Jake our cute sweet natural young Skywalker, was unjustly bullied and criticized. He was a wonderful Anakin! I can not imagine anyone else! We needed to stand up for him at the time to counteract the loud negativity. Like how young people are being taught to not just be a bystander when they see bullying! At the time i didn’t realize to the extent this was happening to Jake! For if I could go back in time , I would want to be involved in spreading the positive!! Also poor Jar Jar no excuse for what happened to him! Haters real immature bullies love to tear down people. And make them feel horrible and unloved because they are jealous of the love and good fortune they do not have! Human beings can be horrible to one another like psychic vampires! Send Jake good wishes , positivity so he can have something to fight with!

I liked Jake Lloyd more than the other kid precisely because he didn't have the bad boy vibe. No dark streak like in the other kid. That's the whole point of the tragedy of Anakin/Vader. You see him as a bright innocent kid and unfortunate circumstances turn even the brightest and most innocent of kids into what we saw in Vader. If he was just always dark, there's really nothing of too much substance to that story.

You missed the fact that the script was rushed and basically a first draft full of plot holes. Passion is from the production side. The writing and directing are not.

    • @SpFlash1523
      @SpFlash1523 10 місяців тому +2

@@genetenz The script was not a first draft, you can search up videos of the original concepts for Episode 1 before they were inevitably altered (like how the script for Episode 4 was changed multiple times). The movie had a 2 year period of post-production, so you can't say it was rushed (unlike the sequels), along with there being a 6 hour cut of the movie hidden somewhere. George said after viewing a cut of the movie with his peers that the movie is stylistically designed to be viewed in a particularly bold way, and he suggested editing down/taking out certain parts to diminished the "jarring" effects of it.

Many fans didn't like the prequels, but as an old Star Wars fan, I loved them all. Episode one was so awesome, we were in line for almost 2 hours to get into the theater to see it, and i was on cloud nine the entire time. I saw this movie like 50 times. Saw it in the theaters at least 3 times as well. My favorite character is Ewan McGregor's Obi Wan, he did such a terrific job. I cannot wait to see him in his own movie, been waiting a long time for one. As for the last three movies, the best scene out of the 3 combined was at the very end of 9 when Rey says "And I am all the Jedi", and crosses the two sabres and kills Palpatine. Other than that, the last 3 were okay, not nearly as good as the original three, or the prequels. George Lucas is the true master and it shows across all 9 movies.

I totally agree! For sure, Ray Park has serious kung fu and staff/sword skills! He had to be excited to play Maul in Episode 1. It's unfortunate isn't a big action star, with
all that training. He did have a small role in Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever as a goverment agent and did a great fight scene with Lucy Lu's character. I know that sounds insane, but it's true.

I remember being aged 9 and seeing Qui Gonn on the front of a cereal box and thought he looked so cool. & i won a star wars gift in that very same box of cereal.
I unfortunately can't remember what it was, but i distinctively remember Qui Gon on that box, finding the toy and being really excited about going to cinema to see it. And 9 year old me loved it.
But honestly seeing the behind the scenes stuff and all that goes into it has made me respect the prequels so much more, & respect George so so much more.
Seeing how integral he is to literally all parts of the saga is crazy. Everything all the way down to every little ship design, creature design etc.
It's such a shame that he writes such bad dialogue as everything about his passion for the galaxy really shows in these documentaries.
And after all his work/ideas That he put his soul into for decades, it juat ended up getting huge backlash juat for the script. Resulting in him selling the hole thing and now it just doesn't feel like star wars, it might look like it but something clearly is missing, & after watching these it obvious that something is Mr Lucas!!!!
If only someone could have helped sort the script out back in the. 90s, & let Grorge do his thing with everything else, just imagine where Star Wars would be now.
A 40 year sage ruined by Rian Johnson for.no reason and poor Georhe Lucas getting such utter diarespect.
Lets he him, Filoni and Favreu get Kk out thr dood and get back to where we wanna be.
It's such a shame that the skywalker sage (palpatine saga now) has forever been ruoned by RJ and Kk.
Poor poor George. He hot like 4 Billion, yet i still feel sorry for him. That's how bad Disney disrespected him.
Such a shame. If someone juat said that the dialogue needa sorting, the entire galaxy qould be different. Now we'll never see the otoginal 3 on screen together agaib, & luke.can mever been seen in se light again... Literally. FUCK KATHLEEN KENNEDY AND FUCK ROUNDHEAD JOHNSON.

I remember the night I saw EP3 at century theaters, in Ventura California. We got the New Yorker pizza that had Newt gun Ray on the box and for a dollar you got Padme‘s starship,
I remember I took my dad‘s flashlight put some electrical wires on it, put some red electrical tape around a broom handle and somehow attached it to the flashlight so that the light would shine on the red electrical tape replicating a red light saber.
This was imagination, this was the magic we all felt.
The nostalgia is still there for me and watching this documentary and looking at your face when they show the news archive footage, I was right there with you because I felt the same way.

I attended Celebration III, just about a month before Revenge of the Sith came out. 40,000+ people the day George Lucas was there. Cosplayers galore. People from all over the world. Amazing. Best moment was walking into a nearby store with my friend, both of us in costume, to get some bottled water and a little kid, maybe five or six tugging on his mom's sleeve: "Mom, look! Real Jedi!" Made me grin the rest of the day. ;)
