn’t have any attacks and is basically there for looks, not to mention the fact that it’s paid. Even more so, It’s lack of offensive and defensive ability makes people who paid for it feel like throwing their money in the trash. Not really worth it
Might be only creatures that can breed since they come out as a baby? Also if they did(golem and phoenix) come out as a baby you could theoretically imprint them.
It would probably only be good for reapers. Other than that but you can just clone them. I feel like it’s completely useless waste of time to re-raise ur Dino but by the time it’s dead there’s a better line

Probably going to be a soaker. I would use it to raise Dino’s on PvP if I was a solo player but someone needs to do a turret rush with it and see how it handles turrets
If revive a spayed or neutered dino- will it still be spayed/neutered once revived?
Tamed one and it won't let me revive my dinos that were killed by the normal ark players on pve and I was kited for minding my own business quietly playing alone solo. Now the creature won't let me revive any dinos.
im guessing it could be quite good of a tank with high enough health stat
sadly with those limitations the Oasisaur is not a tame worth that $42.00cnd price tag & IF this thing starve's to death like a titano then its a pass for me, just murder it for the xp on my other worth while tames I guess. Now if it dosen't starve like Titano then its a MUST Tame for the resource generation like obsidian & crystal.
also @Raasclark did you make sure your turrets enabled on platforms was turned on? cause if it was before this update & DLC resets all your option to default.
That price also includes the adventure pack stuff for Aberration and Extinction though

I'm seeing reports that these are showing up on Single Players of players that don't have the Bob's Tall Tales Season Pass.
I am also glad to hear that if you set up a server you can allegedly play with your friends without buying the adventure pack and have access to everything. This is good if it is true.

wtf my game runs so bad... even with all settings on LOW its bad... but before i left ark the island over month and a half ago, it ran perfectly with medium graphics!! and mods on on my own server

So you tame it by sacrificing a tame and reviving it? Any one figured out how to do it with the pot?
You have to take a shovel to a plant (not one on the oasisaur). Start digging at the plant to fill up the pots. Then put the pots in it's inventory and feed it. Very friendly and tedious
