I got married at this exact time in Rethymno, Crete. My wife and I are from Australia and all our family and friends came to Crete for what was meant to be a beautiful warm wedding in a completely outside venue. Needless to say cyclone "Zorbas" has other plans for us. Thanks for bring back some funny memories and thanks for the fantastic videos.

Thanks for your content, so important for learners. I can import it to link and see it again and again looking up for words thanks to greek subtitles. I didn't find any other channel like tours. Congrats.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THESE VERY NICE SLOW GREEK VIDEOS! THEY ARE VERY EASY TO LISTEN TO AND UNDERSTAND. I HAVE DOWNLOADED ALL 55 OF YOUR VIDEOS AND WILL NOW BEGIN STUDYING MY WAY THROUGH THEM. i HAVE LIVED IN BOTH LONDON AND IN GREECE, AND YES, THERE ARE A LOT OF GREEKS IN LONDON. THERE ARE ALSO A LOT OF GREEKS HERE IN PORTLAND, OREGON WHERE I LIVE HERE IN THE UNITED STATES. YOU GREEKS ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE! I HAVE SPENT FIVE AND A HALF MONTHS ALTOGETHER LIVING IN GREECE DURING THREE VISITS THERE. I STARTED LEARNING GREEK WHEN I WAS 11 YEARS OLD. i HAVE RECENTLY FINISHED TRANSLATING THE FOUR GOSPELS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT FROM THE GREEK OF TWO THOUSAND YEARS AGO INTO A MODERN AMERICAN ENGLISH. THE GREEK LANGUAGE HAS BEEN A GREAT SOURCE OF PLEASURE AND EDUCATION TO ME! I HOPE SOMEDAY TO RETURN TO GREECE FOR A FOURTH VISIT AND TO STAY LONG ENOUGH TO BECOME MUCH MORE FLUENT IN THE SPOKEN LANGUAGE.
I PLAN TO TRANSLATE THE REST OF THE NEW TESTAMENT AS WELL. i AM ALREADY 82 YEARS OLD, AND HOPE TO GET IT DONE BEFORE I AM 90 YEARS OLD!

Very entertaining story. Julie you are a brilliant teacher. The amazing thing is that every language teacher in the world should speak very slowly and clearly like this for their students, but almost no language teachers do, which I have always found ridiculous. Well done for producing these brilliant videos.
I have listened to many so-called "easy Greek, easy Spanish, easy Italian and easy French" videos and they are all ridiculously fast. Really they are useful only for people who already speak the language quite well and just need a bit extra practice.

I do like your videos! But this one in slow Greek was one of the best! I was happy to be able to understand you without resorting to the subtitles! This is what we need! Some slow Greek until we get used to the normal speed! Thank you
