This is so interesting. When I was a kid I wanted to be a cameraman, I applied but kept getting told I was too young. Id try again now-but theyd tell me I was too old lol. I didnt realise BBC tv news started in 1954-four years before I was born. Wow, my earliest memories are of Richard Baker and Robert Dougal reading the lunchtime news...... As for robot cameras-dont get me started. Great stuff
