Well documented. My widowed daughter is searching and I am helping find a UTV for her property. Your videos are making the process easier and a T Boss may be the thing.
Thanks for the props. I'm still loving mine and it's perfect for all kinds of uses. If you end up getting one, be sure to checkout some of the resources available on my website-- twc-projects.net Thanks for watching. Have a great day.
Purchased my Massimo 550 T Boss last year and it only has 132 miles on it. I am having the same idling issue and I think your 3 part video might help me immensely! Time well spent watching your video. Thank you TWC.
So glad it was helpful. That's the only issue I've had in three and half years. Be sure to go to my website ( twc-projects.net/resources ) for helpful code guide and links to parts. Thanks for the kind words and for watching my channel. Hope you can fix your issue quickly and be back to riding soon.
Congratulations! Hope you love yours as much as I still love mine 3+yrs later. Plenty of videos in my playlist for UTV. Thanks for watching my channel. Pls check out my website if you haven't yet. Lot's more supporting info available there, especially on the Massimo including troubleshooting and diagrams. twc-projects.net
Glad you found these repair videos helpful. You mentioned fuel, so you probably saw this video too, where I replaced fuel filter, injector, etc. In case you missed it, here's a link to it. ua-cam.com/video/gYIdxIML4LU/v-deo.htmlsi=33vcpbjWLOyrOq74 I think I have 3 repair related videos in all. Thanks for watching and for your comments. So good to know these videos help others. Have a fantastic day.
Thanks for the Video. I have a 2022 AXIS 500 with 212 miles on it. Drove it in the shop. The next day it would only start and go dead. Trying to find a dealer to work on it under warranty is useless. I found one they kept it for 6 six weeks and could not fix it. I brought it home cleaned out the fuel tank, new fuel filter, injector, spark plug, disassembled carb and cleaned got the same results. Run acroess your video. I removed the TPS and checked the ohms got nothing. Ordered a new TPS installed and it runs like new. Thanks again Tim
Wow! That's fantastic to hear you got it running again. So sorry you had all the frustration and waisted time. As you saw from my 3 videos, I had similar experience, less the 6wks in a dealer's shop. If I had only known that there were ODB2 codes. Surprised the dealer didn't know that.. I now have the codes list with descriptions and much more related info on my website. Please feel free to refer back to that anytime. twc-projects.net Thanks for your positive comments. I'm so glad to know these videos help people. Have a fantastic day.
Got my TBOSS 550 last year. Everything was great until recently. Snow on the ground here in Missouri. Now the engine cranks over but no fire. I guess I'll look under the hood and see if the fuse for the electronic injection went bad. Have good gas in the tank, and have stored my T Boss in my garage. Looks like next I'll look at the fuel injection spray. Thanks for your videos!
You probably saw my other videos where I first tried replacing fuel injector, filters, pump, etc. before I found the real problem, a $19 part. Be sure to see the Description of this video, as it has more great info about troubleshooting this part and problem. Also, you can find links to all the tools, parts, and equipment I show in my videos on the Resources page of my website ( twc-projects.net/resources ). Thanks for watching.
I own a 2019 Massimo T-Boss 550 camo, just like yours. It has almost 2300 miles on it. Use it about everyday with my work. Have had no problems with it. Great machine!
Wow! That's fantastic! Other than the one $19 part that I had to replace, mine has been running perfectly too. But I'm really glad to hear that someone who runs theirs 20x more than I run mine still loves it. I'll have to mention your comment in the next review/update I do on the Massimo. Thanks so much for sharing and for watching. I really appreciate it.
Just subbed I'm thinking about getting one nothing is perfect. I have watched other videos on it hit or miss you usually only see the problems. Great video.
Glad you liked it. I have a whole playlist of this machine, so check that out if you haven't already ( ua-cam.com/play/PL8T-iSUAEa2RJBDMfgnq06UztKiydJW3e.html&si=g0znRsJmilyhRO3x ) I've had mine for over 3yrs and still love it. Like anything, you need to take care of it and not abuse it. Thanks for watching.
