That Guinaifen disrespect 💔 She's so versatile - you can build her full dot or you can build her full support with the Pearls of Sweat lightcone. The sheer amount of dots she inflics is crazy because they can spread so she's great for Kafka. Her built-in damage taken is great so you're pretty much able to slot her into any team and she'll provide value. And then the Pearls of Sweat lightcone makes her a viable support for Dr. Ratio as she can inflict 3 separate debuffs at once (burn, firekiss, pearls of sweat def reduction). She can provide so much value no matter how you build her. As a non-Kafka haver I have her on the debuff support build and I plan to use her with my future Dr. Ratio.
I agree with this but shes pretty mediocre unless you use a kafka team. That being said, shes one of ym favorite characters and i pulled for her E6 and also shes fully maxed out in traces lmao...I love her so much
For me, a f2p player, Guinafen is a most should build/wish; I don't have it in my principal account, in the second account I got it and is insane with and without Kafka. The debuff to enemies of damage taken increase by X% is insane, and similar to Ultimate of Pela, is a great option as a debuffer in every team and, obviously, the Dot's team Sorry if something is write wrong, I'm not talk/write in english so much, but your video is very useful. Guinaifen is just pela who can actually do damage I don't understand why people overrate pela but forget about guinaifen she is as powerful as pela as debuffer and more flexible I didn't get her even after 30+ pull on topaz banner and it really hurts she is one of my fav unit of this game. hope I'll get her soon
Honestly bronya isn't that much easier if u want to use her with other dps-es since in one case she needs to be fast or slow so ya and she needs higher crit dmg too
By no means, she's flexible but not easy to build. 😅 Speed tuning is very hard. It really depends on the DPS's speed. I have multiple relics just for that. I think I still have a very long way to get specific speed for each DPS.
I think Himeko is definitely in "Good Option," she's always been overhated but she's gotten some nice buffs over time as well. The follow up set improved her damage a fair amount, content has been trending towards requiring more AoE lately, and Pure Fiction is about to make her even better. She also wasn't completely outclassed by the limited character of the same element like Yanqing, and in fact Himeko and Topaz work beautifully together so it can actually be worth building Himeko even if you plan on getting Topaz. I think you definitely undersold Luocha a lot in your discussion. His out-of-turn healing/cleanse is incredibly comfortable, and with follow up attackers it makes you practically immortal to everything except one-shots. Clara + Luocha feels like an illegal combo, but Kafka and Topaz have consistent follow ups too. And you basically never need to use any skill points with Luocha, which is huge for certain team comps. And he's absurdly cheap to build, mine is still level 70 with like level 5 traces and some random cope relics I slapped on him back in 1.1. I never needed to update his build because it just works lol And Clara is so good I would honestly say she could go into "2+ of these." She can absolutely be one of your main carries if built well, and she's very tanky too. She was an invaluable pull very early on in my account before I had two 5 star sustains because her tankiness and high aggro helped me survive a lot of encounters I was undergeared for at the time.
I agree, Luocha is pretty good, and he's the best option for sill point negative teams. Been using him all the time since I got him. Without him, playing IL would feel terrible.
@@MaCherrie 4pc grand duke set (follow-up attack set), build atk and crit as usual + salsotto planar sphere (fire dmg) and rope (atk). At least a friend of mine, who is a Himeko fan, uses this build. Also, I saw people running full quantum set on her or 2+2 fire + follow-up attack. Ruan Mei has good synergy with himeko because himeko's follow-up attack depends on break. Himeko and blade will work if there are enemies with winds and fire weakness I think. Blade works as a 2nd dps with many chars, bc he barely uses skill points
in my opinion clara is one of the most valuable character in the standard banner, definitely she deserves higher spot, kafka and topaz is also futureproof character because dot and follow up attack is very unique
Because Pure Fiction is going to be the sister End game alongside MoC, I believe a meta shakeup involving Erudition will be warranted soon. Folks shouldn't sleep on their Himikos, Hertas, and Servals just because of the current single target/blast alternatives exist.
My E0 Himeko is still at Level 1, but I am planning to build her as soon as I build Ruan Mei :) And I still need to build Hanya and Asta... It is crazy how much resources this game requires to build characters.
I think march is just really circumstantial and needs the eidolons I've been using march as a solo sustain since I got her e6 but only for really speedy teams with asta and or hanya. March, jing yuan, topaz asta March, argenti, hanya, bronya

