    😂 Definitely add these BEFORE you put butter in the bowl! Also I am able to switch them up when I move from wisk to paddle.

    Zach you’ve done it again! Devoted fan here and will be ordering the Hi-Rize, spring and washer soon.
    Two quick tips from a friend and admirer: 1) light yourself better frontally; I don’t think you’d need much more than a shaded lamp (or lamps @45° to you) and 2) get yourself a good quality broadcast mic, even a lapel mic will eliminate the echoes. But a mic such as one the podcasters use would be even better. I think you deserve to project at the quality level of your tutorials, sense of humor, and your professionalism! All the best.

    Hi Zach. Well, you’ve done it again, with an ingenious solution to a nagging problem. Will be ordering soon! Love all your videos and have been following you long enough to know you’re a good guy and a great teacher.
    Some thoughts from a friend: 1) light yourself better, even with two lamps at 45° to you will work and 2) get a lapel mic or more “pro” mic to eliminate the echo. All the best!

    It's a nice upgrade to the bowl!
    Excuse me Mr. Mixer, I want to ask for your recommendation
    I want to buy a KitchenAid pedestal mixer, but I am undecided about which model, the models available in my city (I live in Mexico) are the models: KSM70SKXXCU and the KSM8990WH (Commercial Series)
    Which of these two models is better? Is it better to invest in the commercial series mixer (KSM8990WH)? I have read that this mixer incorporates a DC motor which makes its work cycle longer and does not require so much rest between beating or kneading
    What do you recommend?

    • @MrMixer316
      @MrMixer316 5 місяців тому

      The ksm8990 at this point is a superior mixer. The main reason I suggest this is that we have data to back up how long it should last. It's no problem to get a decade out of it if you take care of it, the ksm70 is so new (about a year on the market) that there is no data to suggest how well they will hold up!

    • @jocoque9729
      @jocoque9729 5 місяців тому

      Thank you @@MrMixer316 for your prompt response!
      True, the kSM70 model is a recent model, its novelty is that it incorporates the 1/2 speed for folding and the 10-speed control, in addition to the flexible double edge paddle and the spiral hook. It has been reported that the kSM70 has a 500W motor, but it is an AC motor and does not have as much torque compared to the DC motor of the commercial series mixer, and as you mention, there are still no reviews on its durability
      So if it is convenient to buy the commercial series mixer, it is a little more of an investment, but if you take care of it properly it will be a work equipment for several years

    I just inherited a Canadian version of the KSM50PWH. Apparently last it was used it had smoked and just stopped working but as soon as I plugged it in it was working fine and so I thought that the overload reset switch might have been pressed. When I pressed it again it stopped working until I picked up the mixer, shook it, and now it's working again. Do I just need to replace that switch and if so how easy would that be?

    Question: my stand-in mixer’s adjustment screw isn’t working anymore. It doesn’t seem to do anything when I try to raise or lower the beater anymore. The beater touches the dime just fine, but when I try to whip eggs, they do not whip AT ALL. It just swishes them around and they won’t grow. Any suggestions?

    Worth mentioning, there's a built in clearance adjustment screw behind the bowl after lowering the arm. The shims might help if that's not enough, but definitely try that before shopping for a fix. ua-cam.com/video/0dpMCjFAiBI/v-deo.html
