Here's my arrangement of "A Couple of Forevers" by Chrisette Michele from her album "Better" released on June 11, 2013. This arrangement was written for my alma mater, E.E. Smith High School in Fayetteville School. Please take a listen to my arrangement; as always, feedback is appreciated!

Hey just asking but I go to western branch high in Virginia an we just switched to high step an we need some music and I was wondering could I get 1 piece of sheet music from you and if not could you tell me wht you use to make ur music because you make all songs look and sound good

Thank you so much! If I was to arrange it non-stop, it probably would take about 7-8 hours. I have never been one to knock out an arrangement in an hour or two because I have a very reiterative process. I will write one phrase at a time and listen to all the complete measures repeatedly before proceeding with the rest of the arrangement. I am really an advocate on "Quality over Quantity" so I want my music to sound as great as I can make it before posting it. I never took any music theory (even though I wish I had). My chord progressions come from playing keyboard and organ at church when I was younger. I hear so much color in certain songs that I want to capture it in my arrangement. I hope that you feel that I have been successful in that regard.

yes sir you have i really enjoy your arrangements and listen to them often you have a gift man dont stop i have a love for music also and would hope to become an arranger one day also and lead my own band program but i agree with quality over quantity thank you for replying

Great rendition & arrangement of this song.. I noticed that the song as well as your arrangement had swinging sixteenth notes as the rhythmic feel... i was curious as to how would one apply the swinging sixteenth feel into a song using Finale..?