He's providing his opinion on the pull/build value of these respective characters--again, without saying that you *shouldn't or can't* play any of them. Just felt like a lot recommended characters are pretty boring to use but I never disagreed with his list in terms of value. I think jingliu should be on most should wish bc shes so good. I also think that sampo, guinaifin, himiko and yanqin should be in good option. They all are pretty good if you build them. I also think you should move jingyuan down a tier cause hes one of the not as good dps's. And i also think u could keep fu xuan up there in most should pull cause from my experience most of the time she can sustain without another preservation or abundance.
I feel like Gepard if you have him he is a must have because the content he can clear is amazing and I think he is one of the best choices for you as a tank so you don’t need a healer built right Gepard is the best SUSTAIN in the game
As strong as ruan Mei is likely going to be. I'm unsure wether ot not it's worth me pulling for her right now when I currently lack any 5 star DPS or sustainers. I'm thinking of trying to get blade especially with tingyun on the banner who I don't have yet.
If you consider we have Black Swan as another wind 5*dps coming in 2.0 and you are getting a limited 5* dps with Dr. Ration, i would say Blade's stock is not as strong as it was without these two pieces of info. Also considering how cracked Ruan Mei's kit is, she might just buff a regular Sampo or any other 4* to almost the same lvl as Blade, while being more flexible (blade's hyper carry potential is simply not on the same level with Jingliu/DHIL tbh) with that said, blade is cool as f and i would personally try to get both ruan and blade if i wasnt saving to get black swan for my kafka (have a hard pity and a soft pity saved up)
@@NeTruaSsIn I can see your point. But that brings a different set of questions for me. Is Black Swan going to be useable as a main DPS or if is she going to pretty much be a kafka party member. I have also considered the fact pf Dr. Ratio as I did pull silverwolf as my first limited and it seems like she should have decent synergy. (My standard being Bronya.) I'm currently sitting on a 50/50 with just enough pulls to hit it. I figure even if I lose at least i'd guarantee a loucha for sustain.
@@sleepy3474 ahh if you have bronya, than ruan's def lower on the piority imo, and with tinyun on there too blade's banner does look pretty good. My only concern is that, blade is not as cracked a hyper carry as DHIL/jingliu, and with us moving into 2.0, the new dps we will get are prob going to be on a diff power lvl, so i personally have doubt in putting pulls into blade when it could be a dps like jingliu. But im also saving for BS cuz shes mommy, so take it with a grain of salt lolz On that note, I believe BS will be completely fine on her own. Ppl said the same thing about Kafka, that she wouldnt function without a 5* dot dps, but turns out shes fully capable on her own and flexible with other 5*. Plus the fact that BS will be the first char in 2.0 i think she will be even more cracked than ppl predict
@@NeTruaSsInBigger problem is there's no telling when id see a rerun for Jinglu/Dan. And to that point...for all we know by the time they may possibly rerun. We may end up with even stronger DPS. It's a possibility. As a new player it's rather tricky trying to make a decision. I probably should be saving for good sustainers. but I'm entirely depending on reruns that could be months away.
@@sleepy3474 big tin foil hat here. They skipped JIng Yuan and luocha for rerun, both of them i personally dont think too highly about. If you asked me i prob would have predicted a rerun of kafka only for 1.6, since shes one of the next duo limited 5* and BS is coming up. So im thinking the next chars to rerun will prob be one of jingyuan/luocha + DHIL/Fuxuan, if not both DHIL and fuxuan, since both of them are still pretty top tier unlike jingyuan luocha. If you think about it, id say 90% sure there will be a sustain rerun in 2.0. If im in your shoes, id fully save for a sustain in 2.0 and if theres left over pull, get BS or wait for a DHIL/jingliu rerun
As a f2p, I got Yanging on the beginner banner, Silver Wolf E1 on her first rerun and Ruan Mei recently. Interesting to see where you put the 5*s I have on the list. Edit: Really pleased to find out Dr. Ratio would be given free and is honestly broken
I got 2 5*s, Yanqing(20pity) and Bronya (guaranteed 50) on my beginner's banner. Honestly,I think the Yanqing hate is a bit too much. I don't use him a lot nowadays but his damage is okay and he has follow up attacks too. Also he's a cute kid. I like his character.
The irony of my first limited banner five-star being a loss to Bronya on Silver Wolf's debut. Might would consider getting her E1 over any of my missing standards once I get to the 300-warp choice.
silver wolf remains must-pull to me. you don't even have to build her perfectly to get good results! but man, this was me as a nihility heavy account with no five star harmony (still, and by now i'm over it) PLUS my main in "only if you like them": LMAO!!!! WHAT?! uh okay that's an interesting take. i get that you're going for future proof, but i believe characters who have more than one viable build should be higher in the list. also, if a five star path/element comes out that doesn't absolutely bury the four star exact same path/element, you gotta consider that as well. IMO anyone who dumps Sampo into any kind of lower tier is doing a disservice to those who believe it without looking into characters for themselves. Sampo does amazing damage and is still in my main team. he got steady use when I had only him as support, too. nihility has never done me wrong, and yes, I do MOC clears (since that's seemingly how some people determine validity of opinion). then again, we always put a lot into the characters we love, right? wishing you early gold and 50/50 wins!
Solid list! Agreed on most takes. :) My only nitpicks would be - I'd switch Hanya with Asta. As more buffers/debuffers enter the fray, Asta needs a few eidolons to feel like she can compete with Pela/Hanya who are both great at E0. Once you do, she's definitely a 'should build' for most accounts though. - Clara can definitely be part of your main dps roster, she's a bit more situational but it's rare for her to be useless on both sides. - Lynx falls behind almost as much as Natasha, her only saving grace is the group cleanse. I feel you'll want to upgrade out of her pretty soon though. We'll see how Pure Fiction will shake things up!
I was curious when I'd see the Lynx mention. Just to add my two cents: you need E2 Lynx for her to be a better value sustain - her stopping debuffs is actually quite crazy, and her aggro generation on her skill can give her a place on specific teams. Less "need 2-3 of these" and more "good option" tier. The pivot I made from E0 Lynx to E0 Huo Huo was unbelievable and immediately noticeable, but I think that's just due to the team I had - Lynx has some power other healers don't. She also works for mono Quantum if you missed Fu Xuan.
I was debating on if I should pull for Silver Wolf or Ruan Mei but now I got my answer. And yeah yeah I know different roles, SW is debuffer/weakness adding, one is buffing so on so forth but my star jades are limited.
Did an impulsive 10 pull on fu xuan’s banner and got c2 thinking she wasn’t very good but holy shit she carries me through all the content of the game. Best 10 pull i’ve ever made lol
I'm new to star rail, but Heartha+ March+ Asta + Guin just complete removes any kind of AOE farm, like the book farms take less then 30 seconds, because of so much crazy aoe. But then again, I don't know what the end game is like, AOE probably isn't that important
I will say with Dr Ratio, Sparkle and possibly others, their advancement is locked behind the really frustrating swarm king boss, I'm still stuck there :(

From my experience just getting to trailblaze level 65 last week, probably Fu Xuan, Huo Huo, or any other limited 5 star sustain. If you are at the correct level for the content, you throw one of them in your party and can auto battle most combat content. Add one of them plus any other sustain and you’re unkillable in the main story battles (a bit like playing Zhongli in Genshin - it may take a while but you will complete the encounter). I typically auto battle the 3 times per week bosses with Fu Xuan + Lynx + anyone … the anyone usually being Serval because I built her a while ago, but the free Ratio will probably do better.
I just started an I’m actually lacking DPS…I have Dan Heng, Traveler Physical, Qingque, and Serval. But my most successful team so far has been Physical Traveler, Dan Heng, Bailu, and then either March, Asta, or Qingque.
I think Fu Xuan should be on MUST PULL tier. She is so broken. Even Luocha cant' compete with her. Yeah, super SP positive is really good and also easy to build, but still i sometimes end up with someone dies in Luocha team (usually due to Luocha being stunned or limited emergency heal proc). And HuoHuo also is great with big amount of cleanse in her kit and offensive capabilites but she can't save from one shot or if enemy focused on one team member. Man... i wish i have two Fu Xuans in my acc lol. And i also agree with the most of people in the comments: Himeko and Herta in Good Option tier. Himeko already deserves it and Herta due to Pure Fiction coming soon. Guinaifen in the same tier bcz any damage dealer can benefit from her debuffs. Don't need Kafka to be good option. Clara in two+ of these tier. Still great since 1.0. Best standart 5 star after Bronya. Hanya in Most Should Build. Overall slightly better than Asta and more flexible. And i still think SW deserves to be Most Should Build. Her debuffs is insane.
I am a new player, should i pull for Silver Wolf or wait for Ruin Mae....... I'm just a day into the game so I'm still trying to get to know the game, further my adventure rank(i mean the trailblaze something, dont quite remember), and get characters. I dont have anyone built yet, but i got Welt, Pela and now the other free characters. Those are all my characters. I will appreciate any advice I get
Get Ruan mei and then save the wishes for 2.0... you will get a Dr ratio for free anyways who is supposedly a pretty good hunt dps. Look out for good synnergy after that.. SW is a great character for someone starting out but Ruan mei is supposedly cracked and you don't want to miss her. If you are a fan of specific playstyles, then characters that come to mind are SW is a must have for mono quantum, Kafka a must have for dot teams and topaz a must have for follow up based teams, Ruan mei might give rise to some new meta based on weakness breaks.

