Ok
lead and 50 will not break through. noob!
Why we never see Edwin's granpa infront of the camera?
Edwin:let me show you how to do it like the boss,he shot and missed
Jesparito:yes boss
So hilarious 😂😂😂
The irony of making a revolver in case you run into a bear that you can't hit the broadside of a barn with is not lost on me.
I laughed so hard. Jespar is my favorite part about this channel lol. (I still love you though Edwin)
😂
@@angrydingus5256 I'm right there with you. This may have been their best video of theirs that I've seen so far 😄
Gasparito
Other gun channel: starts with pistol caliber
Edwin: so today we are gonna start with the 50 BMG
Then the 20mm, then 155 howitzer
You forgot where he calls it a small caliber
To be fair he did do previous cast iron skillet videos.
Sound logic. lol
@@TetraHydroCannabinolTHC Followed up with a GBU 500lb, then the GBU 2000lb. lol
gun prime is like a family member for Edwin and gesparitho 😂😂😂😂
Yup I think the same🤣🤣
Lol
Gun Prime is his grandad from World War 1
Even better than a family member. I wouldn't let most of my family members borrow my guns
Yeaaaa. Like Bud's Gun Shop for Hickok45.
I've heard of cast iron and stainless steel, but never of stainless cast iron, definitely a new level in the cookware industry
@@Tristoo Steel is not defined by simply having carbon in the alloy. Too much carbon means it's not steel just as much as too little.
Damn it, beat me to it.
Cast iron is FAR different from steel. I'm not even sure where to begin, but think of steel as carbon "inside" iron, well mixed. Think of cast iron as carbon and ferrite barely mixed.
Chromium are large plateletes that form carbides around the matrix in steel.
I'm thinking this is some kind of mix of cast chromium/ferrite... Maybe... Idk. I only know enough metallurgy to heat treat and forge knives and other tools.
But I'm DEF looking into what this is.
The name sounds just... Wrong.
@@Tristoo I'm still laughing at your explanation of how cast iron "is pretty much steel"!
From their website "Our stainless cast iron alloy has better mechanical and thermal properties than any cast iron, carbon steel, or stainless steel. It's a major breakthrough in cookware performance."
Edwin, next time, put a number on each so you can identify them real quick.
All the stuff he had to carry out there, and a magic marker has been suggested yrs ago, but not gonna happen.
@@treeguyable hahaha he wants it the hard way!
Spray paint!
He's purposely not doing it so the vid lasts longer meaning more adds $$
@@liansandoval8866 yeah, those Miss Vicky chips are not cheap haha
They didn't tell you the "engineer" was a SOCIAL engineer. They tricked you into free publicity.
Genius marketing lol.
It still stopped every pistol bullet they the at it, except the 500 mag. I'd say that's good for a pretty good NIJ rating. I'd have liked to see the other NIJ threshold rounds, like .308 and 30-06 black tip.
They didn't trick him. I believe he was paid for it
Everybody gangsta until a hit marker appears with a man screaming in the background....
Underrated 🤣🤣🤣
It's like watching Cheech and Chong do firearms - hilarious and entertaining.
When he said “yes boss” damn I haven’t laughed that good in a while
This is the most trustworthy badass scientist I've ever seen.
hey you should try shooting a forged steal item and see what the rounds do. a forged crankshaft might just work I'd be curious to see how well that holds up to a 50bmg
I will buy this pot 😊
@M L Edwin promote it well so they dont need to to it
Loved your vids

