Hi Jose and Padma! We have a rather large community of Ukrainians in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba on the Canadian Prairies due to the Stalinist holocaust perpetuated on them, and also because it's the bread basket of Canada, so I grew up eating all of that wonderful food. I now live in Hamilton, Ontario, and coincidentally an amazing Afghani-Indian restaurant named Shah's just opened here and the biryanis and curries are delicious. I've been enjoying Indian food since I was a teenager, in fact the parents of my best childhood schoolmate had Edmonton, Alberta's very first Indian restaurant. Much love to both of you and your shows and books, but especially for your generous hearts and charity work. I'm a chef too, but obviously not a famous one lol.
