  • After a long year of work, my latest and greatest project is finally here!
I have wanted to do my own massive chain reaction trick compilation for many years and in June 2018, I decided to finally make this a reality. I put a lot of time into making sure that each clip presented something new and never seen before and was as clean and visually appealing as possible.

This is hands down one of the best machine videos I have ever seen.
There has always been this quality vs quantity tradeoff. Videos with more machine clips tend to have clips of lower quality, just by nature, and vice versa. Most recently, many machine screenlinks have had under 20 clips as a result. But this video? It completely breaks the trend. You've created, as _one individual builder_ , something incredibly rare and special: a machine screenlink that is as good as it is long.
There is a good balance here, too. You have many, many incredibly innovative proofs of concept (0:18 with the self setting staircase, 0:48 with the reused zipline, 1:29 with the spinning cup, 2:23 with the bead chain), creative uses of foreign objects (0:34 with the cymbal, 1:22 with the dog, 1:57 with your classic revisited), fun timing/motion tricks (0:41 with the billiard ball bounce, 0:54 with the gear flip, 1:08 with the triple moving bounce plate, 1:51 with the magic, 2:03 with the launch and falling track, etc.) and good repeated motion tricks (1:43 with the rainbow, 2:12 with the billiard balls). And these tricks are all just in the first three minutes of the video!! There is incredible diversity and attention to detail here.
All the tricks you did with the big gears? Man those gears were _all over_ . And can I just say that the planning of this was incredible? The immersive transitions were _on point_ . Little details (like the 25/50 mark and the extra long last clip, and the clip that was used multiple times!!) made the experience really great too. But every time I watch this video, I see a new cool thing I initially missed. This time, it was the reuse of the little track at 7:06. Such a nifty little rotation into place! And oh man, what a clip.
I wouldn't be surprised if another video of this scale and quantity isn't made for a good while. It's just that hard to make something like this. So much time, planning, and effort went into this project, and it shows!

That was great, one of the best "Watch Later" videos I've gotten to recently in my huge "Watch Later" playlist that I'm trying to get through.
What I really liked about this video was how everything is clear of other stuff around it...I find each section easier to follow and take in what's happening that way on first view.

It really goes without saying how much of a masterpiece this video is, and how much effort was put in compared to most Rube Goldberg Screenlinks that have focus on having a large quantity of clips. Some of these concepts were just so freaking smart, like the bulkdomino filter, the rotating cup staircase, bead chain dispenser and the sliding pulley. Most of the motions you achieved I wouldn’t have expected to look as clean as they did, and they are all something unique. There were also some clips that were really clever spices of other people’s that I thought were really neat. My favourite clip, though, was the double-use dog, because like, it’s literally a double-use dog. The incredibly fast (but still easy to follow) pace of this Screenlink makes the video feel like it’s nowhere near 9 minutes and that I could just keep watching it again and again. The Infinity War clip was also really funny and a great lead in to the final clip (even though I don’t even know that movie lol) All in all, truly well epically played my gamer, I’m so glad you pushed through and got this finished! This is an incredible feat of both your machine ingeniousness and your perseverance. ∩^ω^∩ W(`0`)W

Wow this is a VERY complicated machine that they can be tricky to build!
Here is some tricks that I like
0:15: The Walking Slinky. Now I know it’s a boring trick but also a very *complicated* trick because this one has the most fails (with 88 fails)!
0:40: The Pool Balls Collision. This was a awe-inspiring trick when two billiard balls collided with each other.
Now I’ve seen a failing video about this and this trick and the platforms (where the billiard balls land on) were together but separated them to prevent the fails.
0:53: The Gear Swoop. The swoop was so smooth and amazing! Awesome job!
1:00: Foosball Kicker. I love it when this k’nex lever kicked the ball. Just supreme!
1:05: Moving Bounce Platform. This is amazing when the ball bounce on the platform MULTIPLE TIMES while the platform is moving, more like Mission Impossible!
1:12: The Dog Feeder. Another amazing trick with a living being O_O!
1:38: Newton Cradle No.1. I love it when you made the Newton Cradle tilted to knock the ball for the next trick:)
1:56: The Fiber. You use it in your Rube Goldberg machines and used it for fascinating tricks and this is a awesome one!
2:15: Sliding Cards. This is so complicated! You used the cards as a track for the ball to pass by!
2:50: The Whirlpool. This trick is so great! How’d you make the ball go up and down? So amazing!
3:11: The Track Swoop. You use the track 3 times :O!
4:09: Pivot Twist. So amazing. How did you make the ball pass on dominoes?
4:34: Gear Shoot. So smooth and epic just like The Gear Swoop.
4:24: Newton Cradle No.2. I like how you made it knock two balls to keep the trick going.
6:22-6:42: The Hoop. This is not simple dude, how did you make those machines like this?
7:12: The System. This is the longest trick ever!
And of course the finale was a good one!
This is so supreme that you should make part two.
I cannot believe you did this all by yourself!