It depends on what you plan to do. I originally bought it thinking I would use it for trail riding 25% and work around my property 75%. For around my property and general purpose use it's fantastic, and yes I'd definitely it again. However, after taking it through the mountains on one trip, I lost interest in trailering that thing for hrs to do anymore trips. It's just too under powered and doesn't have the suspension like a Polaris General or some of the more popular, bigger side-by-sides that are built to climb up rock ledges. Of course they cost more than double the price of the T-Boss 550. Maybe the extra $1,500, or whatever the difference is now to move up to the T-Boss 750, might be enough power to make mountain trail riding more fun. Maybe consider that model too if you go with Massimo or Bannche. But, for riding across fields and through the woods; for hauling wood and tools; for running back and forth; I'd happily buy my UTV again. Though it was dead in the water for over 2 months, truth is that was partly my doing as I didn't want to take it to a real mechanic and I didn't want to replace a chunk of my engine when it was just a $19 part that needed replacing. And I didn't realize I could read computer codes, that in my case would have narrowed the part I needed on day one. Yes, the Massimo people blew it with tech support, but I'm not done with them yet. There are thousands of viewers every week watching my Massimo videos alone. And I hate to judge an entire brand by the ineptitude of one or two people. The in my opinion Massimo product is very good, even if the tech support team screwed up by abandoning me. Hopefully I'll be able to help others through these videos. So of course it's up to you to decide what will be best for you, but I still love my Massimo and expect to get many more fun and hard work out of it. Thanks for your question and for watching. Let me know what you end up buying and how it works out for you. Very best of luck..
@@johnhayes2299 I have had nothing but trouble with my T Boss 550. Just make sure before buying one, check and see if you have any local service for them. Places in my area that Massimo said were service centers basically just shut the door in my face. Mistake I wont make again. Maybe would try one again if i could buy one from a dealer. Don't buy from a big box store!!!
Thanks. I keep meaning to do a better tutorial on using dash lights to troubleshoot, but have too many other things going on to get around to it. Hopefully one of these days.. Thanks for watching.
Awesome! Thanks! Welcome to the channel. If you didn't already find it, there's a whole playlist for the side-x-side, and others for various topics you might also like. And, the website has useful resources and behind the scenes stuff, etc. twc-projects.net Thanks for watching.
Thanks. I'll just added a link to the description of my original review ( ua-cam.com/video/Hm_wAKC9kDI/v-deo.html ) so others can easily find it too. Thanks for watching.
Hi, I couldn't catch the part # on the throttle position sensor you ordered for your t-boss if you could please share where you got it from and or part number we would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

TPS--throttle position sensor, yes. I have more details on my website, including wire diagrams, etc. ( twc-projects.net ). And there are several other videos about this at ( UTV/side-x-side: ua-cam.com/play/PL8T-iSUAEa2RJBDMfgnq06UztKiydJW3e.html ) Thanks for watching.
I like the looks of the rig BUT who works on them? Do you have to get parts through China? I have a CFMOTO Uforce 800 and parts are everywhere on the net plus dealers popping up all over the place. For the price of that rig why not just get a rig that is popular and easy to get parts or have worked on?
I'm not in this business and make no money from Massimo or any other UTV brand. I just share what I personally experience in hopes it will help others. I suggest you go with whatever works best for you and your specific needs. For my personal needs, I've been able to find the parts I needed and fix my own rig, which is one broken part in the 3yrs I owned this machine. And I posted links to where I've found that part, and any others parts on my website; again, in hopes of helping others. Thanks for watching and for your comments.
The light bar was from Harbor Freight; the remote winch switch from Amazon; and the Grab Bar from Massimo directly. I'd have to dig back through the comments of past UTV videos I've done to find links. If their is something specific you can't find, let me know and I'll figure it out. Thanks for watching.
Check out the Description for this video. Should be links there for part. There should be other helpful info in Descriptions of other related videos I've done on this topic. Here's my playlist with all UTV videos I've done ( ua-cam.com/play/PL8T-iSUAEa2RJBDMfgnq06UztKiydJW3e.html ). Hope that helps.
As of Jul 23, 2022, I have 140mi and 48.5hr on it. Been running perfectly since I replaced that bad sensor back in Jan. Will try to do another video on it soon. I've had folks ask to see how everything works on it and give an update. So keep an eye out for that. Thanks for your comments and for watching. Much appreciated.
I called them (1-877-881-6376) and asked for tech support. And when I didn't hear back, I called sales and pleaded for help, explaining that i loved the product and my sales experience, but explained I was having trouble getting help with service. And if that still didn't get a response, I called back again, explained my whole saga again, and that time asked to speak to a sales manager for help. Hopefully you won't need to go to that extent. But just remember, being nice yet firm goes much further than being hostile; because it's all too easy for them to just hang-up the phone, and many businesses allow their employees to do that when customers are aggressively cursing and unreasonable. I hope that helps.

Honest question....if you had to do it again would you still buy this utv and if not which one would you buy. Im in the market....just wondering 🤔
