15:02 Good common sense move here. 👌🏽Even though these babysitting rules will make the match less entertaining for arm-wrestling fans, we don't want these superstars have a horrible debut, traumatize everyone watching and scare all the other strongmen away from the sport.
Its kinda pathetic that every video I open starts with "We are waiting for Eddie" Showing no respect to those men. Devon being constructive is very confusing for some, but when he gets serious he is making some good points and it feels like refs dont want to listen to him even out of match just because its Devon talking. Which shows how some people struggle to let of their ego just for sake of the sport. And in that sense Brian worried Eddie gonna abuse the rule of dangerous position when loosing is that more rational.
If we want the sport to be taken more seriously and be more consistent, the rules need to be CEMENTED and written 100% as they are intended. Hating on Devon for pointing the small things out is ridiculous -- they HAVE to be worded properly. Also hoping Eddie's disconnect and seeming lack of respect for the event during this is just them playing it up. I really think it is given their personalities and how they handled it, but damn he does a good job playing the role.
Its not just devon getting involved there are others also thats when you know rules are shit and needs to be written better this is a professional sport it should have 1 set of rules and keep them that way instead you have experienced arm wrestlers in devon Michael and even coach ray disagreeing how the rules are that says it all really and a few more who are there, the rules are should be set in stone to the point you wouldn't even need a rules meeting thats how the rules should be
Why are all these random people in the meeting room. It should be the 2 competitors, their 2 coaches, the head ref + the event organizer / lead. NO ONE ELSE SHOULD BE THERE.
That was a frustrating watch... seems pretty clear that Bob typed up his rules on his phone on the way there without giving it to anyone for critique before putting it out. Devon is literally telling him there's too much wiggle room in his written rules and he's pretending its not important, it's not even like he's being really picky about some small thing either... he's literally just pointing out you're saying there's a consequence for me doing X but not saying what that consequence is. It's a simple note, all the rules in that section should be considered referee's instructions so you should apply them without being told, if you break any of them it will fall into the category of not listening to the referee which is X penalty.
How are you going to determine if the elbow gave a clear advantage or not. The name of the game is to try to keep the refs out of it as much as possible and keep it to the players
Bro, watch eddie against Neil, he did the arm brake position when he was almost to get pinned, like they dont want to loose, thisbis going to happen 100% so the 2 warning 1 fault for thia is going to be interisting, the one with good endurance is going to win
All these rules and changes are so annoying. People love KOTT and EvW because its not as strict as waf. EvW luckily isnt this far gone. Devon gets all the blame when literally every athlete tries to get an advantage. Hope it doesnt ruin the event.
I mean you could just make sure no one gets into really bad positions. And say elbows stay down, elbows stay on the pad. Apart from that. Just arm wrestle....
If the rules are changing from event to event, and not even got cleared out and written down completely, it's not a sport, but a form of entertaining. I never understood why an arm wrestling match has to be half on hour long, with all the long setups and arguments, meanwhile the action is only 80 seconds in a BO6 match, now I do. What a mess! It's nice to see everybody is joking about it, but it's discrediting the sport and disrespecting the viewers. How should we take this seriously, buy the PPV and follow the sport, if the sport itself doesn't give a damn about its own integrity? The fact that they have to sit down with Neil Pickup, the freakin founder of Arm Wars, to explain the rules of the sport he was competing in for decades is just beyond my understanding. Bye-bye PPV! Maybe, just maybe, I'm not alone with this. Ridiculous. Sorry, it's upsetting.
A sport cannot grow unless athletes/participants cannot respect both logic and spirit of the rules. Picking apart the rules to identify loopholes and make them better is welcomed. Picking apart the rules just to make yourself sound like you're better than everybody, even though you are is detrimental to the sport.
What sport needs a rule meeting before every event.. We've had nearly 15 evw and 15 kott and still we need to discuss the rules every time. It's so amateur and cringe worthy. Agree the rules once and for all and stop this mess.
Sounds a lot like Eddy had some involvement with the rules. maybe scared his arm is going to break. None the less, you can't have a fair competition with those rules

Brian asking so many questions is probably in part why he won 4x WSM and you only won 1
15:02 Good common sense move here. 👌🏽Even though these babysitting rules will make the match less entertaining for arm-wrestling fans, we don't want these superstars have a horrible debut, traumatize everyone watching and scare all the other strongmen away from the sport.
Waiting on Eddie, what a shock.
I think Eddy isn't very happy everyone's betting on brian
05:20 lmao, Brian was unimpressed with Neil's clownery 🤦
Its on the rules of Arm Wrestling to make it a bigger sport!!!
9:53 What does Matt Mask say about Jodi?
She’s drunk already he said 😂😂😂
This is why we don't have arm wrestling competitions too many rules
5:23 why is the electrician also listening to the rules?
How many federations and how many years now a still no concrete universal set of rules and standards for arm wrestling...🤦
The strap sounds like nothing but if you have been given a terrible strap then it's in your best interests to touch it so it gets reapplied
There needs to be rules written down in dead set details so there’s no way to argue one way or the other
Its not just devon getting involved there are others also thats when you know rules are shit and needs to be written better this is a professional sport it should have 1 set of rules and keep them that way instead you have experienced arm wrestlers in devon Michael and even coach ray disagreeing how the rules are that says it all really and a few more who are there, the rules are should be set in stone to the point you wouldn't even need a rules meeting thats how the rules should be
Why are all these random people in the meeting room. It should be the 2 competitors, their 2 coaches, the head ref + the event organizer / lead. NO ONE ELSE SHOULD BE THERE.
Devon pulled whole rules meeting with table in right arm 2024
The break arm rule? Will one of them ( in a loosing position ) deliberately go to a break arm in order to stop the match?
Who gave Bob Brown the floor anyways?
I'm waiting for the Shonen AW manga. The characters are already here irl. 😅
I swear Armwreslting can make a great manga/ anime !
Brain fr got mad at Eddie 😂
What is rules dude's name? Bob Who?
Brown
@@cole3891 Thank you. I will try to avoid whatever he sells. KOTT not withstanding.
09:55 The moment Devon let's out the German side of his 😛
Noooo keep it rolling 😅😅
Thats not how it works you know, its the twisting of the shoulder/body with the elbow planted that may be dangerous.
WAF rules... Really?! Nobody wants to watch that trash. What the hell happened to KOTT 1 rules?
Whyis the kings move a fowl?
Sounds a lot like Eddy had some involvement with the rules. maybe scared his arm is going to break. None the less, you can't have a fair competition with those rules
No way Eddie didn't show up in time! UNPRECEDENTED!