It's finally here! We've been looking forward to this video for so long, and this was totally worth the wait. The way you can create such clean clips while achieving a complex motion is beyond me. There were several times I audibly gasped because of a trick, and that rarely happens as well! It's so easy to tell the work put into this video. The whole year spent on it along with all the clips you made that didn't make the cut just add into my enjoyment because I can really tell you cared about this.
Best machine video of the year so far, and definitely best machine screenlink I can recall. Top three clips were 1:19, 5:44, and 1:06. Special shoutout to 0:41 as well, I've been trying to make a trick like that for so long, can't believe you made it work! The thanos snap wasn't expected but was hilarious haha.
Can't wait to see what future videos you make, and we totally need to collab again once we're both available.

Okay, it's about time I get a comment in here. First off, OH MY THIS IS GREAT!!! Every single trick in this video is so entertaining, and I loved every second. The sheer magnitude of intricacy and complexity of these tricks combined with the astonishing length of this video makes it one of the best the community has ever seen. Okay, now for specifics:
0:40- I remember you showing me this a while ago. You're a lunatic! This was such a cool trick to watch, and I love how you were able to control the unpredictability of the pool balls colliding in mid-air.
0:47- SCREW YOU THIS WAS MY IDEA. Goddangit Gabe I already buit this and filmed it as a part of a future video 😂 Oh well. I actually added a little s p i c e to mine so we'll see how that goes. If anything, this is a testament to how our minds think alike.
0:53- This was the first trick where I audibly yelled in surprise. Did you get inspiration from Lyle's ball scooper trick? If so, it somehow never occurred to me to add something onto the end instead of a scoop. This was such a genius idea.
1:00- Beautiful. If there's anything you are well known for, it's creating clever multi-use element tricks with ease. Gosh, this is so smart.
1:12- Gabe, how were you able to multi-use a living, breathing creature. You're insane. I considered this soft-core animal abuse before seeing that you used your dog as a multi-use element and then I realized that it was for a good cause.
1:25- Yooo this is so cool! This reminds me of something I did in SIUTS 2. Idk if that's where you drew inspiration from, but if so, it's a wonderful spice of a spice 🌶🌶
1:43- this definitely reminds me of something Joel would do. Often times, when one trick is repeated over and over again in a quick, rapid fashion, it can result in a visual masterpiece, and this is no exception.
    1:49- O___O
2:23- Bruh I loved how you manipulated the beads before doing the classic chain, and I thought it was clever how you used the chain as a weight for a lever to tilt after its removal. Definitely a great way of taking a normally boring trick and making it better.
2:53- What? How? I think that using an object that "sinks" and then floats is a great thing to use in a machine, and you used it very well.
3:39- Oh my god I lost it for some reason when the track tilted out of its chamber. Totally didn't expect that to happen.
    4:08- D O M A C H I N O E S . This one was a sweet multi-use of the domino track thingy.
4:34- BRUH WHAT. HOW WERE YOU ABLE TO MAKE THAT CONSISTENT. What DIDN'T you launch in this video?
4:42- Ahhh a nice do-it-twice spice 🌶🌶. I also thought that the sliding track was a nice touch
5:15- Heyoo! Is that the trick from my Reactica machine?
5:17- I'm pretty sure this was inspired by one of Joel's tricks in Domachinoes, but it never occurred to me that you could use the dominoes as weights. Fantastic!!
5:45- Oh my god of COURSE you can move the two pulleys together to lower the domino. How did I not think of that?!? Such a cool and simple idea. I also liked the multi use of the yellow domino.
6:08- DUUUUDE WHAT. I totally did not expect the whole thing to tilt down and fold up the tracks and use them as ANOTHER TRACK. So much was packed into this clip it's insane.
6:22- Oh my god this trick was amazing to start with, and I noticed that the tape roll moved in the lever. I expected it to roll out of the k'nex device, but then you moved on to the next trick. Still a cool trick right? But THE you WENT BACK and MOVED the TAPE ROLL. I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING.
6:49- I loved the idea of having a spinner spin by a blow dryer and "launch" a ping pong ball. Great concept. BUT THEN. THEN YOU DID THE UNTHINKABLE. You turned it on its side and did a completely different rendition of the first trick. R E M A R K A B L E !
    7:10- l y l e i s q u a k i n g
8:24- This last trick is filled with so much. My favorites were the falling tracks and the launching dixie cup with the ball inside. SO clean, SO clever, and SO simple.
Final remarks: Okay this has to be one of the best machine videos I have ever seen. Hands down. Words can't describe how amazing this is. This video has inspired me in many ways already. I feel encouraged and enticed to think outside the box and try doing conventional tricks in new ways. Everything from the tricks to the transitions in this video is simply perfect. I can't wait to see more!