@@FR33CSS_ Well we are all getting Dr. Ratio right after Blade and Ruan Mei's banner ends and Dr. Ratio's starts so you will be covered soon enough when comes to a dps. As far as who to get 🤷 I'm kind of new too and basically making all my decisions for Blade. Blade works with Jingliu and I think she's cool I pulled for her. Blade really wants his lightcone hoping to pull that as well. Ruan Mei enables dual dps teams like the one I'm making for Blade I guess I have to try for her afterwards too. For me knowing that I want one unit just kind of leads me anywhere else I need to go.
@@LivthaSince you're new you might be able to get both. 100% get both. Xueyi, according to leaks, is looking to be an incredible DPS and works great with Ruan Mei. Yeah, she's a 4 star, but just like Qingque she's looking to be an incredibly strong 4 star. Either way, between Blade, Ruan Mei, Xueyi, and Tingyun (all characters you can pull early next patch) and then Dr. Ratio who you get for free, you'll be set with 3 really strong damage dealers and 2 great supports for them. You can't go wrong pulling for both Blade and Ruan Mei I feel.
I’m so not interested in getting ruan mei since I have every harmony unit built and invested in + I want hanabi for that quantum team, I’d rather get kafka, so I’m thinking what I should do 🤕
Clara should put a Two+ of these. Cause of her value, she can be second sustain, skill point generator, and sub-dps for DHIL,JL Topaz, zeela,etc. Good tier-list 👍
It's always like this in every Gacha game. Supports have a much superior staying power compared to DPS units that get powercrept every other update. Whenever I pick up a new gacha, I always try to aim for the support units given on the newbie banners and equivalent.
Same here. I took a break after 1.0 cuz of my exams and came back on 1.5 last week just to find out how many great units I've missed now waiting for fu xuan and jingliu
i believe that silver wolf is honestly a character that most people should build if they are f2p. The weakness apply and defense shred has honestly made so much content easier because sometimes you just dont have the element the enemy is weak to.
I think you underrated Hanya. She's just so good and easy to build, too. The fact that her kit does not depend on any of her stats other than speed, makes her very strong, as you can build her as DPS as well. That and the fact that she helps your team gain skill points is very valuable. Plus she's so effin' hot!
In my opinion, Fu Xuan is a must pull solely because she has a lot more utility for your account than any other sustain can provide. For Swarm Disaster or Golden Gears if you don't have Gepard, it's really hard, if you do have Gepard, his synergy with her in these modes is impeccable, especially for Golden Gears, it's super tough if you don't either kill them fast enough, or crowd control good enough. For MoC 10, she can save you a lot of headaches, and makes auto battling most fights a piece of cake if you have a good enough DPS and Supports. She is also straightforward to build and doesn't require much investment in order to see flourishing returns.
My Personal takes: Fu Xuan - shes on the league with Bronya on how strong she is. The ability to make ur squishiest unit to be giga-tanky is quite big. Also has crit buff, hp buff and prevents CC on allies. Shes superstacked and imo she was undervalued on that list Jingliu should go up. Its not a matter of not needing to deal high amounts of damage but rather its the ease of building the unit while still doing their job. Since Jingliu is a unit that gives herself 2.1k atk and 50% crit rate, building her with even just prioritizing set + main stat is feasible on which it allows u to still clear the hardest content of the game with super low investment. I wouldnt put Huohuo on the same league as Fu Xuan as if I had to choose between the 2, its always Fu Xuan. You can praise her energy distribution and all but what Huohuo provides vs what Fu Xuan provides, its not even close.

Jingliu doesnt deserve to be in the must pull because shes a damage dealer and there will be future dps characters who will definitely exceed her damage and self buffs as this is a honkai game which is prone to powercreep

@RuanMeisDeodorant but DPS units are easily powercrept than support units. I am a Jingliu enjoyer but I agree to this list. Also, I can also see why he thinks huohuo is a better pick meta-wise and fuxuan is for comfort. When you have highly invested units, they won't need that much tankyness. Fuxuan excells in preventing your allies to be oneshotted but if you get oneshotted it's more of a build and investment issue. On the other hand, huohuo provides more than enough healing anyway and she provides tons of cleanse. Her synergy with Tingyun is hella good too. Her team wide energy regen and team wide atk buff is hella good with Ruan Mei too and they could be both used in a double dps team. One might say that fuxuan gives team wide crit rate which is awesome but you can have too much crit rate by overcapping whereas you can never have too much attack buff.
@@syn357 We'll get a free lynx next patch, so you can still play monoquantum without fu xuan. HSR doesn't have as many characters as genshin so, don't worry, her rerun should be quite fast (a few months prob)
I'm really enjoying this game but my problem is I started playing after all the good dps units were released so my best dps I have is Himeko that I pulled off my starter pulls. Also I hate the design of all the healers in this game. Natasha is by far my favorite of the bunch. I don't like building male or little girl characters in a game like this, so Huo Huo, Lynx, Bailu are all NOs for me.

She reminds me of Asta in the sense that shes amazing in some teams and just good in others but i think shes fits more teams than Asta overall. I use them both just a little less than Tingyun since i dont have Bronya yet (6 pulls away!!!). Good list
From a dolphin with 34 characters who comfortably clears with 30 MOC: very solid looking list that actually makes sense. It's not based on 1 vs 1 power, but one that makes a balanced multi team roster. Very smart. If there's one nuance that's not touched on, it's that certain characters need secondary characters to be viable at all. For instance, you're not going to build Kafka unless you also build Topaz or 1+ of the 4 star DoT supports. That muddies both your "Build 2+" DPS tier as well as "Only if you like them" tier. There's no easy way to simplify this unfortunately as there are plenty of other conditional characters, e.g. Jing Yuan needs a very exact team, DHIL needs a very exact team, etc. Out of all Sustain units, Fu Xuan is the only one a tier above the rest. Why? Fu Xuan lets people clear content that is otherwise impossible for their roster. Properly built, Fu Xuan can solo carry Sim Universe, and lets you push further in MOC than your account can with any other sustain. Huo Huo cannot do either. In MOC, all Huo Huo will do in the most optimal form is allow you to clear a round one single turn faster than usual. This is an edge case, versus Fu Xuan who massively lowers the defense requirements for your entire team 100% of the time throughout 100% of all content. Asta is will always be better than Hanya, because mob levels and therefore mob Speeds are increasing. Asta is the only support who can keep your entire team from getting lapped -- it's simply not possible or optimal to build all your units at 180+ Speed. Hanya's single target Speed buff is not designed to do anything other than to allow your main DPS to use Attack % boots instead of Speed boots. Her SP gains allows you to run SP hungry teams, but not all teams can even take advantage of the extra SP generation. Having used Hanya in all my teams the past week, I've found that overflowing at max SP is a very common occurrence, e.g. Fu Xuan + E1S1 Bronya + Hanya w/Bronya LC + E6 QQ, I'm regularly overcapped on SP, because QQ's SP use is inconsistent. Asta can easily drop in to virtually any team comp. Hanya can't, and is often a DPS loss compared to other Harmony units, e.g. on duo DPS teams.

