I have unfortunate preconceived ideas about Tom Ford and still do, but his interpretation/story telling of this incredible book was perfect and there was beauty in every scene. I cannot argue that. And what can anyone say about the cast? Pure excellence.

Came across Isherwoods novels a few years back when I was reading a biography on Don Bachardy. Loved the book. I was happy to see Tom Ford really capture the essence of the novel.
That comment of perfection. and look at what he did next, the definition of grime. Where is this guy? The movie world should demand a movie from him every 5 years
Everyone always goes on about his clothes in the film but i honestly believe this was one of the best films of last year and will remain in my favorites for a long time. First film aswell - annoying good bloke!
I think Tom Ford should make a movie again with a gay subject but a happy story because we all feel and have moments like the movie showed but why not try a movie similar to Devil wears Prada. With fantastic fashion and set design 🤓

The entire cast IS beautiful. Such an incredible film. 5 stars, hands down. Excellent job Mr. Ford.
