All of these new songs have made me cry almost instantly at the shows we’ve seen this year. This album is going to be special which can be told simply by how emotional they are for Robert to perform. Just stunning art.

This litteraly gives me the same goosebumps now, as it did live in the Fall. This is What the cure is❤ Behind the darkness and melancholy there is the love and there is the life. This is for me a love song, this is a song written to the woman which Robert has spent the last 50 together with, who has been there for better and worse. This is just a man, who wants his wife to the last of days 🖤 Lets us all find the one, that we love as Robert loves his Mary. The person that we have to promise that we are with in the end of days, man, woman, who ever makes us happy

Beautiful editing, that moment of affection between Simon and Robert. I have watched lots of these videos from this tour and its obvious Robert is saying goodbye, they all are. I am so thankful I got tickets to see them this summer. The new songs are among their very best.

While I love the audio, and I can appreciate the work that went into the multi camera edit, I don't like how the footage is from different nights. It looks great, but the fact that the audio isn't actually the same as the video kills it for me 😅
@@Cyril.Heimburger the fact that he is wearing different shirts tells me the video isn't from the audio. It's just a weird thing I have. The video is very good, and I know the amount of work that went into it is tremendous. I really appreciate that. But for me, when I see Robert on screen in this video, I know the images don't match the audio. His expressions, his movements, his body position and his emotions aren't from the same performance. It's like if it was a lip sync or mime performance, or a studio video. It's visually appealing, but the emotions aren't the same as if it were a video of a single performance.
For me, that's the whole concept of multicam editing: mixing the most moving moments from different concerts into one. Apparently, sometimes it works, sometimes not so much. You really liked the Endsong one which brings together more than 20 different shows, not so much this one... Maybe it's related to the editing, maybe it's all very subjective?! I really don't know. Hope you enjoy the next one.

It's finally coming out on November 1st, 2024. According to various interviews from 2020 till 2023, it took so long because Smith wanted to get the lyrics and vocals right, then he also really liked how the songs sounded live so they re-recorded takes to be as good as the 2022 and 2023 shows, plus the mixing and mastering, and he's also apparently doing a solo album.
