Hi. I have bark mulched some beds. I'm thinking this will help. However, what do you recommend to deal with the weeds? I need to weed prior to applying the glue.

I’m thinking seriously about using on pea gravel. Did you use the super max according to directions? I don’t want to waste time and money.

It will help suppress weeds but a weed will find a way! It leaves air pockets throughout as it only binds the mulch to other pieces of mulch so where there is a path to light there is a chance for weeds.
ok. so im a new homeowner. my backyard is mostly all mulch and by the time we moved in a lot of pine leaves have already fallen on my mulch. would it make sense to just spray over the mulch mixed with the leaves on top? i cant see any practical way of clearing all the pine and leaves that are already mixed in

I tried everything on my rubber mulch , sticks together but don’t stay in place. Dogs walk run on it ,then it comes up. Suggestions?
Hi, thanks for your comment. The glue can only handle light foot traffic. We also recommend increasing the mixing ratio to 32 oz is to 1/4 gallon if it doesn't work.
How long after spraying on decomposed granite before it can get wet/handle rain? thank you.

Hi, thanks for your comment. Upon application it will enhance the natural color of the mulch and actually make it look shiny and wet - but as it degrades you should expect that the color of the mulch will degrade also as it is blasted by the sun and weather.

I’m planning to try this on pea gravel between pavers. I don’t want to take up the whole patio but I didn’t put area in as I should have..cheap weed barrier laid on flat surface with inadequate underlayment and the weeds are a constant problem. I could be beating a dead horse but at least next area I will have learned from my mistakes and see how well the glue works.