Kafka can be used in a hypercarry team but if you are building her it is implied that want to build other dots And you really are exaggerating on Asta, you never need a char with 180 Speed to fight any enemy, and your example about Hanya is very bad, because you say you are overflowing on skill points but using a bronya lc on both harmonys and an e1 Bronya like what do you want to happen? And as you said QQ dont use her skill point consistently
Me liking JingYuan and DHIL - man I sure like problematic men. Jokes aside, what is the exact team for DHIL? I'm planning for him on the rerun but if I need any specific units then maybe I should just... not? (for example I'm not planning on having Luocha since I have Fu Xuan and Huohuo). For Jing I'm using him with Asta, Tingyun and Fu, not sure if there's more I can do for him?
As someone maining seele and IL, I definitely prefer my E0 hanya over my E4 asta 😅. I barely used asta anyways but hanya came in handy a lot this moc cycle (probably used her in 9-10 teams this time around). I normally build my supports fast ( all are between 134-160+. Speed while my carries are 120-125ish speed (attk boots) so hanya speed buff on one carry is enough ) and the extra damage buffs and sp is godsend for my sp hungry teams
I dislike the idea that your quingque as a two of with the "disclaimer "of E4. Like you put Asta higher, but told us not to wish for her. Seems a bit contradicting. Then most DPS get better with the more investment you put in.
As a Day 1 player, i disagree with your natasha take..but then again the only other healer i have is the dragon loli lol. Then again i do also have Fu Xuan so those 2 are pretty much staples in my team
I think Xueyi will be the next QQ, quite possibly better overall when factoring QQ RNG and SP. Xueyi eidolons are all good but none are broken, only caveat is Xueyi needs Ruan Mei, but otherwise a lot of people expected Xueyi to get nerfed in Beta, which never happened.
I actually also thought of different modes we have in HSR: it is not only about MoC. In Swarm Disaster, in numerous events, we can benefit from specific characters more than from others. I did not use March a lot, but she carried me through 75% of Swarm Disaster (before I pulled Fu Xuan). Himeko is only said to be not that good, but that is because there was no Grand Duke set in the beginning, and there are more synergistic characters now. Looks like we are still in that stage in HSR where we were in the first year of Genshin, when Bennett was ranked as B (not sure, I did not play then, but I saw some old videos) and Qiqi was S+ tier :)
As someone who didn't pull for Argenti specifically because of how broken I think Sushang is, surprised she's in the bottom tier, but I do know it's opinion based. She's a really solid character.
i would def put Welt into should build as a lot people underestimate the usage of speed control when trying to mitigate dmg did to your team, a fast and ult focused welt can completely lock down enemies.

For Jingliu and Tingyun, you likely couldn't go wrong with Pela and a healer. Pela's defense shred will maximize your damage, and a sustainer will keep your team fighting through Jingliu's HP drain and enemy damage If you don't have Pela you can get her for free in the shop using stardust this month, and even at E0 she is a top tier pick You could also consider Bronya + a Sustain if you have her, Bronya goes very well with Jingliu

having e2 hanya is actually cracked. Jingyuan gets so fast that i seem to ult way more than usual. i think hypercarry team might prefer hanya over asta but dual dps and such might want asta instead
who should I pull? In terms of DPS I have seele, Kafka and free dr ratio, Sustainers I have Huohuo and lynx, and support I only have tingyun and hanya and only tingyun is built Who should I pull black swan, sparkle, or DHIL( who is rumoured to be rerun in 2.0)
Few disagreements here personally: 1) Bailu, Seele & Asta are too high. Bailu has progressively been worsening as the lack of a cleanse is absolutely vile vs more & more enemies. Seele, whilest a good DPS, will become worse as enemies get tankier (and also less enemies have a quantum weakness relative to 1.0) and asta whilest solid & free, will most likely not be future proof unless you have specific units who benefit from her spd like Jing Yuan. 2) Kafka should 100% be higher. She, unlike every other DPS, is someone who we don't know the potential of, as she's a pretty specific niche. With DoT units surely coming beyond 2.0, she will definitely be far more future proof than someone like seele, QQ, Blade, Jingliu, etc... 3) As much as I love tingyun, she's not a must build. She should be in the tier pela's in. We will 100% get either more universal supports vs her, or units who do what she does, but better. Leaks incoming, if you do not want to be spoiled for characters in 2.0, DO NOT GO BEYOND THIS, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO BEYOND THIS TEXT. Sparkle is a buffer who can advance forward & give an unholy amount of crit dmg on her skill & recover skill points whilest buffing her talent on her ult. She also permanently increases your total skill point cap to 7. She will be an incredibly unit for DHIL or any SP heavy team, and I see this as a reason to put DHIL up a tier or even 2. Black Swan is a nihility who applies DoT & will have synergy with Kafka, reasoning for my upgrade on her tier.

Agree. Will pull Luocha during his rerun. I like auto and passive healing. Combine it with his E1 and HH LC, he becomes hybrid between abundant and Harmony.
Mostly this tier is for rich people's that doing pull up 😂 meanwhile we the one using free crystal just by playing low tier characters so much better..
Why ist luocha so underrated Hes so good he carry every Game i managed to fight enemies with Higher Level than my characters and win and all i have him ist random stuff
I would say hanya is better than asta due to her unique sp generation, and surprisingly good skill break efficiency and good multiplier. i have been using her against physical weak enemies, and she honestly break toughness better than all other 4 star dps, since you would naturally build her to be faster than most dps. Also i would put Guinaifen to at least "Good option" and would personally put her higher since i run kafka team. But even without kafka, she is still quite awesome because 1. her dot multiplier is quite good, and she can trigger her own dot with ult; 2. her skill and ult does aoe and even when not well invested, she functions as a good fire breaker, considering other fire break options are limited to himeko and hook atm ; 3. the debuff she gives to enemies can be a more efficient dmg increase compared to regular atk buffs in some teams In general, since i dont like running solo dps hyper carry teams, i think some of the 4 star dps could be put into "good options", especially if ppl are missing a certain element breaker. From my experience, Serval Sampo and Guinaifen are all good sub dps and break toughness pretty well if theres no other options, and with higher Eidolons+better investment that we will get slowly, their dmg will become good as well. Maybe another tier for "good if lacking elements", but i guess "good option" is fine too. When it comes down to be i just think putting them in the same tier with phys mc and arlan is a bit too much
I started playing right when Jingqiu came out and got her, then I got HouHou from her banner because I needed a healer, and then my pulls added up to get bronya from my 200 total, and I just got Ruan Mei, so my first team is pretty good, but I still have some kinks to work out with my second team. I think I can polish it up with Kefka from the next wave, and then Black Swan
I think the tier list changes with team comps.. for ex, for dot team enjoyers , kafka would be a must pull , for mono quantum , sw would be must pull and so on
After a bit more usage, I can say Hanya is great! I’d put her pretty high because of the skill point regeneration and speed and damage boost she gives. She’s a great harmony unit for any skill point hungry dps.