What is he talking about that is normal.
But for the range in the videos it's still a good optic. You dont need to be able to read the fineprint through the scope to pop it ^^
"Welcome to the science channel"
I had already expected this line before starting this video.😁
Damn, I am impressed by those pans! I’m going to order some. For cooking and home defense!
There's also different kind of stainless steels as well. Regular stainless steel is not hard at all. Probably hardness closer to mild steel. RHA Mil-A 12560 is similar and almost identical to Grade 5 Titanium. 300 ~ 400 brinell hardness range.
Hey, listen...... No one cares about that ok ?
It didn't stop,I love the way you proved him wrong, the engineer
“How I know? I know, I’m a scientist.”
*whispers*
“oh wait, I forgot the safety.”
The M in science stands for safety
@@savagetuner2404 Yeah. And he takes that very seriously!
When ever I've shopped for cookware I've never stopped to consider how impervious it is to
a variety of high powered rifle and pistol cartridges. It's probably the reason that I own so many colanders and no pots or pans. Thanks for the entertaining and informative video.
That was cool could see that bullet skip off into the desert
10:15 for anyone wondering
@@BrianAllen174 I thought he meant 12:15
I liked that you shot the 50BMG first!
"Yes Boss!"
Put it on tee and merch that, go call Matt!
I would just love to see you all shoot the 500 Nitro Express double barrel elephant gun!
or better yet the .700 nitro express
Or even Better, the 4 or 2 bore!!! 💥💥💥
But to see them pull both triggers of the 500 would be hilariously awesome!
Well it's not like Scott has much use for it right now!
@@zlamdunk007 yes. that would be awesome, had a 4 bore blunderbuss once thing was a monster.
“Yes boss” had me laughing.
Well, they've succeeded at one thing ... I'd never even heard of cast stainless. Now I have.
The problem I have with your test is there is not enough resistance from the pans, as the bullet hits the pan the pan move backward absorbing some of the energy. I bet if you stack the pans on each other with a very heavy backstop or wall your outcome will be different.
Your theory has been proven wrong so many times it isn't even discussed.
@@USN_Ret- show me!
This was so fun to watch. Those are some tuff skillet
The next question; is how well do they cook a ribeye steak?... maybe it's time for another cooking video on the vlog channel!
Never trust friends or family when you hear the words yeah you should be ok
That's all the confidence I need 🤣🤕
You should place numbers on each of these stacked targets when you shoot them. It will be easier to tell which one was hit and the order of when they were hit.
Engineer didnt say shit, marketing team saw an opportunity and snatched it uo🤣
I’m still laughing about the water’s edge...
I doubt you would be able to hit a charging bear with this one lmao
Ah, what a nice new video!
It makes my day, today. Thank youuuu, Doctor Edwin and Doctor Gasparito! ❤️
Cool video thank you for posting here in New York City watching that 50.bmg is no joke and I got to say those Skillets are strong.
45-70 is a bad boy round. My buddy had a derringer that every once in a while would fire both rounds. It hurt many hands.
A 45-70 round is larger than a derringer never seen one chambered in that
@@Taylormade2350 well I have. It was a painfully good time
@@Taylormade2350 the end of the bullet was about 1/2" from the end of the barrel

I used to shoot like that at a old junkyard. Old water heaters, washing machines, etc. bringing back good memories. Thanks

CRYPTO keeps going up and down everyday but all I can say is that, this is still the best time to invest better in it because in few weeks time Bitcoin will be so f**king hot🔥🔥🔥
Most wise investors with crypto uses the opportunity of when there is a drop in the market to buy and trade with
A working strategy and a plan to navigate the system, using the low price in the market to trade daily
Speculating the increase in price, get a working plan today for that profit making.
For me Trading has been going well for me because I use a day trading system that helps me with good signal which have made me to accumulate over 8.5btc in two weeks, get a working strategy with the help of an expert, Mr Tom Hutchinson
Wow you know him, he is really a good investor 💯💯💯💯
The market is still about btc at the moment and I will advise all newbies to take the advantage of Mr Tom Hutchinson program, who runs a training program for newbie
Who lack understanding on how Bitcoin works, to help them recover loss from the crash and also accumulate more Bitcoin.
Oh god i was laughing so hard at how many times you guys missed with that giant revolver
How do I buy one of the un-shot skillets? I want one (or more!).
Imagine you were missing a bear, you would be dead by now. What a poor Jaspareto
I love guns and shooting. But you don't believe that I have never shooting in my life! Because I am bangladeshi and I am in middle class family. It's my dream. Thanks to this chenel for these amazing shooting videos.
You'll be shooting one day, maybe you can even own your own guns. Good luck.
@@theRPGmaster thank you .
Wonder if u cud make and fire a cast iron bullet at a cast iron target
What should I call you? Can I call you Ed? Ed: "Just call me Doctor🎓."
U re the bestt keep moving up bro
Should try shooting in the middle, metal is always weak where it bends. So the engineer is probably right
no the material there is weaker and its not gonna bend
It is cast... it wasn't bend anywhere.
The metal is far stronger around the edge where he shoot it. It's thinker there, and it is reinforced/stiffened by the edge that is perpendicular to the bottom. There is a competing factor, where the area closer to the sides of the pan has less give, and it absorbs less energy than it would if he shoot it in the middle. But that's not enough to overcome the stiffening effects of the sides and the thickened metal close to the corner.
Great video as always, can you make a video with skillets cemented in cinderblocks so the energy of the projectile has a chance to penetrate and not knock them over. For science of course. Thank you
I haven't laughed so much watching a gun video before!!!! You guys are great!!!! Subbed for life!
Shoot a 50 Bmg tracer in the sky at night and see how it comes back
4570 is normally a rifle round to kill large game. Shooting from a hand gun must be painful.
Kentucky ballistics shot a 45 70 out of a derringer. It didn't look fun
I love when these past gems show up on my feed. Delicious.
Nice, I have been using a cast iron pan my whole life and I love to cook with it, I expect greatness from stainless.
The engineers must not know a 50 bmg can go through a tank lol
Sure, a tank from the 1910s
Which tank? Watertank maybe.

