One doubt related to excel pivot table(also BI). I want to make report. For this i use pivot table. Problem is that i want multiple summation and subtotal (like month based subtotal, grand total up to that month and overall grand total) that is three row for every month of some sales data. But excel do not allow to add multiple total row or any custom row like calculated fields. Would be great if you hint me to solution, i think DAX can so is it possible to use dax to create custom format of pivot table.? OR Is excel uses dax to create pivot table? And can we customize the table structure using DAX for having multiple culculated rows. Thanks 🍻 dear Ruth
With the Intelisens I noticed that, if it stops working for a reason, I do not know :), on the right of the DAX editor you will see a thick horizontal line (if there is no error in the formula it is black colour; if an error it's red). All you need to do is to click once inside the small editor area beneath this thick horizontal line and click back in the formula. It should work again. Hope that helps, because it is truly an annoying issue :D