As others have said Hanya is likely better than asta and should be in most should build~ just since she’s new and hot I didn’t want to be biased so I played it safe. But it makes sense
just wanna say, you don't need to build loucha ... simply is that mf requires 0 gear, and a 1/6/6/6 is enough for him to function.

She's so versatile - you can build her full dot or you can build her full support with the Pearls of Sweat lightcone. The sheer amount of dots she inflics is crazy because they can spread so she's great for Kafka. Her built-in damage taken is great so you're pretty much able to slot her into any team and she'll provide value. And then the Pearls of Sweat lightcone makes her a viable support for Dr. Ratio as she can inflict 3 separate debuffs at once (burn, firekiss, pearls of sweat def reduction). She can provide so much value no matter how you build her. As a non-Kafka haver I have her on the debuff support build and I plan to use her with my future Dr. Ratio.
I agree with this but shes pretty mediocre unless you use a kafka team.
That being said, shes one of ym favorite characters and i pulled for her E6 and also shes fully maxed out in traces lmao...I love her so much
Using her with dr ratio is like a last resort. She isn’t good with him. Also he pretty much put every 4 star in the bottom tier.

For me, a f2p player, Guinafen is a most should build/wish; I don't have it in my principal account, in the second account I got it and is insane with and without Kafka. The debuff to enemies of damage taken increase by X% is insane, and similar to Ultimate of Pela, is a great option as a debuffer in every team and, obviously, the Dot's team

Guinaifen is just pela who can actually do damage I don't understand why people overrate pela but forget about guinaifen she is as powerful as pela as debuffer and more flexible I didn't get her even after 30+ pull on topaz banner and it really hurts she is one of my fav unit of this game. hope I'll get her soon
as f2p, I got bronya and her LC at 26 pity each and I don't think I can beat MoC without her.. she is so flexible and easy to build
Honestly bronya isn't that much easier if u want to use her with other dps-es since in one case she needs to be fast or slow so ya and she needs higher crit dmg too

By no means, she's flexible but not easy to build. 😅 Speed tuning is very hard. It really depends on the DPS's speed. I have multiple relics just for that. I think I still have a very long way to get specific speed for each DPS.
I think Himeko is definitely in "Good Option," she's always been overhated but she's gotten some nice buffs over time as well. The follow up set improved her damage a fair amount, content has been trending towards requiring more AoE lately, and Pure Fiction is about to make her even better. She also wasn't completely outclassed by the limited character of the same element like Yanqing, and in fact Himeko and Topaz work beautifully together so it can actually be worth building Himeko even if you plan on getting Topaz.
I think you definitely undersold Luocha a lot in your discussion. His out-of-turn healing/cleanse is incredibly comfortable, and with follow up attackers it makes you practically immortal to everything except one-shots. Clara + Luocha feels like an illegal combo, but Kafka and Topaz have consistent follow ups too. And you basically never need to use any skill points with Luocha, which is huge for certain team comps. And he's absurdly cheap to build, mine is still level 70 with like level 5 traces and some random cope relics I slapped on him back in 1.1. I never needed to update his build because it just works lol
And Clara is so good I would honestly say she could go into "2+ of these." She can absolutely be one of your main carries if built well, and she's very tanky too. She was an invaluable pull very early on in my account before I had two 5 star sustains because her tankiness and high aggro helped me survive a lot of encounters I was undergeared for at the time.

I agree, Luocha is pretty good, and he's the best option for sill point negative teams. Been using him all the time since I got him. Without him, playing IL would feel terrible.

@@MaCherrie 4pc grand duke set (follow-up attack set), build atk and crit as usual + salsotto planar sphere (fire dmg) and rope (atk). At least a friend of mine, who is a Himeko fan, uses this build. Also, I saw people running full quantum set on her or 2+2 fire + follow-up attack. Ruan Mei has good synergy with himeko because himeko's follow-up attack depends on break. Himeko and blade will work if there are enemies with winds and fire weakness I think. Blade works as a 2nd dps with many chars, bc he barely uses skill points

in my opinion clara is one of the most valuable character in the standard banner, definitely she deserves higher spot, kafka and topaz is also futureproof character because dot and follow up attack is very unique

Because Pure Fiction is going to be the sister End game alongside MoC, I believe a meta shakeup involving Erudition will be warranted soon. Folks shouldn't sleep on their Himikos, Hertas, and Servals just because of the current single target/blast alternatives exist.
My E0 Himeko is still at Level 1, but I am planning to build her as soon as I build Ruan Mei :) And I still need to build Hanya and Asta... It is crazy how much resources this game requires to build characters.

I think jingliu should be on most should wish bc shes so good. I also think that sampo, guinaifin, himiko and yanqin should be in good option. They all are pretty good if you build them. I also think you should move jingyuan down a tier cause hes one of the not as good dps's. And i also think u could keep fu xuan up there in most should pull cause from my experience most of the time she can sustain without another preservation or abundance.
All I’m saying is Luocha and Blade literally carry my team. Excellent combo and would highly recommend! Same thing with Luocha and Jingliu.
I feel like Gepard if you have him he is a must have because the content he can clear is amazing and I think he is one of the best choices for you as a tank so you don’t need a healer built right Gepard is the best SUSTAIN in the game
As strong as ruan Mei is likely going to be. I'm unsure wether ot not it's worth me pulling for her right now when I currently lack any 5 star DPS or sustainers. I'm thinking of trying to get blade especially with tingyun on the banner who I don't have yet.
If you consider we have Black Swan as another wind 5*dps coming in 2.0 and you are getting a limited 5* dps with Dr. Ration, i would say Blade's stock is not as strong as it was without these two pieces of info. Also considering how cracked Ruan Mei's kit is, she might just buff a regular Sampo or any other 4* to almost the same lvl as Blade, while being more flexible (blade's hyper carry potential is simply not on the same level with Jingliu/DHIL tbh)
with that said, blade is cool as f and i would personally try to get both ruan and blade if i wasnt saving to get black swan for my kafka (have a hard pity and a soft pity saved up)

My only concern is that, blade is not as cracked a hyper carry as DHIL/jingliu, and with us moving into 2.0, the new dps we will get are prob going to be on a diff power lvl, so i personally have doubt in putting pulls into blade when it could be a dps like jingliu. But im also saving for BS cuz shes mommy, so take it with a grain of salt lolz
On that note, I believe BS will be completely fine on her own. Ppl said the same thing about Kafka, that she wouldnt function without a 5* dot dps, but turns out shes fully capable on her own and flexible with other 5*. Plus the fact that BS will be the first char in 2.0 i think she will be even more cracked than ppl predict

