PIGGERY PROJECT

FR CHRISTOPHER BEYUO’S PIGGERY PROJECT SPONSORED BY ST MICHAEL CATHOLIC CHURCH, SOUTH CAROLINA, USA.
This Piggery/Crop integrated Project that seeks to raise pigs for sale either as life animals or pork and use the excrement (droppings plus urine) of the pigs to manure a farmland to cultivate crops, especially maize and soya beans to feed the pigs, is sponsored by St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church’s Mission Team in the Diocese of Charleston in South Carolina, USA.(This group is actively involved in the Universal Solidarity of the Catholic Church). The group donated $14, 450.00 for the project.
The project is located in HAWURA in the BONO EAST REGION OF GHANA, West Africa. It is a 10-compartment structure intended to house about 100 to 150 pigs at any given time for sale. I have also acquired a 15-acre plot of land for the cultivation of corn and soya-bean as feed for the pigs. The project primarily is intended to support my ministry and to train the youth in my parish and in my family in pig farming so that they can eventually establish their own pig farms to take care of the families.

Good project but provide PPE for the people working for you man
