Bishop Tudor Bismark | Measure Kingdom Battles - It's A Fight

Everyone is in a fight for something. We are fighting for our families, our careers, our dreams. But the most important fight we are in is the fight for our kingdom.
In Luke 14:31-33, Jesus says, "Suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Will he not first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand? If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still far away and ask for terms of peace."
In this passage, Jesus is teaching us that we need to prepare for battle. We need to assess our strengths and weaknesses, and we need to make a plan. We cannot go into battle without a plan and expect to win.
In Matthew 11:10-12, Jesus says, "For he is the one of whom it is written: 'Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.' Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist, but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he."
In this passage, Jesus is teaching us that the kingdom of heaven is worth fighting for. It is the most important thing in the world. And we need to be willing to fight for it, even if it means suffering.
We are all in a fight for our kingdom. It is a fight against the world, the flesh, and the devil. But we are not alone. We have Jesus on our side. And if we fight with Him, we will be victorious.
What are you fighting for? Are you fighting for the kingdom of heaven? If not, what is keeping you from it? Today, I encourage you to commit to fighting for the kingdom of heaven. It is the most important thing in the world. And it is worth fighting for.