As a new player it's rather tricky trying to make a decision. I probably should be saving for good sustainers. but I'm entirely depending on reruns that could be months away.
@@sleepy3474 big tin foil hat here. They skipped JIng Yuan and luocha for rerun, both of them i personally dont think too highly about. If you asked me i prob would have predicted a rerun of kafka only for 1.6, since shes one of the next duo limited 5* and BS is coming up. So im thinking the next chars to rerun will prob be one of jingyuan/luocha + DHIL/Fuxuan, if not both DHIL and fuxuan, since both of them are still pretty top tier unlike jingyuan luocha. If you think about it, id say 90% sure there will be a sustain rerun in 2.0.
If im in your shoes, id fully save for a sustain in 2.0 and if theres left over pull, get BS or wait for a DHIL/jingliu rerun
As a f2p, I got Yanging on the beginner banner, Silver Wolf E1 on her first rerun and Ruan Mei recently. Interesting to see where you put the 5*s I have on the list.

I got 2 5*s, Yanqing(20pity) and Bronya (guaranteed 50) on my beginner's banner. Honestly,I think the Yanqing hate is a bit too much. I don't use him a lot nowadays but his damage is okay and he has follow up attacks too. Also he's a cute kid. I like his character.
Uh... if you get an early, you don't get the guaranteed 50. You just lucked out big time (give me the child, mf been dodging my jades since launch)
The irony of my first limited banner five-star being a loss to Bronya on Silver Wolf's debut. Might would consider getting her E1 over any of my missing standards once I get to the 300-warp choice.

i get that you're going for future proof, but i believe characters who have more than one viable build should be higher in the list. also, if a five star path/element comes out that doesn't absolutely bury the four star exact same path/element, you gotta consider that as well.
IMO anyone who dumps Sampo into any kind of lower tier is doing a disservice to those who believe it without looking into characters for themselves. Sampo does amazing damage and is still in my main team. he got steady use when I had only him as support, too. nihility has never done me wrong, and yes, I do MOC clears (since that's seemingly how some people determine validity of opinion).
then again, we always put a lot into the characters we love, right? wishing you early gold and 50/50 wins!
FX is a must build for sure. She can tank lots of damage that can one shot your other characters. Skill point neutral and fast Ult reload.

My only nitpicks would be
- I'd switch Hanya with Asta. As more buffers/debuffers enter the fray, Asta needs a few eidolons to feel like she can compete with Pela/Hanya who are both great at E0. Once you do, she's definitely a 'should build' for most accounts though.
- Clara can definitely be part of your main dps roster, she's a bit more situational but it's rare for her to be useless on both sides.
- Lynx falls behind almost as much as Natasha, her only saving grace is the group cleanse. I feel you'll want to upgrade out of her pretty soon though.
We'll see how Pure Fiction will shake things up!
I was curious when I'd see the Lynx mention. Just to add my two cents: you need E2 Lynx for her to be a better value sustain - her stopping debuffs is actually quite crazy, and her aggro generation on her skill can give her a place on specific teams. Less "need 2-3 of these" and more "good option" tier. The pivot I made from E0 Lynx to E0 Huo Huo was unbelievable and immediately noticeable, but I think that's just due to the team I had - Lynx has some power other healers don't. She also works for mono Quantum if you missed Fu Xuan.
Lynx competes with Luocha in solo sustaining so maybe not.
I was debating on if I should pull for Silver Wolf or Ruan Mei but now I got my answer. And yeah yeah I know different roles, SW is debuffer/weakness adding, one is buffing so on so forth but my star jades are limited.
Did an impulsive 10 pull on fu xuan’s banner and got c2 thinking she wasn’t very good but holy shit she carries me through all the content of the game. Best 10 pull i’ve ever made lol
I'm new to star rail, but Heartha+ March+ Asta + Guin just complete removes any kind of AOE farm, like the book farms take less then 30 seconds, because of so much crazy aoe.
But then again, I don't know what the end game is like, AOE probably isn't that important

I will say with Dr Ratio, Sparkle and possibly others, their advancement is locked behind the really frustrating swarm king boss, I'm still stuck there :(

From my experience just getting to trailblaze level 65 last week, probably Fu Xuan, Huo Huo, or any other limited 5 star sustain.
If you are at the correct level for the content, you throw one of them in your party and can auto battle most combat content.
Add one of them plus any other sustain and you’re unkillable in the main story battles (a bit like playing Zhongli in Genshin - it may take a while but you will complete the encounter). I typically auto battle the 3 times per week bosses with Fu Xuan + Lynx + anyone … the anyone usually being Serval because I built her a while ago, but the free Ratio will probably do better.
This is the most usefull tier list I've watched !

I just started an I’m actually lacking DPS…I have Dan Heng, Traveler Physical, Qingque, and Serval. But my most successful team so far has been Physical Traveler, Dan Heng, Bailu, and then either March, Asta, or Qingque.
Dps- Qinque
Sub dps- serval
Harmony - Asta
Sustain- Bailu
I think Fu Xuan should be on MUST PULL tier. She is so broken. Even Luocha cant' compete with her. Yeah, super SP positive is really good and also easy to build, but still i sometimes end up with someone dies in Luocha team (usually due to Luocha being stunned or limited emergency heal proc). And HuoHuo also is great with big amount of cleanse in her kit and offensive capabilites but she can't save from one shot or if enemy focused on one team member. Man... i wish i have two Fu Xuans in my acc lol.
And i also agree with the most of people in the comments:
Himeko and Herta in Good Option tier. Himeko already deserves it and Herta due to Pure Fiction coming soon. Guinaifen in the same tier bcz any damage dealer can benefit from her debuffs. Don't need Kafka to be good option.
Clara in two+ of these tier. Still great since 1.0. Best standart 5 star after Bronya.
Hanya in Most Should Build. Overall slightly better than Asta and more flexible.
And i still think SW deserves to be Most Should Build. Her debuffs is insane.
I am a new player, should i pull for Silver Wolf or wait for Ruin Mae....... I'm just a day into the game so I'm still trying to get to know the game, further my adventure rank(i mean the trailblaze something, dont quite remember), and get characters. I dont have anyone built yet, but i got Welt, Pela and now the other free characters. Those are all my characters.

Get Ruan mei and then save the wishes for 2.0... you will get a Dr ratio for free anyways who is supposedly a pretty good hunt dps. Look out for good synnergy after that.. SW is a great character for someone starting out but Ruan mei is supposedly cracked and you don't want to miss her.
If you are a fan of specific playstyles, then characters that come to mind are SW is a must have for mono quantum, Kafka a must have for dot teams and topaz a must have for follow up based teams, Ruan mei might give rise to some new meta based on weakness breaks.
Save everything and pull on Ruan Mei's banner, every character is good for your account.

