Hi Aba & Preach! Thanks for reacting to my video. Since there were some unanswered questions about their background, these girls are all between the ages of 23-30. A lot of them weren’t fully comfortable answering details about their upbringing but I can confirm not all of them come from affluent backgrounds. One thing that has become clear to me from doing these interviews is that so many are unaware of the stats and reality. We just shot another video this weekend with a new group of girls so stay tuned lol

There’s no shame in manifesting a wealthy man because wealthy men do not care for a woman’s money the same way an average man would. I hear what you’re saying, but it means nothing really because a woman making $650k still wants a man making the same.

I recently dated a girl with two surgeons for parents. It was literally impossible to please her as a guy making 60K. She wanted to go on trips every month, wanted to go shopping at expensive places & go out to eat every day. I just couldn’t keep up, that’s just not a reality I can live in. I grew up poor (family went bankrupt twice), it was way too much for me.

My biggest thing in a partner (after religion and kids) is similar financial goals, future, aspirations, and PROGRESS! If she wants an early retirement or high income but isn’t on track because she spends her least dollar she isn’t for me. Trust me you’ll see how many marriages end because the wife is a spender and then when things get bad she’ll go into debt, hide it, then leave the husband on the hook for it and take half of his assets.

That girl is going to get obese and wrinkle quickly because restaurant food simply does not have the nutrition to support your health and maintain your youthful skin. As someone who grew up in poverty, Aba was speaking factual on the idea that you can't even conceptualize what it is like to have money. My current roommate makes over 60k a year and to me the first year or so it felt like he was the richest person to me because he could do things like simply buying things he wanted, getting food from fast food restaurant casually.
Mf when I was a kid, getting fast food was like eating at high end restaurant that you did every now and then when you came in with "some money" for it. Even now after my last job and realizing how little I would of made working full time a whole year, I realized that if I just simply made 50k a year I would living living and be making more money than any of my family members have ever made. I'm now trying to get there.
These women just want to live like rich people with other people's money because they are used to it. Just as the saying goes, once you go up you don't want to go back down.

Same. My first job out of college was $25k. I was barely breaking even with rent and commuting costs.
Going from that to $55k in just 2 years felt like I was rich. Already making what my parents did combined. I was saving cash and having everything I needed. At 6 figures in my early 30s now and I buy crap I don't even need.
Even to this day I don't really conceptualize more than what I make.
The kind if shit these girls want and their 'lifestyle' would be too incompatible with what I want or raising a family.
When someone says they want to be a stay at home mom and their ideal car is NOT a minivan......their priorities are fucked and coming from a place of insane privilege - butlers and maid servants kind of privilege.
Like you can't even fit groceries in a Ferrari lol

I grew up in a household with a SAHM and dad bringing in approximately $200k and I didn’t have half of these expectations when I got married. I like nice things, but I recognized what it meant for my dad to have to work 12 hour days and be super stressed so we would have good things. I dated a man making $150k and all he ever did was try to buy me, but it wasn’t a genuine relationship. It was like he was waiting for me to be impressed by his money and felt no need to connect with me as a woman. I married a wonderful Christian man making average money and I’m sooo happy with him.
People who emphasize this need for money are often very empty inside. They want to make up for everything they are missing internally by getting things. I had a lot of things and I can guarantee that if you cannot be content without them, you won’t be content with them.
Also, I had a great relationship with my dad growing up. I wanted to marry someone like him way more than I wanted to marry someone with money. We should look at these girls relationships with their parents and see whether they’ve been fulfilled in any of their family relationships.

Watching this video is crazy as a daughter of a working class man. I remember as a little girl, hyping myself and getting mentally prepared to marry a poor man and endure a lot of years of barely making ends meet. Because thats what my mom did to marry my father. And I want some one like my father, he is the best man I know. My father is an upstanding, hardworking, loving man. He sacrificed so much for his family and I am grateful for everything he gave us. I knew that if I wanted that type of man, he would probably be where my father was which is among the hardworking men around me. Not in the wealthy men that care more about making it then making a family. If I found a good man and he was well off, then praise the Lord. But if I found a good man who was barely making ends meet, then praise the Lord. I won’t have to worry because he will take care of me. My dad had to go through a lot of work before his small business was doing well enough to support a family. I was ready as a little girl to the same thing my mom did which was stand by my man. Women like the ones in the video just seem so shallow to me.

She's keeping all of her money, not doing anything around the house and expecting everything from him. I put in at least 60 hours a week of straight up getting things done as a stay at home mom who homeschools. But I also don't expect the stuff these women do. We live humbly, well within our means. If I was married to a wealthy woman and we could live off of her income, I would be doing 100% of everything too. She wouldn't have to touch anything dirty or go hungry. I don't see how people can want someone to pay ALL of their bills, take away their necessity to work these dry jobs out here (which is the worst part of life), and not be willing to do 100% of everything else around the house. You literally have no need for a job thanks to your spouse, you owe it to them for them to not have to do anything when they get home.

