it is Sort of an Acronym, the first letter of each word has to form a word, like MRE Meal Ready (to) Eat. The letter in the Acronym has to be defined by the word its represents however. So the Diddy, Be My Little General, isn't representing the 4 general.. ie a Be general, a My General. That's the reason Charles Vtianza down there is correct with his grammar.
The Marines are a department of the Navy, so If they're in a MEU (Marine Expedentary Unit) then there's a glitch in the Chain of Command... Because of the Mixture, I believe they have, or are phasing it out. Just as Marines can be pilots, etc. There were 1 or 2 back in day that Wore the 5 star Fleet General...
I had my own story about officers. My section leader was a butter bar who came up with a platoon rule of no smoking but thankfully I was an air officers driver which are usually captains who deal with air support stuff for your battalion. So he basically over ruled my lt. And said if my driver needs to smoke to stay awake to drive me around so be it. He was a cigar smoker himself. He was a very relaxing officer. Semper Fi. Can't spell LOST without the LT.
Could you make a video about warrant officers specifically talking about their roles in units, duties, and your personal stories of warrant officers please? I'm kind of confused on what they are and do. This is kind of bad because my uncle is a CWO4 but he's in Afghanistan at the moment so I can't exactly talk to him about it.
Do Lieutenants and Captains see combat on the front lines? I'm considering joining the Corps after college, but I'm not sure if I want to enlist or go to OCS

Everyone tells me to go the officer route for the higher pay and rank etc. However I have been considering going the enlisted route because I really want to fight and see combat. I really want to eventually become a part of Force Recon. Would I have the same opportunities to fight as an officer as I would in an enlisted rank?

Can higher ranking officers actually go out on missions and stuff? I never want to be stuck doing paper work and miss out on the fun.
They can but it's rare when they are actually in the shit. It's generally LTs and Captains.
