Plus i think they've drilled in to him not to turn the ball over too much. His throws all look scared and off target because he looks like he's trying to avoid int's instead of giving his stud wrs a chance at some 50/50 balls that they'd win most of the time with their talent. Coaching sucks
Spot on about the coaching! But here’s the real question: Should a QB prioritize safe throws, or is it worth the risk to let star WRs prove their dominance on 50/50 balls?
get an offense coach, and stop trying to make players into pocket passers. not one of the last 3 QBS they drafted is that. so they end up staying in the pocket not knowing what to do. calb has alot of times he could have ran
Totally agree, forcing QBs to fit a mold doesn’t work! But here’s the debate: Should the Lions focus on dual-threat QBs moving forward, or is sticking with pocket passers the safer bet?
How about you build your offense the right way first.... you build the guys in the trenches first. Protection matters more than anything. You go out and get these stud wrs.... but all your offensive lineman would be back ups on other teams minus tevin Jenkins and he's mr. Glass and can't stay on the field
Spot on-protection is everything! But here’s the question: Can a great QB and WRs succeed behind a mediocre O-line, or does it always start with the big guys up front?

He holds onto the ball too long all the time every time throw the ball away he does not he just hold it
Is holding onto the ball too long about poor judgment, or is he waiting for plays that just aren’t developing?