So, to me, I thought what my father makes is the average or something. When I started working my salary was always way lower than my father's and only then I understood the reality. My father is rich. I lived a rich lifestyle that most people don't, but I didn't know that growing up. It's really crazy to realise that, because in my eyes being rich is owning lands and mansions and expensive cars and brands. But I didn't realise that owning two houses and 4 cars while raising a family of 6 and taking them all to lower cost vacations every year *is* already rich.
Now I know I'm not rich, my salary is very humble "to me" (it's still way above average). My boyfriend's salary is more than mine but still way lower than my father's. I now realise that I'll never be able to live the lifestyle I had with my family. Which is a bit sad to be honest. But what's crazy is that to other people, my current lifestyle is still pretty good and above average but to me I lowered my standards. Perspective matters a lot.

Being able to pay your bills, pay for food and clothes on your back, save some money and having something left to either get something nice for yourself sometimes (I don’t mean something extravagant necessarily, but if you save up for something sure!) or save it to go on a vacation perhaps with people you want to make memories with. I don’t mean extravagant vacations either btw. That’s, to me, a good amount. And bills and other expenses are being taken care of by both, not just the man, unless you have other agreements. You don’t need extremely high incomes to be happy. It makes finances easier, but it sure will not make you happier. And I personally don’t want to spend my life making money, i want to enjoy my time. Making money to live instead of living to make money.

Jordan Peterson quotes research that found that happiness increases until about US$ 60k, but doesn't increase past that point, which holds your statement true. From my own personal experience, every word you said is spot on. As a child I was oblivious that we were raised with a substantial amount of welfare and charity. Having to sit with another class all day because we couldn't afford the school excursion my classmates were on is not a pleasant day. I'd say $60k is enough to save a child from that embarrassment. My clothes were always clean though. Holy shit I just remembered my mother used to save the first rinse water from the washing machine into buckets to save on laundry detergent.

@@iamamodel7 Jordan Peterson is a very smart man. I don’t always agree with what he says, but he has a lot of points I definitely agree with.
I do think there is one flaw which is that his statement is based on a certain part of the world, so it won’t apply to everyone exactly.
I also remember some of the hardships, but I also remember how value was completely different back then. Playing a board game with the family and enjoying quality time, instead of being sucked into a phone all day. We needed different things back then, just like the need is different in other parts of the world right now. 60k might be a fortune to some, otherworldly, while in other parts it might be barely enough. That’s why I didn’t state a number.
I think your believes on what you desire are a grand part in your happiness. If you always want above your means, you will never be truly happy.
The part where embarrassment became a problem is when the school planned trips above people’s means.
There was a time when we all depended on each other to live. When did that become something to be embarrassed about, because we still depend on each other. Yet we now make it a competition to see who makes more money and who has the nicest things, while true connection is something we forgot how to accomplish.
It’s a strange world. I remembered sharing a book and being excited to work closely with my mate and we had a blast playing in the fields and climbing trees, making little cabins with wood we could find. We didn’t need anything. Ofcourse my parents were worried, because they had to pay the bills and pay for food, but they also were present. I dare say that those were one of the happiest times though and right after when we were Financially stable.
I honestly miss those times today.

@@Cugastratos That's what you'd think you'd do. Most likely wouldn't end up that way. Firstly because of the taxes in that income bracket. Second, because you usually have to spend money on equipment, material, employees, etc when you're making that much money. Third, vehicles and housing, and when you're making that much money you're probably not going to want to live in a one bedroom apartment because you can afford better. And a bigger nicer house means more upkeep costs, a higher electric bill, etc.
You'd have to be spending more because you're making more. At 650,000? The income tax rate is 37%. Let that sink in. More than 200,000 of what you're making is just gone. In my state, the annual median property tax is about 4K. But as you'd be making bank, we'd assume double that at 8K and then for business expenses.... The average estimate for the first year of a small business is 40K. So at least 20K- if not more.
I'm guessing you'd have to pay 50% or more just to be earning that much and living well enough. It's literally impossible to be making 650K and only spend 40K without committing tax fraud.
Honestly? More income isn't exactly all that much better. I mean... Fuck. 37%? That's insane. It's 12% if you're making under 90K when filing jointly. Above that it jumps up to 22%. Which... Actually is really bad for some households, if they end up making more than 90K... Suddenly having 10% more money taken away.... That can be absolutely crushing if they have a large family or a mortgage, or are still paying off a loan or something. Our tax system is fucking weird.

Even if someone is making 6 figures in annual income, if their after tax take home pay is over $200k+, one can still live frugally and save 75% of their income.

I make £20k and my partner makes around £40k annually, after tax. we spend around ~15k on bills living in a studio flat in central London, so that leaves us with around 3k a month. we eat like KINGS (spending around £120/week on groceries), and we go out to movies and eat out twice a week, travel often, save tons, and support our families.
i am incredibly appreciative and happy with my lifestyle, because I know MOST people cant afford living like this. and knowing that these women think of my lifestyle as a complete life failure and think it’s poverty, makes me furious.
what do they need the ~20k a month for??
most families live and raise kids on lower income than ours. they dont need to get uber eats everyday, they dont need a cleaner, they dont need to go to five star restaurants once a week, spend hundrets on cocktails every Friday night, or have designer clothes to be happy.

