People like foodie definitely expect an easy solution to their problems, some sort of diet or plan that'll eliminate the hard work part, when in reality it's about perseverance. There is no magical solution that is going to take away their 'cravings', they just have to learn to not give in every time they want something they know is bad for them. It does get easier to say no the more you do it, because you start to feel motivated by your own progress. But unfortunately, Foodie doesn't make it long enough to experience that. She really does need a good therapist.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Foodie and Amber want that magic cure all, but it doesn't really exist. They have access to weight loss drugs and still fail. I doubt the cure all would even benefit them at this point. They would just put all the wait back on out of pure boredom.