@@FR33CSS_ Well we are all getting Dr. Ratio right after Blade and Ruan Mei's banner ends and Dr. Ratio's starts so you will be covered soon enough when comes to a dps. As far as who to get 🤷 I'm kind of new too and basically making all my decisions for Blade. Blade works with Jingliu and I think she's cool I pulled for her. Blade really wants his lightcone hoping to pull that as well. Ruan Mei enables dual dps teams like the one I'm making for Blade I guess I have to try for her afterwards too. For me knowing that I want one unit just kind of leads me anywhere else I need to go.
@@LivthaSince you're new you might be able to get both. 100% get both. Xueyi, according to leaks, is looking to be an incredible DPS and works great with Ruan Mei. Yeah, she's a 4 star, but just like Qingque she's looking to be an incredibly strong 4 star. Either way, between Blade, Ruan Mei, Xueyi, and Tingyun (all characters you can pull early next patch) and then Dr. Ratio who you get for free, you'll be set with 3 really strong damage dealers and 2 great supports for them. You can't go wrong pulling for both Blade and Ruan Mei I feel.

It's always like this in every Gacha game. Supports have a much superior staying power compared to DPS units that get powercrept every other update.
Whenever I pick up a new gacha, I always try to aim for the support units given on the newbie banners and equivalent.

i believe that silver wolf is honestly a character that most people should build if they are f2p. The weakness apply and defense shred has honestly made so much content easier because sometimes you just dont have the element the enemy is weak to.
I think you underrated Hanya. She's just so good and easy to build, too. The fact that her kit does not depend on any of her stats other than speed, makes her very strong, as you can build her as DPS as well. That and the fact that she helps your team gain skill points is very valuable. Plus she's so effin' hot!
In my opinion, Fu Xuan is a must pull solely because she has a lot more utility for your account than any other sustain can provide. For Swarm Disaster or Golden Gears if you don't have Gepard, it's really hard, if you do have Gepard, his synergy with her in these modes is impeccable, especially for Golden Gears, it's super tough if you don't either kill them fast enough, or crowd control good enough. For MoC 10, she can save you a lot of headaches, and makes auto battling most fights a piece of cake if you have a good enough DPS and Supports. She is also straightforward to build and doesn't require much investment in order to see flourishing returns.
Well, Fu Xuan solo the Cocolia boss fight and save my run one time, she is the one of the best sustain units by far.
My Personal takes:
Fu Xuan - shes on the league with Bronya on how strong she is. The ability to make ur squishiest unit to be giga-tanky is quite big. Also has crit buff, hp buff and prevents CC on allies. Shes superstacked and imo she was undervalued on that list
Jingliu should go up. Its not a matter of not needing to deal high amounts of damage but rather its the ease of building the unit while still doing their job. Since Jingliu is a unit that gives herself 2.1k atk and 50% crit rate, building her with even just prioritizing set + main stat is feasible on which it allows u to still clear the hardest content of the game with super low investment.
I wouldnt put Huohuo on the same league as Fu Xuan as if I had to choose between the 2, its always Fu Xuan. You can praise her energy distribution and all but what Huohuo provides vs what Fu Xuan provides, its not even close.

Jingliu doesnt deserve to be in the must pull because shes a damage dealer and there will be future dps characters who will definitely exceed her damage and self buffs as this is a honkai game which is prone to powercreep

@RuanMeisDeodorant but DPS units are easily powercrept than support units. I am a Jingliu enjoyer but I agree to this list. Also, I can also see why he thinks huohuo is a better pick meta-wise and fuxuan is for comfort. When you have highly invested units, they won't need that much tankyness. Fuxuan excells in preventing your allies to be oneshotted but if you get oneshotted it's more of a build and investment issue. On the other hand, huohuo provides more than enough healing anyway and she provides tons of cleanse. Her synergy with Tingyun is hella good too. Her team wide energy regen and team wide atk buff is hella good with Ruan Mei too and they could be both used in a double dps team. One might say that fuxuan gives team wide crit rate which is awesome but you can have too much crit rate by overcapping whereas you can never have too much attack buff.
@@syn357 We'll get a free lynx next patch, so you can still play monoquantum without fu xuan. HSR doesn't have as many characters as genshin so, don't worry, her rerun should be quite fast (a few months prob)
I'm really enjoying this game but my problem is I started playing after all the good dps units were released so my best dps I have is Himeko that I pulled off my starter pulls. Also I hate the design of all the healers in this game. Natasha is by far my favorite of the bunch. I don't like building male or little girl characters in a game like this, so Huo Huo, Lynx, Bailu are all NOs for me.
Nice! I pretty much agree. I also would put Hanya in "most should build". She reminds me of Asta in the sense that shes amazing in some teams and just good in others but i think shes fits more teams than Asta overall. I use them both just a little less than Tingyun since i dont have Bronya yet (6 pulls away!!!). Good list
From a dolphin with 34 characters who comfortably clears with 30 MOC: very solid looking list that actually makes sense. It's not based on 1 vs 1 power, but one that makes a balanced multi team roster. Very smart.
If there's one nuance that's not touched on, it's that certain characters need secondary characters to be viable at all. For instance, you're not going to build Kafka unless you also build Topaz or 1+ of the 4 star DoT supports. That muddies both your "Build 2+" DPS tier as well as "Only if you like them" tier. There's no easy way to simplify this unfortunately as there are plenty of other conditional characters, e.g. Jing Yuan needs a very exact team, DHIL needs a very exact team, etc.
Out of all Sustain units, Fu Xuan is the only one a tier above the rest. Why? Fu Xuan lets people clear content that is otherwise impossible for their roster. Properly built, Fu Xuan can solo carry Sim Universe, and lets you push further in MOC than your account can with any other sustain. Huo Huo cannot do either. In MOC, all Huo Huo will do in the most optimal form is allow you to clear a round one single turn faster than usual. This is an edge case, versus Fu Xuan who massively lowers the defense requirements for your entire team 100% of the time throughout 100% of all content.
Asta is will always be better than Hanya, because mob levels and therefore mob Speeds are increasing. Asta is the only support who can keep your entire team from getting lapped -- it's simply not possible or optimal to build all your units at 180+ Speed. Hanya's single target Speed buff is not designed to do anything other than to allow your main DPS to use Attack % boots instead of Speed boots. Her SP gains allows you to run SP hungry teams, but not all teams can even take advantage of the extra SP generation. Having used Hanya in all my teams the past week, I've found that overflowing at max SP is a very common occurrence, e.g. Fu Xuan + E1S1 Bronya + Hanya w/Bronya LC + E6 QQ, I'm regularly overcapped on SP, because QQ's SP use is inconsistent. Asta can easily drop in to virtually any team comp. Hanya can't, and is often a DPS loss compared to other Harmony units, e.g. on duo DPS teams.