My parents are divorced and when I was younger they both were individually making around 350k. I remember my dad showing me what he made one year in the car picking me up from school and it was around 345k after taxes. I told my mom recently what percentage income earner someone making 350k was and she was surprised because she didn’t realize she was in the top 4% of earners for a lot of her life. She thought making that kind of money was a lot more common, I suppose because of the environment she was in. Had I not known the statistics I woulda thought it was much more common too and been walking around delusional. My mom still doesn’t think one million dollars is a lot of money and I suppose that’s a good mindset to have if you plan on being a high earner. Anyway it was interesting to gain some perspective on my childhood and appreciate what I got.

Not a great mindset if you want to also have some grounding in the reality of most people. Especially when a big element is prior connections or luck. Yeah, a part of it could also be attributed to talent and the pursuit/dedication to grow a brand/business or establish a career, but somewhere down the chain there is still going to be a worker who is working harder than a CEO for relatively little pay - whether its picking your food or working in a factory job to make your car upholstery. I think innately people know though, if a million dollars isn't a lot of money to your mum, why doesn't she hire a cleaner and pay her that. Would she tip the mechanic half a million?

Yeah, just gonna leave this here:
”Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil All the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax, And she WILLINGLY WORKS with her hands. She is like the merchant ships, She brings her food from afar. She also rises while it is yet night, And provides food for her household, And a portion for her maidservants. She considers a field and buys it; From her profits she plants a vineyard. She girds herself with strength, And strengthens her arms. She perceives that her merchandise is good, And her lamp does not go out by night. She stretches out her hands to the distaff, And her hand holds the spindle. She extends her hand to the poor, Yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of snow for her household, For all her household is clothed with scarlet. She makes tapestry for herself; Her clothing is fine linen and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, When he sits among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments and sells them, And supplies sashes for the merchants. Strength and honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness. She watches over the ways of her household, And does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her: “Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all.” Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her own works praise her in the gates.“
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31‬:‭10‬-‭31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Which is a bit sad. But what's crazy is that to other people, my current lifestyle is still pretty good and above average but to me I lowered my standards. Perspective matters a lot.

I think this disconnect has a lot to do with where privilege meets entitlement. I grew up with quite a bit of financial privilege but I also understood that I had to work to support myself. The moment you see how hard it is to make money and how undervalued our labor is, it really puts things in perspective

Exactly. I think that's why even women with middle class upbringings will have this perspective bc even though they had less privilege, they had a high level entitlement that was never snuffed out by responsible parents. It's "daddy's princess syndome" imo.

I think another huge part of it is everyone on social media giving the illusion of wealth bleeding into real life expectations.
People get on all these websites, construct a fantasy lifestyle to compete over who’s more successful with people they’ll never meet in real life. And then forget all the people they fallow online are just as fake as they are.

My father makes a lot of money, and that made my standards too high (when I was younger). We're not rich (or so I thought, because almost all my friends appear to be way richer than me). But I didn't realise that owning two houses and 4 cars while raising a family of 6 and taking them all to vacations every year **is** already rich.

I knew a spoiled woman who grew up rich and she's almost 40. She has good looks going for her because she's so desperate for a rich man she used dating sites and even expensive matchmakers. She works a minimum wage job, has her expensive NYC apartment paid for by her rich parents and their rich parents. She has only 1 sibling so its not like the money is split around a bunch of spoiled kids at once. And she refused to go into high paying jobs like the rest of her family cause she thought she could cruise through her entire life on her family's money and then later her husband's. She wants a man who makes at least 350k a year, has dated a millionaire, but flopped the date by being quick to ask for marriage and he realized she's just trying to gold dig.

Almost all of them met their wives either in university or through work. The single ones (myself included), would never consider anyone over 30.

@@hardware20x Usually what is said about the type of men who don't go for women over 30s is that they either aren't looking for something serious, or just want a young woman they can control financially into being however he wants her to be. Those relationships don't last at all without chemistry and compatibility involved, just like a normal relationship. Unless ofc you guys decide to do an open marriage when you get miserable. I've also seen some men who also wouldn't go for women over 25 end up going for women over 25, stuff happens, plans can change.

so raising your daughter to be a princess isn't wrong but raising her to be an airhead about the world is.

If you want a husband who can make 150,000+ a year, you need to say goodbye to vacations. And having him around often. Mine goes to work at 5 am and often doesn't get home until 9pm. 6 days a week. Vacations happen once a year, for 3 sometimes 4 days tops. Because he has to work in order to make that money. And our vacations are not glamorous. We go camping, because he likes camping ( i do not, but it's HIS vacation and I want him to enjoy it)
