Omg. After 35 yrs on this earth, I'm just now venturing into the awesomeness of obscure board games that tend to put the classic board games to shame. This youtube channel is now my all time favorite. I really hope you are being paid handsomely for advertising these games since its because of you I plan on purchasing a truckload of your featured games. Way to go Will! King of Tokyo is officially on my shopping list.

I'm not sure if I like the gameplay, but the theme is magnificent.
You should try it. It's not overly complex, but it's a lot of fun, especially with six players.

I've been interested in this game for a few months but haven't had a chance to play it. This video sold me. Awesome that you got one of the founders of Bioware and Wheezy seems like a typical likable dude from the midwest.

Finally the online shops in my country has gotten King of Tokyo in stock! I bought the base game + power up! + the halloween pack! For anyone interested, the Power Up! pack gives each monster a unique deck of cards you use to evolve in a different way than anyone else which makes the game more diverse and interesting.
Thank you tabletop for letting me know about this game, I'm so excited to be able to play it myself!

Its because it IS a mindless dice rolling game :p Me and my gang play those heavy strategic games, So once in a while its good to just roll dice and not think of anything :)
I would love to play it every single time too, I am sure. It just does not justify, why people pay crazy amounts of money for its promo cards. Thanks for your comment!
That and while playing (because it's not the same watching them) it's actually very entertaining and fun like my friends and I play a few (because it's all I have) and we love them but while I watch them play it's not the same, so to restate it's really only fun while playing.

Well, promos are expensive in every game, just like with this one, but even if it is awesome, it is still too light to say that you need to spend 30 bucks for a promo character.....Before this video, I did not know, that it was such a casual game.

Absolutely. It's a great game for a laugh. And with 6 players, the madness escalates very quickly.
Though, admittedly, I'm speaking from my own game nights. Which usually end in drunken hilarity.

My nieces (11 and 15) absolutely LOVE Fluxx.
After seeing Star Fluxx on Tabletop I ordered up all ten versions* and it's my nieces' most oft requested and played game we own. :)
*Zombie, Starr, Cthulhu, Eco, Pirate, Monty Python, Family, Martian, Oz and Original Fluxx.

Card upgrades can only be purchased AFTER you resolve your dice (unless you have the Opportunist card). So Wil should not have been dropped to 1 HP.
