Final Calif. Zephyr #5 in Ft. Morgan for 2023

This California Zephyr #5 made its station stop in Fort Morgan at 0506 MST (4 min. late but On Time). P42s #147 & #135 brought the 8-car train to its first stop with car 3 (sleeper) to the station platform for 2 departing passengers. Then the train was moved bringing car 7 (coach) to near the same spot for 2 more departing passengers and 1 new fare. With the station work safely completed, Joe gave the high ball and on a clear signal the Zephyr #5 departed Ft. Morgan for the final time in 2023.