And you really are exaggerating on Asta, you never need a char with 180 Speed to fight any enemy, and your example about Hanya is very bad, because you say you are overflowing on skill points but using a bronya lc on both harmonys and an e1 Bronya like what do you want to happen? And as you said QQ dont use her skill point consistently
Me liking JingYuan and DHIL - man I sure like problematic men. Jokes aside, what is the exact team for DHIL? I'm planning for him on the rerun but if I need any specific units then maybe I should just... not? (for example I'm not planning on having Luocha since I have Fu Xuan and Huohuo).
For Jing I'm using him with Asta, Tingyun and Fu, not sure if there's more I can do for him?

As someone maining seele and IL, I definitely prefer my E0 hanya over my E4 asta 😅. I barely used asta anyways but hanya came in handy a lot this moc cycle (probably used her in 9-10 teams this time around).
I normally build my supports fast ( all are between 134-160+. Speed while my carries are 120-125ish speed (attk boots) so hanya speed buff on one carry is enough ) and the extra damage buffs and sp is godsend for my sp hungry teams
I dislike the idea that your quingque as a two of with the "disclaimer "of E4. Like you put Asta higher, but told us not to wish for her. Seems a bit contradicting. Then most DPS get better with the more investment you put in.

I think Xueyi will be the next QQ, quite possibly better overall when factoring QQ RNG and SP. Xueyi eidolons are all good but none are broken, only caveat is Xueyi needs Ruan Mei, but otherwise a lot of people expected Xueyi to get nerfed in Beta, which never happened.

I actually also thought of different modes we have in HSR: it is not only about MoC. In Swarm Disaster, in numerous events, we can benefit from specific characters more than from others. I did not use March a lot, but she carried me through 75% of Swarm Disaster (before I pulled Fu Xuan). Himeko is only said to be not that good, but that is because there was no Grand Duke set in the beginning, and there are more synergistic characters now. Looks like we are still in that stage in HSR where we were in the first year of Genshin, when Bennett was ranked as B (not sure, I did not play then, but I saw some old videos) and Qiqi was S+ tier :)
As someone who didn't pull for Argenti specifically because of how broken I think Sushang is, surprised she's in the bottom tier, but I do know it's opinion based. She's a really solid character.
i would def put Welt into should build as a lot people underestimate the usage of speed control when trying to mitigate dmg did to your team, a fast and ult focused welt can completely lock down enemies.
Can someone help me Im f2p I have Jingliu and an E6 Tingyun byt I dint know whom else to pair them with..... I have Imbibitor but I'd prefer keeping him in another team
For Jingliu and Tingyun, you likely couldn't go wrong with Pela and a healer. Pela's defense shred will maximize your damage, and a sustainer will keep your team fighting through Jingliu's HP drain and enemy damage
If you don't have Pela you can get her for free in the shop using stardust this month, and even at E0 she is a top tier pick
You could also consider Bronya + a Sustain if you have her, Bronya goes very well with Jingliu
@@gaving7825 at the moment I use Jingliu & Tingyun with March and Natasha....I am not sure whether to build Bailu but I also lack a proper healer otherwise. Im 50/50 so I was thinking of trying my luck on Sparkle as a buffer for crit dmg and whatnot (Although Acheron is attracting me a bit much)
having e2 hanya is actually cracked. Jingyuan gets so fast that i seem to ult way more than usual. i think hypercarry team might prefer hanya over asta but dual dps and such might want asta instead
who should I pull? In terms of DPS I have seele, Kafka and free dr ratio, Sustainers I have Huohuo and lynx, and support I only have tingyun and hanya and only tingyun is built

Few disagreements here personally:
1) Bailu, Seele & Asta are too high. Bailu has progressively been worsening as the lack of a cleanse is absolutely vile vs more & more enemies. Seele, whilest a good DPS, will become worse as enemies get tankier (and also less enemies have a quantum weakness relative to 1.0) and asta whilest solid & free, will most likely not be future proof unless you have specific units who benefit from her spd like Jing Yuan.
2) Kafka should 100% be higher. She, unlike every other DPS, is someone who we don't know the potential of, as she's a pretty specific niche. With DoT units surely coming beyond 2.0, she will definitely be far more future proof than someone like seele, QQ, Blade, Jingliu, etc...
3) As much as I love tingyun, she's not a must build. She should be in the tier pela's in. We will 100% get either more universal supports vs her, or units who do what she does, but better.

Sparkle is a buffer who can advance forward & give an unholy amount of crit dmg on her skill & recover skill points whilest buffing her talent on her ult. She also permanently increases your total skill point cap to 7. She will be an incredibly unit for DHIL or any SP heavy team, and I see this as a reason to put DHIL up a tier or even 2.
Black Swan is a nihility who applies DoT & will have synergy with Kafka, reasoning for my upgrade on her tier.

Agree. Will pull Luocha during his rerun. I like auto and passive healing. Combine it with his E1 and HH LC, he becomes hybrid between abundant and Harmony.

I would say hanya is better than asta due to her unique sp generation, and surprisingly good skill break efficiency and good multiplier. i have been using her against physical weak enemies, and she honestly break toughness better than all other 4 star dps, since you would naturally build her to be faster than most dps.
Also i would put Guinaifen to at least "Good option" and would personally put her higher since i run kafka team. But even without kafka, she is still quite awesome because
1. her dot multiplier is quite good, and she can trigger her own dot with ult;
2. her skill and ult does aoe and even when not well invested, she functions as a good fire breaker, considering other fire break options are limited to himeko and hook atm ;
3. the debuff she gives to enemies can be a more efficient dmg increase compared to regular atk buffs in some teams
In general, since i dont like running solo dps hyper carry teams, i think some of the 4 star dps could be put into "good options", especially if ppl are missing a certain element breaker. From my experience, Serval Sampo and Guinaifen are all good sub dps and break toughness pretty well if theres no other options, and with higher Eidolons+better investment that we will get slowly, their dmg will become good as well. Maybe another tier for "good if lacking elements", but i guess "good option" is fine too. When it comes down to be i just think putting them in the same tier with phys mc and arlan is a bit too much
I started playing right when Jingqiu came out and got her, then I got HouHou from her banner because I needed a healer, and then my pulls added up to get bronya from my 200 total, and I just got Ruan Mei, so my first team is pretty good, but I still have some kinks to work out with my second team. I think I can polish it up with Kefka from the next wave, and then Black Swan
Fuxuan and huo huo definitely goes to most should build.. same with sw

Number one advice: don't watch tier lists...
I think the tier list changes with team comps.. for ex, for dot team enjoyers , kafka would be a must pull , for mono quantum , sw would be must pull and so on
After a bit more usage, I can say Hanya is great! I’d put her pretty high because of the skill point regeneration and speed and damage boost she gives. She’s a great harmony unit for any skill point hungry dps.
I am glad that my value I put on characters in my head syncs up well with this, maybe my perspective wasnt baseless