It just like when kaspersky killing viruses from pc
Mcafee is much better than this
Disappointed not center mass from the .50, it probably would have made it passed to 5 frying pans.
Why he didn't have a platform to keep the barrel stable and centered I'll never know. Probably could have had the bricks on the ground and proned with that bipod mighta worked...
I love this channel you guys are sweet and you go straight on the point
If you had a Sharpie, you could number your targets instead of guessing what happened. Love you guys!
I love when the camera says " Am ready"
Great video. I'll be buying some of these skillets.
Hi edwin.i recently watched a video about shooting through a bag of builders sand .bullets don't go through well the small ones .but 2 bags will stop rifle rounds. Arrows go straight through. Can you do a similar test , you may be surprised by the results.thank you .
That optic on the 50 is HILARIOUS
Ikr that’s a joke that online shooter game players won’t get lol
@@dirtyoldba__welluknowthere8863 why, do they actually use stuff like that in the games? Not familiar with FPS games
Keep it up guys. Love what you doing.
The engineer was probably graduated from online classes...😛😂
Hey Edwin, have you thought about using a tall bipod or tripod? Something like 4ft. high that will make it easier to shoot the big heavy rifles accurately. Sometimes people don't want to use them because they think it isn't cool. Well, once you start using it you will be mad at yourself for not starting sooner. Get a good one (or two) and watch how much better you shoot and how much more fun you have. They also are much safer in many situations.
What’s the instrumental during the advertisement?
Dr. Edwin could you pls. post timestamps when you state "fire in da hole"
It was so funny to see you guys shooting those irons, my wife is so mad at you :(
I love this science channel 👌
Id love to have one of those pans. Damaged or still usable. I actually collect cast-iron pants. Just discover your videos about an hour ago and I’m loving them!
The engineer was talking about .50 cal Nerf gun, you know, foam darts 😂 😂
Bloody funny vid. I love all your stuff mate.
"It's a big gun design to take down elephants and bears..."

Love yr channel Edwin ..U never disappoint..lol...u guys are great n hilarious..thanks
I love you guys you guys are great. Hey when you're looking for the spent bullets try using a infrared camera that picks up on heat. It'll point out the bullets to you. You guys are great though I love the sidekick he could be a star on his own.
Awesome video as always Professor.
Maybe the "engineers" thought that 50 BMG "regular" round uses a lead-core, but even the regular FMJ is hardened steel-core...
I love it when jasper says im ready
I have now spend a one hour to find the link for the cooking channel but i cant find it?😭
Tough stuff. Thank you
The food channel is near 100k, we are still waiting for the rpg.
You have the best cameraman a channel could ask for haha yes boss
I see your at it again. Messing up perfectly good cast pans. Some how this reminds me of my childhood. Mom and Dad would say to me " if yer a good boy we'll take you down to the candy store and let me look through the window".
Can I get one of the undamaged ones? I am terrible at maintaining cast iron, these are super cool!
Jasparito saw a giant ant when he was shooting the 500 magnum the first time lmao
