Hi, Margie, I think this is my favourite trip, the water in the river was so warm and we had fun in the kayak on both days...In part 2 the weather is overcast, which is a shame but it was still a warm day. I'm working on it now, it will be up by Sunday night, as usual.
Hi, Linda, yeah, many of the birds here, have relaxing songs...but there are some, like the cockatoo., that have a loud screech...they sound like how I imagine Pterodactyl's! lol just a little rain on the tent while I'm falling asleep is so relaxing, almost hypnotic.

Lol, My days of roughing it while camping are almost over...I like to get back to basics every now and then and put a pack on my back (see video #7) but for the most part, I like to have a comfy set up and just relax in nature. (I'll make sure there are some flowers on the table next time I go filming 😀 )
@@My_thought_bubbles a stretcher bed will literally fit but for me at 5'11 my head and feet would touch the tent causing condensation to accumulate on my bedding and give access to biting critters! I did consider the the larger RV4 and 5 but they require pegs to pull out that extra length. (the alloy frame is the same size in the RV 3 4 and 5) I don't bother using pegs unless I want to have the rear window cover out.
Hi, Kerrie, I live in Sydney and mostly go within an hour or two but this trip was 3hrs away over the other side of the blue mountains, just outside a little village called Sofala, an old gold mining town...apparently, there is still gold to be found in that river but I didn't see any!

I've seen inflatable couches before but they always looked like the back support and arms would not actual support...then I found this one, a solid one peiece, packs up smaller than the two chairs and is comfy as! I'll wait for the AC when a camper trailer company want to sponsor me! lol and I've looked at projectors but not found anything I like for the right combination of price, power consumption and picture quality...but its only a matter of time! lol
hey mate, yep tech is running along quicker than we can think of what next....funniest one I've seen is 12v ceiling fan for your tent canopy or camper, what brand is the couch? keep up the good content mate and you never know who or what's around the corner - plenty of sponsors out there trying to get their products highlighted on social media. cheers

I see you got 52 views in one day which is what your previous three videos took several days to do! that means your on the right track. To take it a little step further, I recommend using a tripod for all your shots and regularly changing the angle and the distance from the subject and it would have been nice to hear the sizzle of the bread when it first hit the pan! 👍

Yeah, packing up in the rain is no fun and you can't leave it packed up ready for the next trip...although, I do leave the gazebo packed up if its wet. its quite durable and cheap, so I'm not concerned. but, my new (expensive) tent is always unpacked and set up when I get home, wether it rained or not (thats one of the reasons I got a quick pitch tent) even if it didn't rain, there is probably some condensation or morning dew on it and being canvas, it is very susceptible to mould. Hi, the water was warm, its summer. The water is shallow and the bottom is rock, so its easily heated by the sun. but the day was hot enough for us to go in anyway, even if it was cold...especially Digger, he loves the water, no matter the temperature
Hi, Kevin, I got it from Amazon...it wasn't cheap but the cheaper ones have flimsy armrests that look like they would split under weight. This one has it all as one piece, so far it has held up....with Digger jumping on it too!

Hi Jeff, Not really mate, not on the preventative side of things.I regularly check Digger's feet, belly, ears etc for irritations and bites. I don't like to use chemical barriers...I'd rather manage it with mozzie net's and always keeping the camper door closed!
Hi Robert, I use Final Cut Pro. Its the only one Ive ever used so can't compare. I chose it over Premiere Pro as that requires a subscription, whereas Final Cut Pro is a one off fee. There are free editing softwares, like imovies which I could have started on first but I knew I was serious about editing and didn't want the hassle of learning another system when I inevitability upgraded to something like Final Cut Pro.
Hi Darill, I'm too far south. The crocs are north of the Tropic of Capricorn. Its the snakes you have to keep an eye out for by the water down this way. 👍
its a trail cam, it has a motion sensor that starts recording video or photos. I'm trying to get some footage of the local wildlife but nothing so far.

27:05 - what is it?
its a trail cam, it has a motion sensor that starts recording video or photos. I'm trying to get some footage of the local wildlife but nothing so far.

I miss Qld, I used to live there many moons ago. I’m thinking of camping in the glass house mountains on my way back down
